Selene had the sensation that her stomach was stinging for a moment, but it faded. She smiled when she looked at Kriss and saw him looking at her. She glanced at his stomach, concern apparent in her eyes. "Feeling better?" she asked in a soft voice.

"Yes, much better"Kriss smiled at her then stared out the window one final time then suddenly passed out.
Kriss was flying. Nothing unnatural about that. But then something had hit him. The thing that caught him was that it was water. He looked down to see a giant pool of water surging at him. The laughter had filled his ears. The laughter was bittersweet. Then suddenly an arc of fire appeared in front of him. The fire had singed his face and hair. Again laughter filled his ears. Without a second thouhgt, Kriss started to plummet. The earth was waiting for him. IT had swallowed him. More laughter had erupted. Tears rolled down his face.
Am I really that weak?

Selene rushed to Kriss' side to check his pulse when he passed out. She calmed herself when it was normal. She stayed by his side though. When tears began to fall down his cheeks, she wiped them away gently with her fingers.

The tears kept flowing out of Mimiks eyes, and the memories came back with them. All the years of pain kept flowing back. All the mistakes, all the decisions, all the wrong turns. It now led to this. It was to late to turn around, he was already set on his goal, and he would not be done until it was finished.
Mimik looked up, he heard the rustle of the leaves, the crunch of the ground, he heard the scurry of the animals, and he also heard the swallow breathing of a person,
"To hide in the trees is around me is not very wise" Mimik said with the tears gleaming in his eyes. "Come out."

Kriss sat upright in an instant. The nightmare had scared him beyond all belief. It showed him his worst fear. Kriss thought he was the weakest. Kriss knew that everyone was stronger than him. Kriss knew that he would lose this war. But he also knew that he wasn't about to give up easily.

Kriss needed to shake the feeling that had overwhelmed him. Another battle was sure to erupt soon. He needed to be ready for it. Leaving Enya a note that thanked her, Kriss started to leave the house. "Come on Selene, I need to prepare for the next battle"

Selene stood walking to the chair to grab his coat, and then followed. She wanted to comfort him, but she felt that he was trying not to think about whatever had upset him. So she decided to pursue a plan. "Well, Kriss, if you remember I can turn invisible. You were the only Elemental to sense me.." she suggested.

Kris listened to Selene with interest. "Go on. What do you have brewing" Kriss didn't know what she was thinking but any plan seemed to work with him. He didn't quite have a plan right now anyways.

Then i have a real life one that we are all stuck on because my group of friends haven't been able to hang out in a long time.]]

Selene smiled. She shrugged, "Well, if you have him distracted, I can do a sneak attack. He would be completely surprised." she said. She hoped Kriss would be impressed for a moment, then told herself she shouldn't care. Kriss should just be pleased that she chose to support him. "I think it could be an easy win." she added.
((I hate getting stuck in RPs. I am stuck in two right now, until tomorrow. ))
