It could easily be seen that Foust felt an array of emotions upon being asked to spar. It was a natural reaction, especially when the person asking you to spar is the Vice Captain of the Squad. Even Kaisho would be juttering nervously at such a request, if not for being the owner of that prestigious title. It suddenly occurred to Kaisho that, in all his excitement, Foust had forgotten the question he was asked prior to them preparing to spar. "Foust, do you remember that I asked you something?" Kaisho laughed, effectively asking him the question again.

Being asked the same question again made Foust feel weird inside. Though there was a specific reason he did not answer it. He was actually trying to avoid it the question. This was because he didn't really have any skills he had learned. Taekwondo was the only thing he had learned. Other then that, he just had the basic kidos one through ten, but everyone knew them. That was why Foust trying to avoid the question by getting in his fighting stance, and preparing for battle. Obviously, it didn't work. Still, Foust didn't want to tell his current skills. He was afraid the vice captain would look down on him for not knowing anything else. Someting like that would make Foust feel uneasy.
Before Foust answered Kaisho's question, a question of his own formed into his head. Why was the vice captain wanting to know his skills? Foust started to talk with his average voice saying,"Well you see, aside from the standard kidos one to ten, I only know Taekwondo. Sorry if you were hoping for something more." Saying this made Foust feel sort of sad, since he didn't have any other skills to say.
Foust still stood in the same stance the whole time, for he wasn't going to make things easy for the vice captain. Still, Foust knew Kaisho had more of an advantage, since he was vice captain. The least Foust could do was show off what he had learned. Foust put his heart and soul into training. Now Kaisho was going to be the first to see how much Foust has improved. Thinking this, he still waited for Kaisho to make his move. After all, it was Foust's way of showing respect by letting the opponent start things off.

Kuma watched as the two spoke, waiting patiently for the action to begin. Kuma wondered who would win, who would fight hardest and even if one would lose it and go all out - This was not expected though since both should be in control of their temper at their ranks - His interest grew more by the second. Adjusting his hat again and moving to a more comfortable position on the rock he lifted one leg up, resting his chin upon his knee and his arm around his leg and down to his foot. Keeping his zanpakto held in his hand resting against his foot he sipped another drink with his free hand. The warm soothing taste filled his mouth if only for a second, he could feel it creeping down his throat and it satisfied he thirst, he did not drink to get drunk, but would simply drink because of the taste. In actual fact Kuma hated being drunk as he always felt like he wasn't in control of himself, he just sat by and watched. However, after many years of drinking it would cost a small fortune to get him drunk.

Despite the outwardly miniscule amount of surprise he showed in a simple raise of his brow, Kaisho was profoundly stunned. Granted, they were in a squad where hand to hand combat was at the forefront of their mind, and was important for them to learn everything they could about improving their Hakuda. But still, for Foust to have only learned Taekwondo was a shock, he would have expected him to have tried other training. Just then Kaisho thought back to why he had asked, and his expression changed from a slight frown to a humble smile. “Well, just Taekwondo aye?” Kaisho said light-heartedly, “I was expecting you to have learned more than just Taekwondo, as the ex-fourth and Sadon had done so... but I guess that’s all fine. Especially if you think that for the time I have been around this squad, aside from Shikai, I haven’t learned anything new.”
Kaisho looked at the two Shinigami, awaiting their initial reaction. He could almost certainly presume what they would think or ask next. “That includes not learning a fighting style, either.” he added with a sheepish laugh. He turned back to Kuma, who he had been speaking with before Foust had arrived on the scene, and softened his eyes. “Kuma, you remember our conversation from moments ago, right? Well... what was my last remark?”

Foust stood in the same stance, and in the same spot for the conversation. No one made a move yet, and they were both in fighting stances. This made Foust confused for a moment as he thought about it. Usually, once two opponents got into fighting stances, they would be fighting. So far Foust did have to do anything. Still, he was going to drop his guard, just in case Kaisho would try to pull a fast one.
With a lttle thought, Foust decided to relax somewhat. He didn't change his stance or anything of the sort, but just relax his muscles while in the stance. He figured if they were going to talk right now, then he shouldn't have to be so tense. Foust thought," So far this fight has been easy." He thought this with some irony, since they hadn't even fought yet, but they were supposed to. Thinking this made Foust giggle a little outloud.
After giggling Foust paid attention to the two, to see what was said next. He looked back and forth, from Kaisho to Kuma, wondering who would talk next. Foust didn't know what to expect to happen next. Would they continue talking? Would the vice captain make a move? Would Foust actually lose focus for a split second, and then get attacked by the vice captain? Even Kuma could have jumped in out of nowhere. This made Foust get back to his stance without relaxing anymore. Now he was paranoid.

