Its affiliated both with the university and with the community, so we dont restrict ourselves to just student staff.
It is entirely student run which sets it aside from the other station on campus, but we have djs and staff from all over the place.
We have a huge freedom of what we play on our shows.

I'm listening to it every Fri. Well. Not this Friday since it's the homecoming game, but every Fri. Or every other Fri >> So how did this station start? I'll love to get the people in Atlanta to do something like that.

Argh. How the heck do you guys handle the funding? x_xxx; YAY! regular listeners! You can actually talk to DJs live over AIM whenever someone is in the studio, so drop me a line when you're listening ^_~ The sn is Corerequests. Ahhh...the history of this station. It started way back in 1971. It went from AM only available within the dorms, to pirate, and now to FM and the web. It's college radio, pretty much a motley bunch of college kids came together to start it up. Now its a community and college station. We get funds from the schools, since we're also affiliated with a local highschool, their board of ed shells out money to the station. University gives us some cash because we're a school organization. We do fundraising and such too. A college station is a good way to give some air time to stuff that mainstream stations would ignore ^_^

I'm so angsty cause I can't find the new album to download anywhere(Since I fail at life and can't purchase Japanese cds since I can only get them over the internet and mom forbids me from buying things on the internet) and I wanna hear the new stuff. DX -slits wrists all emo like- emo
Ruiza's solo stuff is AMAZING. Like, I literally needed new pants after listening, it wasthat amazing. XD And I normally don't like heavy guitar stuff. But HOT DAMN Ruiza's skills are orgasmic(that can be taken both ways XD)

Kuroboshi Rei I'm so angsty cause I can't find the new album to download anywhere(Since I fail at life and can't purchase Japanese cds since I can only get them over the internet and mom forbids me from buying things on the internet) and I wanna hear the new stuff. DX -slits wrists all emo like- emo Ruiza's solo stuff is AMAZING. Like, I literally needed new pants after listening, it wasthat amazing. XD And I normally don't like heavy guitar stuff. But HOT DAMN Ruiza's skills are orgasmic(that can be taken both ways XD) Oh I agree...I enjoy Ruiza's album a lot... its totally just an album of glorious glorious guitar solos. And so its not only me who thinks Ruiza's guitarwork has a really sexual vibe to it. Then again, a lot of power metally speed guitar does have that kind of feeling to it. I mean...why do you think that they call the sound of a guitar "wailing"? It's like a very emotive voice ^_^;
