my journey to get tusbasa volume 8 was.....really panicky. i almost thought it wouldnt be in stock...*copy and pastes the explination of her adventure...she PMed moko-chan about it, you see.*
i got it on the day it was scheduled to come out on! but it took a while....
after school, i walked to barnes and nobles*its a five minute walk to there from school*, and went to the manga section....and it wasnt there. but thats not the first time its happened like that, so i went up to the front desk and waited for some employee or someone esle to help me out. a guy came over, i asked if "tsubasa, this graphic novel" was out, "since it was supposed to be released today", and told him it was "volume 8". he looked it up on the computer, and was like "hmm, thats strange. all of the volumes except volume 8 are listed.."
me: eek
so he was like, let me check in the graphic novel section. id already checked it, but we went anyways, and of course, it still wasnt there. so he said that he'd go check in the back. when he came back, in his hands were... absolutely nothing.
me, for the second time: eek
then he told me maybe it was on one of those carts they piled books on before placing them into their aproprioate sections, and checked on them. but it wasnt there
i started to freak out a bit.
he thought about it for a while, and was like "im going to check in the back again...", and went off. but he came back again empty handed.
so then he checked in the teen section, but again, it wasnt there.
at this point, id been standing there waiting for it for the longest time id ever waited in my entire history of barnes and noble visitings....
finally, he said, for the third time, "im gonna go check in the back".
then he went off. i figured it was hopeless to try anymore, but then he came back, sighing, with...a copy of volume 8 of tsubasa
me: confused neutral eek smile biggrin xd blaugh rofl TSUBASA!!
...and so ends my adventure of trying to find the 8th volume of tsubasa.

Mine just involved the lady digging through her cart, and pulling out 1 of 2 copies of volume 8. Why only 2? Why not 5? OR 10!! stressed But that's beside the point. ANYWAY.
I dumped a handful of change on the counter, and the clerk was all: sweatdrop eek SO, I counted it, spent every scrap of cash with me, and had to walk home, as I'd spent my bus fare.
Minna: Nice job, Mokona. Truly brilliant.

i have a feeling that somehow, sometime, that'll happen to me as well....

The February 2006 issue of Anime Insider formally announced that the series would be released in the coming year. Anime news network has also posted on the issue. It can be read about here: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*breath*OOOOOOOOO!!!!! Oh, wait...welllll, look at it this way. FUNamation's dubs at least get the voice right--and sometimes provide us with uncut, original Japanese audio versions on DVD. Oh, if you don't believe me--look at 4Kids. I'm just glad THEY didn't get it. Gah, can you imagine the horror?

Ed found Dante and Rose, Ed's all "WTF? WHERE'S AL???", Gluttony's all "Lust... noooo", Wrath wants Sloth back. That's it. Cept' Now Ed is in that place that happens in the movie and Hoenheim's all "does the word transmutation mean anything to you?" Ed: *nod nod* Of course! Hoenheim-y : WTF? Why are you here? Then the worst Hagaren ending theme plays. I hate this one. It's lamer than Motherland. >_< -mokona

my brother's friend currently thinks im insane--all just because i enjoyed the movie and its...yeah. no spoilers, saku-chans too buzy dominating. look it up on youtube*they have the movie in parts* if you feel like it, peoples.v now, to dominate! *charge!*

Look on the bright side of things, mmkay? hagane is te BESTEST! one of my favorites, next to all the CLAMP mangas~~ anyways-- maybe we shoukd be a bit thankful, but im the type to look at the dark side when it comes to these kinds of situations... *sigh* oh well, ill just stick with the manga...and pretend that the dubbed anime does not and will not exist... -sakura