Kuma looked over to Kaisho as he spoke to him. "I understand what you mean, but obviously you are strong enough with shikai alone to be a vice captain, for all we know you probably have your own fighting style anyway" He grinned to Kaisho as he felt slightly more comfortable knowing not everyone had a number of fighting styles aswell as shikai and more. On the other hand Kuma was even more curious now as to the fight ahead, how would Kaisho fight? It was obvious that Foust was getting bored of waiting, however this simply lead Kuma to think 'Good things come to those who wait'
Deciding to stand to watch the fight Kuma dropped his leg down, stood and shifted his hat. He glanced again to Kaisho "Thank you for all your words of advice" He smiled to Kaisho and nodded slightly before turning to Foust. "This is going to be fun, just watch out for any surprises" Kuma shouted this out before he stretched a little and folded his arms.

{{ Man, I'm slow today, you beat me to the punch Foust. I was going to say something about it after I finished my RP post.}} Satisfied that he had made somewhat of a point about himself, and that there were members of the squad with more knowledge of skills than himself, Kaisho decided to cut the chatter. Sure, Kaisho did not have as much knowledge of Kido or a fighting style, but he knew something deep inside. He knew that compared to the others, he had a greater amount of ability, intellect, experience and most importantly, resolve. His modesty would never let him say it, but Kaisho was well aware that those four points were what set him apart from the rest of the seated members in Squad Seven. However, he understood that in order to keep it that way, he had to remain true to himself and not let his emotions stray him from his path. He had already seen, first-hand, one person in the squad lose sight of who they use to be because of that very reason. And he hoped that it would be the last.
“Alright, well I think I have spent too much time talking.” Kaisho smirked, noticing Foust getting rather restless. Kaisho remained calm and loose in his stance, which had remained the same throughout. Bringing his right arm up to chest height, he stretched it out as he twisted it roughly thirty degrees clockwise. His elbow cracked loudly as he did so, relieving the stiffness he noticed within the joint. Instead of bringing the hand back down or performing a major movement, Kaisho held it aloft, slightly bending the elbow. He cracked his left elbow using the same stretching motion as before, although he kept his left arm by his side as he did so. “Get ready, Foust, here I come.” Kaisho added, and that he did.
Kaisho’s leading right foot lunged forward, lengthening his stance, lowering his body whilst covering some distance bewteen both him and Foust. His right hand opened wide and his fingers pressed tightly together, thrusting his hand at Foust in a spine position after quickly pulling back it a few inches first. Ordinarily, Kaisho would have used such an attack to strike the area of the chest just under the ribcage, but unfortunately Foust was positioned at an angle. Instead, Kaisho aimed his thrust at the lower ribs, specifically the last two ribs and the area of flesh just millimetres lower down.
{{ So darn tired it's unreal, I just hope it hasn't affected my RPing. }}

Kuma stood silently, not moving an inch as he watched Kaisho prepare to move. 'This is it!' He thought to himself, his heart slightly lifted in pace as Kaisho shifted forward, going straight for a blow to the lower chest region, Kuma tried to analyse the attack as it happened. He watched with a passion, waiting for Foust to see what he would do. All of this happening in a matter of seconds at the most. Raising one hand to his chin he held it there as he thought to himself about the ways he would react in this situation, the moves he would make, what he would need to watch out for and even how far ahead he would need to think. Now was the time for Foust to show his abilities.

