How does it become clear that you are able to pass from maid to maiko? Does one of the members of the Okiya (like the mother) have to inform you that you are ready?

Gyirzj - One thing you can do is pm some of the members of your okiya to try and get them more active. wink
Aoi Shinu -
1: Check with your okiya's head geisha or mother. They will tell you when you have passed.
2: Yes. They do. ^^
G.E.I.S.H.A - Check your test post. If it has been graded already, your test will have been replaced with the okiya above your profile by a crew member. ^^

Like me! Hi Onee-sama!
I actually have a question...
Would it be possible to make a marketplace thread in the geisha quarters? Like...a place where the geisha, maiko, and maids could roleplay shopping and such...groceries, shops where maids and maiko could go to pick up shamisen strings for the geisha, and just trinket shops to plan what they might want when they become geisha. It wouldn't be like actual shops with shopkeepers, but just a thread where people could RP buying groceries.
I.E. A geisha and her maiko go to the thread and post rp about buying certain types of tea under the okiya mother's directions...

No inconvience, I'm sorry I haven't been around more. I have been working... X.x; My days having been well established yet. Once they are and I get my other comeputer going I should be on and able to play. Just pm me and let me know when you have things ready for me.

Lol, Mizu got to my idea! Except, I was wondering if there was some way that a kimono shop could be established? I could find and draw some of the kimono, and the helpers would be few. Soo . . . yeah . . . what do you think?

solardancer - We're in the process of making new cards. Therefore, ID processes will be cut off until they are finished.
Mizu & Kitty - Eeto...hold off on that idea, though it is a good one. We have already thought of this and you are making me ruin our surprise. Our newest idea is that we will have a place where Patron can buy gifts for maiko/geisha. There will be slots on the id's to show off these items. We will get maiko to help us run this shop. We're already having various guild members create the hairstyles and kimono. Just hold off on the town ideas for now, please. Wait until the crew has finished their stuff. xp

A friend of mine, Mahayr, said she would like to enter the guild - I suppose after the holidays. She was raised partly in Japan, and I think it would be very nice to have her here... May I ask that, if she is accepted, she could join Kanenokikyou Okiya like me? We seem to have the least amount of members at the moment, and beside me and Yuri alias Sapphire Lotus nobody seems to be posting at all lately.

We designated the test so that when you make a maid...you are able to meet various people and become friends with new maids. If there are ties on her test, and it's indeterminable otherwise...I'll put her into the Kanenokikyou okiya. wink Think of it in these terms: You'll still post together everywhere else...except in your own okiya. Plus, you can ask your head geisha to invite her into the okiya for guest meetings...etc...I'm sure there would be no objections there. heart
