Kiisho turned from the fallen, moving instead towards those that still stood.
His shoulder burned with an agonizing pain, and each of his limbs felt like they would fall off at any moment. Kiisho would not, could not be stopped however. He would finish this, he would not allow the hollow to prevail.
He burst into a large group of hollow with violent force, laying about with his whip and blade alike.
"Shakkaho!"
The ball of fire burst through half of the group, leaving the bodies smoldering.
"Byakurai!"
The whip lashed out, and the remaining forces fell, pierced by the lightning.

Only sixty-six hollow remained. Sixty six more to go and he would be done. The thought lit a fire in his belly. A fire that flowed through every inch of his being and out of his blade, sending his reiatsu high into the sky with burst of spirit pressure.
Half of the remaining hollow broke ranks and charged him, but Kiisho was in his own world. A world filled with blood, blood, and kidou.
"Byakurai!"
The lightning exploded forth from his whip, curling and lashing with deadly fast accuracy. Each of the thirty-six hollow that attack had not previously known fear, none besides the fear that they themselves inflicted. Despite that, they screamed in terror as their bodies were rent in two.

Thirty hollow remained. Just thirty. Kiisho could practically taste the rest that he would soon experience.
It had been a long battle, the longest that he had ever experienced. Despite that, and despite the pain he felt from his various wounds and his utter exhaustion, Kiisho laughed.
It was a freeing sensation, laughing in the face of your enemies. It was also not something that he often did, but in this case, he felt it was appropriate.
The remaining hollow were also showing a trait not common for their ilk. Caution.
They stared at him with dark red eyes, each hesitating to move for fear of attack. Fully six hundred and twenty hollow had fallen before his flashing blade. These thirty did not stand much more of a chance.
"Death comes" he said with a smirk, whirling his whip above his head like a tornado.
"Die!"
He lashed out, bringing the whip down with intense ferocity.
"BYAKURAI!"
Five enormous bolts of lightning burst from the ends of the whip, descending onto the hollow like liquid fire. So intense was the assault, and the release of reiatsu by Kiisho, that the rope holding the blast was ripped apart.
Each bolt seared through the group, sending panic and mayhem as it slaughtered the attackers. When the dust settled, none remained, and the only signs of battle were the blood-spattered ground, and the echoing boom from the strike.

((Yikies.. I went back and counted the results.. I took down 650 hollow if I'm not mistaken. eek Guess that kinda makes up for my brief absence.. ))

((Dramatic final scene, for the sake of the drama.))
Kiisho felt the pressure of the fight lift away from his mind and his vision returned to normal for the first time in what had seemed like days of fighting. He fell to his knees, allowing his zanpakutou to slip quietly out of his hand. His head rolled back, and he let out a deep breath, taking in the quiet.
The pain in his shoulder spasmed, and he let out a cry, grasping at the seal and falling forward.
The battle had cost a great deal.

((I'm really sorry. I'm rusty, hopfully has we go on I will get better.))
In the sky above the squad five training area appeared portal. Coming out the portal was Meluk Sorah, Raven, and old friend of Yamato's. The young Raven was very rusty and needed a challenge to get him back into the game while Ky was gone. Meluk quickly spot a small tree about height of 6'2.
"While I'm just waiting on him," Meluk said a bored tone of voice.
