Sorry, but you must be smoking some dope ish. LT had way more than just one good year. He ran for more consecutive 1000+yd seasons than any other RB in the league ever had. He also is the youngest player ever to have that many yards achieved, also had set at the one time the most rushing TD's scored in a season. Has also been in the top 5 rushing every year more than I care to remember. Oh, and he has one of the more sicker yds per carry in the league for career. He already is considered to be one of the best all time.

L.T has been soooooo over rated the last 3 yrs. I do relize tht he had more then one good season. He wasnt good last yr, he aint gona be good this or the next one after tht

Last three years?
Not counting his injury riddled season last season
2007- 1,474yds 1st in league
2006- 1,815yds 1st in league
2005- 1,462yds 6th in league

Injury riddled year - 2008- 1,110yds 10th in league

Those are more than exceptional years overall. All in the top ten and virtually in the top 5 every year but last. He is averaging 1470yds per season.

Emmit Smith- 1244yds avg per season
Walter Payton- 1286yds avg per season
Barry Sanders- 1527yds avg per season
Eric Dickerson- 1205yds avg per season
Jim Brown- 1368yds avg per season

As you can see, save for Barry Sanders, LT is far better than even the best all time. If you think he is overrated, then you are seriously in need of reality check 101. He is media hyped, yes. But he is by no means overrated in any stretch.

How old are you really? Tell the truth

Although age has nothing to do with it, Vegito is right.. Tomlinson is in no way over-rated. He's a very good RB, maybe one of the best..

Haha that guy is strait bashing LT, I'm known for hating on smaller running backs but even I think this guy is high.

Well for those people who are stat junkies, he will at this point be the third best of all time. By stats. Give him another 4 years, he would be on point to getting closer to the best all time. But as much as I would prefer talking of Westbrook, LT will be the best of this generation. Peterson, if he can keep it up, will be for this upcoming generation.

In four more years he will be to old and slower and not as tough as he is now. If he ever steps up iut will have to be this or next year.

Dude, if LT injured his groin muscle last Season and STILL played and played WELL usually getting over 100 yds every game, in four years, I don't think he is gonna get slower. Knowing LT, he probably will get faster, stronger, better. Gentlemen, he has the technology.

how does technogly help u in football, it doesnt, football is raw skill, speed, quickness, and vision. u can have all the technogly u want (u can be a robot) but unless u have those raw skill abitlies u arnt going to be good at football. I've heard of under armor and X-bionic but tht wont give tht much of a boost

He was joking, duh. LT has been slowing down becoming less mobile over the last 2 or 3 years. Their is no way he is ever going to be as good as he was 5 years ago, every player with the exception of QB's get slower less mobile over their career. LT has maybe 2-4 years of good football left in him.

Technology is able to help. It is called medical technology. The better it is, the faster he will recover and the less side effects will be inherited. He still has another 3 or 4 years of 1000+yd seasons and will be among the best to ever grace the game anyways.

You can't listen to somebody say when thier going to retire because most of the time they say that but quit early or don't want to leave and stay longer.
