With a sigh of regret, Ty noted that his primary form of combat was not an option, here. He glanced behind him to check for someone behind them as they fell, landed gracefully, put his claws on the ground, and drew his gun, standing to the left side of the main action and firing as well as he knew how. Hopefully, bullets wouldn't ricochet too terribly much in this place.

Isaac, being rather shy, didn't introduce himself to Carlyle. Seeing Cassandra's discomfort, he took a few hasty steps away, thinking that maybe his residual REF was causing her discomfort. Better not to have these people not liking him, right? But what if they needed cover and he was out of position? Ahhh, this was hard! The problem resolved itself when Carlyle called them into the circle. Isaac stepped into it, his REF still deactivated, and fell through the floor, facing the direction Cassandra had indicated. Once they landed (Isaac felt almost no impact from the floor, since his legs had basic shock absorbers and the fall had only been a few feet), Isaac skipped to the right, so that the group was between Ty and himself. He raised his arms and began to launch lead slugs at the Tyrgani patrol.

The first two members of the patrol went down in seconds. They were lightly armored.
The second two did not go down quickly at all; they were in full Tyrgani power armor, six and a half feet of metal and magic. Their guns were the size of Ty's torso.
And they were raising them.
Behind them, a third light soldier had taken cover between his better-armored compatriots, and a blood mage with a Drakken-obsidian earring was ducking behind a wall of the corpses' blood.

Isaac turned his attention to the blood mage and the light guard, since his current slug throwers were not powerful enough to disable powerarmor unless he hit a joint. And he, of course, was not confident enough to try taht just yet. He sprayed rapid bursts of lead at his aforementioned targets.

Ty knew there was no way he would survive once the guys in the power armor started shooting. Someone needed to end them, and quickly. "Isaac! Go for the big guys. You can take 'em, dude." He flashed a grin over at the timid Knight even amidst the firefight. As he watched the blood mage put up his shield, though, a thought struck him. He crouched and made his way over to Cassandra. "Hey, hot stuff," he said quietly, "would you mind covering me for a bit? I'm gonna see if I can take out the mage." He briefly fought the urge to change, knowing that it would just cause unnecessary confusion at this point, and positioned himself directly across from the mage. He'd give the guy something to work with.

Isaac froze for a second. Oh no. Oh no no no. This was bad. Ty was now trusting him. Clearly, someone needed to end those powersuits. Ty was not equipped either, and he needed Isaac to do it. Failing would make Isaac a disappointment to Ty. But he couldn't avoid doing it in order to avoid humiliating himself. Doing so would only serve the same purpose. What to do? What to do?! His choice was made. Ty was moving; if Isaac didn't do what Ty expected, then Ty would probably die. And that would make Isaac feel like s**t, you know? So he knelt. He activated his magnets to ensure he was steady. He focused his eyes, which were actually ocular implants. He drew several beads on the joints of the powersuits. Controlled bursts from the weapons in each arm meant that he could hit four joints on each powersuit before he had to stop firing, both to control recoil and check for a result. Final checks: Complete. Guns: Ready. Targets: Acquired. Fire! Isaac aimed for the shoulder and elbow joints of each powersuit. If he could disable those, then they couldn't get their guns up to kill Isaac's companions. Oddly, he didn't even think about his own dying. He stopped firing. He had to see the result before he continued. He was ready to do so, however.

Isaac fired his shots, but the joint mesh had runic defenses; each one was stopped in turn.
"Clockboy, shoot my 'nade in front of them!" Carlyle called out; he threw a white phosphorus canister grenade at their enemies as Ty prepared to rush.

Instead of panicking like usual, Isaac's "gaze" (and thus, his targeting) flicked to the grenade, then his guns followed. He had snapped the nade out of the air before he had even had time to be a pansy about it.

Ty dashed forward as soon as the grenade detonated, sprinting like an animal and leaving claw marks in the floor as he charged the wall of blood. Just before reaching it, he hopped to the side, jumped off the wall of the hallway, and with a playful snarl, slashed powerfully at the mage behind it.

As the white phosphorus ignited, Ty lunged past it successfully. The blood mage cried out and dropped onto his back, throwing his arms into the way of Ty's attack. He was thrown to the gronud, arms bleeding profusely. The lightly armored guard swung the stock of his rifle at Ty's head.
The power armors reacted reasonably well to being lit on fire by a dangerous chemical, taking one hand from their guns to do what seemed to be a series of hand signals.
"The Captain says, 'Do something about their hands and they can't control half their systems!' " Carlyle called out, holding his left hand to an earpiece on the goggles.

Isaac spread his arms, lead slugs spraying at the light guard assaulting Ty. After a glance in that direction to make sure that he would hit him in the face and chest, he looked back to the powersuits. His arms snapped back together and he fired as Carlyle said, aiming for the arms and hands.

Ty dropped to the ground, holding his body inches above the floor to get out of the infantry's line of fire, and lunged with a wild, animal grin at the retreating mage, slashing at his chest.

The guard heard the first gunshot and dropped - on top of Ty, pinning him by his legs as he sprayed his submachine gun at the Coven group. The corridor was spacious but it had no cover; one mage went down, firing a torrent of force with his dying breath, forcing the power armors to stumble backwards.
The blood mage kicked Ty away and scrambled to his feet behind a power armor.

While the power armors were stumbling, Isaac took the opportunity to fire inside of their scrambled defenses and hit their freaking hands and arms.

Ty twisted with a less friendly snarl as he felt the blow to his face and jammed his claws on one hand two inches into the guard's torso and ripped up along it, then swung his legs out from under his attacker. From there, he pulled out his claws and made use of the mage's loss of balance as the power armor stumbled backwards to pounce and tackle him.
