"Nice to meet you, Victoria. I'm FD." The dragon stuck his hand out to shake hers, something humans did to when meeting new people. "Between your healing and Kaoru's playing, I'm sure we'll be fine. But do you think it best to approah that massive monster near the Manor?" He noted Nils' fear, not wanting to put the bard in danger, nor himself, unless they knew what they were doing.

"Not directly, of course." Victoria replied to the Fire Dragon, pleased to have his name and acquaintance. "I believe that if it sees us, our defeat is certain... no, my Divine must strike it from behind. The creature has a head, so if I take it off, it should fall."

Shento looked at her, even more confusedly. Her name wasn't Katalis...? But.. it had to be her. There was no mistaking her. The hair... the eyes... the face... it all belonged to his Katalis. There had to be an explanation. There just had to be... and that's when he had it. It was obvious...
"You... changed name?"
The audience facepalmed.

"Ok..." Melethia thought, "Just go with the flow Melethia and he might not hit you with an arrow."
"Yeah..." She answered, "I did. So why are you here?"

Mysterious Shadowy Figure

The eyes behind the darkness sighed softly. "Wonderful effort, my dear Mika," said Loki, watching from afar, "And I love the chaos, but perhaps a little more restraint next time?" She couldn't hear him, but one talks to oneself a lot when one's only regular company is a statue of a druid. "Can't have your new pet wearing out the heroes so they can't fight the enemy, hmm?" He had no doubt that the Nine Heroes could fell that beast, but it would certainly leave them in poor condition afterward.
He waved his hand and the beast melted into its own shadow, which poured back into Mika. "There we are... I'll have to call that beast out later, though, very well done..."

FD wasn't sure what their plan against a GIGANTIC DARKNESS MONSTER was going to be, but it looked like they wouldn't need one anymore, as the beast ominously melted away. All the same, the darkness it was composed of oozed its way back into FEFGA's house - which indicated there was something potentially dangerous in the manor. "Well then... why don't we make our way to that forest and figure out what we're going to do." FD pointed. It was large enough that they could hide themselves, and close enough to see what what was happening.

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello raised a brow as the monster melted away and oozed back into Mika, but he wasn't one to question good fortune. He reached back to take Rhys and Amelia again, standing. "Are you two alright? Good. Now, you two had best go inside and sit tight until we figure out what to do with you," he murmured, moving around behind them and pushing them gently along toward the house. "Don't worry, I'm sure there will be someone to talk to, you won't be bored," he added conversationally, as though boredom was the worst of their fears just then.
Once he led them to the front door, he took them in and sat them on the couch, waiting for someone to come in and watch them before he stepped back out into the sunlight.
He'd spent enough time inside recently. Besides, if people were coming this way, maybe he could get something out of it...

<[ – K Y Ř O Ş – ]> o[-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------]o -...I can change your life, rest assured...- "I have seen love in vain..." "...I have felt the pain..." Chaos ensued around him. The manor they'd been summoned to conquer had attacked back, in a fierce battle with the dark girl. He'd thought he'd seen it all: uproarious fighters, manipulative children, people driven to madness... but an attacking house? No memories of that happening before. And even stranger, Shento sprinted off into the woods after firing an arrow. Maybe he found some prey, but he was going especially fast, a bit of urgency in his step. Castello had kept young Amelia and her little friend from harm, thank goodness. Teifi would have been inconsolable should anything happen to the kid.
And just like that, the dark girl conjured a mass of energy, an entity which quickly subdued the... angry house. As the final blow was struck, she collapsed, the spell probably taking quite the toll on her. Without hesitation, Kyros rushed over to the girl, picking her up and moving towards the entrance.
"Kids, hurry up inside, now," he chimed, smile back on his face. "It's getting a bit chilly, and I don't want any of you to catch a cold!" As he finished his little beckoning, he slipped into the door, having to turn sideways so the spikes on his armor would fit through the door. Sparing the couple of Amelia and Rhys a passing glance, and a cheery smile, he bounded up the stairs, nearly kicking the first door down to give Mika a place to rest. Once the girl was peacefully on the bed, he headed out of the room, quietly closing the door behind himself. As he limberly hopped down the stairs, he bounded into the kitchen, eager to see what various foodstuffs lie in wait. "...Torn by desire..." "...Lead by the fire..." (I know what it means to burn.) o[-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------]o <[ – S A V O R • T H E • M O M E N T – ]>

