Mankind is destined to rule the stars, do you doubt the teachings of the Ecclesiarchy? Or do you want HER to pay you a visit?

Van Evok Mankind is destined to rule the stars, do you doubt the teachings of the Ecclesiarchy? Or do you want HER to pay you a visit? How hertical is it to say that I wouldn't mind her paying me a visit wink In othernews, since Dio passed, and with him any hope of finding the secret of immortallity, mankind will fall, then the xeno's, finishing with an epic battle between nids and crons. Nids will win.

I am not endorsing the idea of humanity's fall, but in that hypothetical case Nids cant absorb Necrons DNA nor biomass since they have none... Ergo Necrons pwn Bugs. Even on Dex: Bugs maps there are shown Hive Fleets avoiding dead worlds where Necrons are likely to slumber...

But whilst the nids do avoid necron worlds, eventually they will consume all other races, so the necrons will have to fight them. At that point I believe that Nids will win through sheer weight of numbers, given that all the biomass of most the galaxy will then be converted into pointy teeth and tendrils

Once all biomass is consumed Tyranids leave the Galaxy in search of new food, so no reason to stay and fight Necrons, leaving the bots even more emo now that they have no one to fight...

Are we forgetting the Star GODS? Whole beings who feed on Stars, and race's suffering, which is what the Tyranids will bring. The C'tan will come back and destroy the Tyranids, you cannot kill a God, as it is proven.

The C'tan will come back and destroy the Tyranids, you cannot kill a God, as it is proven. First off, C'tan, like the Chaos pantheon, are small 'g' gods. They have phenomenal cosmic power, but it's not infinite, they aren't omnipotent or omniscient. And to the point - they have already died in droves. There's a reason why there's only 4 left. Really, From what I understand the conflict to be, Tyranids will try to eat everything in the galaxy. The Necrons will either fight to keep the cattle races alive, and get locked in a stalemate with the Nids, or the 'Crons ragequit from the galaxy for another 60 million years and wait for life to come back.

Apologies for the G's. As I recall, it never says of another race, or even the Old Ones killing a C'tan, only the Nightbringer (Or was it some others?) warring with the other star gods?
The 'Crons might F10 it.

Necrons have two options basically, fight the Nids for the swedish table that is Galaxy to both races, or go to sleep until food respawns. Tyranids will fight them in the first case, ignore in the second. Note the inherent disadvantage for the bugs when fighting the bots - bugs rely on their opponents biomass to resupply battlefield losses, but bots have no biomass to assimilate, and when defeated teleport away leaving not even metal to scavenge. This mean the Necrons might just mean the difference needed to stop Nids from overruning the Galaxy...

I think you're also overlooking the power of the Bug Hive Mind. if it ever decides to reveal itself (albeit, most likely not going to happen) there would be some epic battle between the star gods and the Hive Mind in which I'm not really sure who would win (however, I've got the vision that the Hive Mind is actually a planet-size or larger being). just wanted to throw some seasoning on the bacon.

The Hive Mind is a sum of all the psychic-attuned Bugs, so it cant be killed unless you kill ALL the psy-bugs, though losing great many of them can probably weaken it considerably. Compared to that C'Tan are quite mortal.

Ah, ok, my apologies. I always thought of the Hive Mind as an entity that commanded the Tyranids.

The Necrons have made a planet sized battleship you know, see the Space Marine Codex. No one knows how many more of them inhabit the galaxy.