Foust opened up his eyes even more, for he was surprised. He thought Kaisho was going to talk a little more, before attacking. Foust stood firmly in his stnce getting ready for the attack. As his opponent came close saying what seemd like a warning. Foust couldn't help himself to say," Bring it on vice captain!" Noticing Kaisho was using his right hand, Foust instantly assumed it to be the stronger arm. He was taught to abserve his opponent while fighting, and Foust was trying his best to do just that. Although this wasn't something he was good at, but definately something to try learning in battle.
Kaisho's right hand got close, but Foust wasn't going to let that hit him. When the right hand came close enough, Foust slid his left foot further to the left, turned it to point at Kaisho, and then slid his other foot around about two feet behind the left. Now Foust was facing Kaisho on his right. At this moment, Foust started to see his Taekwondo Master in the place of Kaisho. Foust blinked and everything was back to normal. It was like he imagined his master just for a second, but thankfully not longer. At the moment he didn't know what to think of it, but wasn't going to worry about it now.
Foust turned his left foot slight to the left pointing away from Kaisho, and started to lean his weight on to his left foot. He quickly turned his upper body to the left in a fast motion. Then, he brought up his right knee upward to chest level as he turned his body, and extended the rest of the leg outward. This was a side kick, and was fast and furious. Since Foust turned his body like he did, it gave his kick a little more umph to it. Normally he would have aimed for someone's ribs with this kick, but that was hard givn Kaisho's current position. Foust's kick was going to Kaisho's stomach a a fast pace. Since his right arm was extended out ward from his attack, it prevented some of Foust's kicks to the upper body. Still Foust was able to find a way.
((Please excuse any errors. This is my irst fight since I have ben back, and am still getting used to things again.))

{{ What did you mean by "facing Kaisho on his right."? That could mean either Kaisho's right hand side, or Foust's. }}

Sadon followed the path around the corner and down to the training area where he could hear fighting. Smiling, Sadon began to run until he reached the clearing and seen the fighters going at it.
It was the Vice Captain and members of his squad engaged in hand-to-hand fighting. Smiling again, Sadon made his way closer and took a seat under one of the giant trees that surrounded the training area. This was a great chance for Sadon to watch his fellow team members fight and to pick out their weaknesses. He would later write them down in his notebook and study them for some time before challenging one of them to a fight. Smiling, Sadon remembered the lesson he learned from his Tae-Kwon-Do master about studying his enemies before taking action. His masters words echoing in his head seem like yesterday.
Sadon took a red apple out of his small bag and took a bite of it while watching the fight .....

{{ It's okay. }} Kaisho nearly hit the mark with his initial strike, an attack which would have certainly plunged into a soft area of Foust's body. However, Foust's reactions were good, and he managed to strafe to the right of Kaisho in order to attack. As Kaisho traced Foust's movement and saw the leg begin to rise, the Vice Captain shifted his weight back onto his left foot and allowed his right one to slide as his stance rose. Kaisho had begun moving his right arm in an arc to parry the kick, which aimed for his stomach at that point.
After parrying the blow away from his stomach, Kaisho planted his right foot down and pushed off it again, leaping sideward in the thought that Foust might side kick him again after his knee had recoiled. This made some space for Kaisho to attack again, and this time he decided to add a chain of attacks to keep Foust busy. Kaisho kept his right hand held open and his fingers pressed together, but this time his initial attack was different.
Kaisho began with a sweeping chop to the right of Foust's body, aiming for the lower ribs as he swung. He then performed a thrust, aiming his attack into the area between the right deltoid and the right pectoral muscle. Next, he performed another chopping motion at Foust's left clavicle after pulling his arm back across his body before swinging, and followed with another thrust to Foust's midesection. He was testing Foust on a number of critical elements, to see whether or not he was not only a skilled fighter, but a perceptive one.

Kuma watched as the attacks left from one opponent to the defence of the opposite, the flow was inspiring as there had barely been time between the moves. Kuma had also noticed the foot work of both fighters and the styles they used, taking in the information for later knowledge. The fight had just begun yet the intensity was already building as they tested one another. Taking another drink Kuma slowly moved around the invisible arena the two battled within. seeing it from different angles really allowed for a more overall understanding of the scene.
Glancing to the distance in which Kuma was sure he felt something Kuma noticed someone, a slight feeling that must have been their reiatsu caught his eye. Kuma was never good at sensing reiatsu but he was sure that it was someone watching from the side. As he paid more attention he noticed it was a fellow member of the 7th squad, he had recognised him from descriptions he had heard around the barracks yet wasn't sure as to who it was. Checking his sheathed zanpakto he began to walk over to him as he glanced back occassionally at the fighting.