Amelia couldn't make sense of what was going on. The manor had fought back against the attack on it (Had to have been Fefga, no one else here is capable of such power, and Ashera's might isn't focused on this house...), but now the light had vanished and the beast, previously grinning at everyone like they were all nice snacks, melted out of sight. Amelia had offered herself one long breath out, relieved to see safety come a little closer, before Castello grabbed her shirt collar again.
"Let go of me!" she yelped instinctively, stumbling one step forward when he easily let go of her, only to move behind her and guide her gently but firmly into the house.
"Don't worry, I'm sure there will be someone to talk to, you won't be bored," he added before putting them down on the couch. Amelia glared at him, rubbing her hands against her knees, smoothing down her skirt. She pulled a plant sticker off of the place where it had snagged into the white fabric. She paid no heed to the passing Kyros, Mika (Why, Mika?) cradled carefully in his arms.
"You all shouldn't even be here. Or helping Loki. He's not anyone you should ally yourself with." Amelia gripped her hands in her lap, then relaxed them. She cast her eyes up to Castello, her gaze hard and searching. "Why are you even doing this? I thought you all were good people..."

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello glanced back at Amelia, cocking a brow. "You know, on some level I'd like to find that out myself. I'm sure I will, and I'm sure I have a good reason," he added, then smiled and waved. "Ta," he called before closing the door on his way out into the sunlight. He kicked off the front stoop and shot into the air, flapping his wings until he managed to catch the rising hot air off the roof of the mansion and he swept into the sky, casting his eyes over the landscape and searching for these people he'd heard were coming toward the mansion.
They all seemed nice, he thought, and it would be a shame to have to kill them. But until he knew why he was taking hostages, he couldn't go letting people take them back. Could be important.

Isadora raced through the forest as fast as her horse could go. The anger mixed with determination were blazing in her eyes as she dodged the trees and bushes to reach FEFGA's manor.
She wasn't sure how she would take down the beast. However, what she knew was that she would not allow any destruction to come. As she raced toward FEFGA's house, she noticed something odd.
The beast..... It was melting. As if the ice was melting in the hot summer day. What is going on? Isadora thought confusingly. She wasn't sure how it happened. But whatever did it, the monster must be gone for now.
Even though it was gone, she had to get to FEFGA's manor to see if everything was okay. She reached into the clearing. So far, the manor was little worse than it was before.... But still it was in good condition.
Just as she was about to jump out of her horse and into FEFGA's house, she felt a presence nearby. A presence unfamiliar to her. And it came from inside the manor too. Armed with her sword and shield, Isadora waited. She wasn't going to rush into a battle so quickly. After all, those who rushed in, fell.
Before she could get off her horse, she felt another presence. But the presence.... It was moving in different direction. The paladin looked around the area to see who it was. So far, there was no one in sight. The presence was going in random direction, but there was no one there.
Unsure what it was, Isadora thought it might be better to address it, whether it was from the manor or out of nowhere. She wore the look of authority as Isadora shouted. "Okay whoever you are! Come out and state your name and business! I do not wish to fight with you. But if you have any business to go with this manor, then please leave. This manor is no concern of yours. But if refuse to do so, then I have to force the law against you."

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤The scythe blades created by Fefga that had been aimed and fired at Jyoti and Misura had missed completely, the valkyrie maneuvering Victory out of the line of fire. "Things certainly got... interesting rather quickly..." She said aloud, not really talking to anyone in particular. Her hand was still resting right on her tome, not sure exactly when to use it. The house seemed to be fighting back, but the little girl seemed to be taking care of the situation quite well... though she did faint after summoning the creature that eventually tore down the protective shield. Hm.
Jyoti gave a slight nod to Kyros, wondering for a moment where exactly she should leave Victory. After a few moments, she realized that she didn’t really care. She carefully dismounted from her horse, lingering for a moment to make sure that Misura didn’t have any issues getting down. Satisfied that her friend was off, she made her way to the doorway but hesitated when she heard a voice call out with authority. She groaned softly, casting a glance at the manor. A couple more steps, and then she would have been inside... She wasn't really up to having a fight with someone, especially since her first impression of the people here was a good one. They were nice people, really! Jyoti saw no need for unnecessary bloodshed.
However, I don't even know what to say... She remained silent, her hand resting against her light tome, ready to open and use it at any given moment.
As much as she didn't want to use Antaram, Jyoti would if she had to.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

"Oh jeez...this isn't good." Looking around and seeing all of the fighting and destruction, yet also the ancient heroes. "If they are back then that means...oh god that can't be good."

Rhys wasn't enjoying this, either--being grabbed and dragged around like a rag doll and literally placed under house arrest wasn't his idea of an afternoon well-spent.
"Not to mention the person they're aiding," Rhys added darkly. "When I came back here, I found out Rei was gone. The one who took him away was Mika, too." Possibly into Loki's hands, he added in his thoughts.
