confused *i stare blankly at Yattaro for a moment
i scratch my head with the point of my gun and think very hard. i was never one to notice much when in a fight, but i offered a guess*
Well, they were...extremely...easy to kill? considering their level. I didnt even need to use my flame.

*i looked at Yattaro. Then at his guns. Then i looked at my guns. Regular revolvers. I closed my eyes and thought. Didnt that random man in the sewers say something about only rings could harm animated, and that was why everyone was getting them? My shadow blade had always been able to kill animated, but that was because it was special. how could regular guns kill animated?*
You killed those animated with regular guns! That's interesting, but what does it mean?

They ain't true animated, they were created by humans, they were created for a pourpose, and more important... not by the same people that created the animated

*now it was Dusk's turn to be starred blankly at. i looked at him in surprise, then i looked at Yattaro, then at the animated, then back at Dusk. i poke Dusk to see if he's a robot.*
Wait. So what you're saying is there's a way to create artificial bio-life form?
*this was so much to take in. so there's a group out there making monsters and shaping them to look like animated. but they've also made them in human form. does that mean either the ones in human form are made differently, or all of them have the same mental capacity as a human?*
Are these "animated"...intelligent? they are obviously flesh and blood, able to be cut with a regular knife. question is, how else are they different from regular animated we've faced before, and how are they being created. that *I turn to Dusk* maybe you alone know.

*The tamers looked human. since i didnt feel right about killing my own kind, i didnt shoot to kill. but i also knew not to underestimate them, so i didnt hold back either. i shot at one, aiming for his head, knowing he would dodge. he did, and got behind me, but i was waiting. i brought my sword around and wacked the back of his neck with the blunt side, knocking him out.*
