"Interesting, I hope to be able to do that with my powers someday through what is referred to as 'umbrakinesis,'" Pallas says. "I believe that it would be your turn to ask a question, or do you have and idea for a topic for us to converse on?" The nervousness of talking is almost gone, and let's hope the fact that he is a guy with a cute girl doesn't kick in, for this would be his first conversation of this kind ever, will it end in friendship, or with an unconscious Pallas, only time will tell.

"Well...tell me about yourself.' Butterfly answered.
The shadow slowly heading back down to the table sinking into and becoming 2D once more. Returning to its rightful place as the books shadow then she would turn her attention back to Pallas. It had been a while since she had simply sat down and talked usually she always round up walking away or hitting someone. She hoped this wouldn't be the same case here.

"There isn't much to tell. I have spent most of my life alone studying and training my powers. If I had known how interesting talking was, I would of tried it sooner." Pallas says. His nervousness is gone, and he realizes that he has been talking to a cute girl without much stuttering or cheesy pickup line, luckily, he had see enough web-comic to know that was a good thing. He wasn't sure if girls could use the 'Hammer' in real life.*

"Hmm..I'm guessing that you are an only child, yes?" Butterfly asks.
She was thankful that the man was no longer nervous it made her relax some as she leaned back in her chair a bit. She would have to start speaking up soon it was rude to only have on speak while the other did nothing but listen. But, her background was a bit of touchy subject with her which was why she never really spoke about herself. But, she could give just a little bit here and there without letting Pallas know exactly everything.
"I'm the eldest sibling in my family but only by a few minutes my twin was born second.' Butterfly remarked. "I had spent most of my time with my sister and singing.'

"Yes, I am an only child," Pallas says, "I don't know about you, but I am hungry. I wonder if the cafeteria has chupaquesos?" He stands up from his chair and motions in the direction of the Library exit, in hope that he can continue talking with Butterfly, the person he can call his first friend at Ria and, well, ever.

Butterfly arched her right eyebrow not understanding that last word at all. Seeing the gesture she would get up and snatch up the book pushing her seat back in smoothly and come up beside him heading for the exit with him. Again hugging the book to his chest as she walked.
"Well, its suppose to have anything and everything when it comes to food.' She answered. "it may have those........things you were wondering about.'

"A chupaqueso is melted cheese within a shell of fried cheese. With bacon it is call a chupaqueso con tocino." Pallas explains as he walks next to Butterfly. "It is the official food of 31th century space mercenaries." He notices the book, finally, "What book do you have there?" he asks.

Butterfly frowned at the description of the food item he was hoping the dining hall had. 'Sounds fattening.'
Butterfly was one of those people that kept an eye on what they ate. But, lately she hadn't been eating much and she needed to get out of the habit of that so she wouldn't be a walking skeleton upon campus. She blinked at first when he mentioned the book and gazed down at it.
"I don't know. It looks like the one I own so I thought i would check it out. I'm hoping its one of those ancient Black Books that contains spells and such.' Butterfly answered.

"Maybe I can check it out. I cannot use magic, but I have... dabbled in old forgotten languages and I maybe able to find out what it is." Pallas says as he looks at the book in her arms, then at her face, trying to make it look like he wasn't looking at her... upper body area, which he wasn't, but he has learned that an angry girl is as bad thing through web-comics.

"Nah, its alright. I'm pretty good and deciphering languages and such. I probably spend as much time studing as I do training.' Butterfly answered.
Not paying attention to what Pallas was doing and such things didn't bother her when people stared at her in such manners. She put her hand up against the door and lightly pushed it open letting the cool air come caressing against them as it snuck into the building. Stepping outside she held the door open for him as she waited.

Pallas exits the door that twas opened by his friend, "Thank you," He said. "Well, if you do need any help with reading ancient texts, I should be able to help you." Pallas says as he fights to not look away from Butterfly's face. His mind wants to make up for lost time of him not being near girls much for years.

Butterfly let the door close itself after Pallas came outside to stand infront of the library with her. The dinning hall was not too far away they could make it easily in no time at all. Her steps were graceful as she walked down the stone steps that led down from the library to the little walk way down below.
"I'll keep that in mind the next time I run into a problem." She spoke softly.

Cadmus had entered this section of the school in hopes of finding something interesting. His eagerness was only matched by the dust from old manuscripts that had been long past their prime. He was rather entralled that he had wasted his energy to find some useless symbols on processed trees.
He cursed in the language known only to dragoons. His feet wished to walk no more se he took residence in one of the old oak chairs. His hand could not help but marvel at the craftman ship of them. His back wailed joyously as it's soft but firm structure was it's support. To a normal person, this chair might not be enough to put you into an instant slumber, but for his body reconized true beauty, and comfort so he had naturally begun the battle with the sandman. "Curse these chairs" he said as his vision slipped from the graps of his eyes, and the sandman rapped his arms around his bossum, to carry him off to the world of dreams.
Little did Cadmus know that he would fall on the road, and be sumbered in the river of nightmares.

((If your next post isn't, mine'll be in the dining hall))
Pallas was having more trouble not being perverse then most guys, but he focuses and his mind overcome temptation. "What are you going to get once we get to the cafeteria?" He asked. "If you want, I could get us there faster via levitation." He also asks, but the questions then stop, not wanting to overload Butterfly with questions.

Cadmus had fallen into a dark pit. Not like he was unused to it for he learned much discipline from it. He witnessed the opeing of a door and lundged for the portal out of this dream realm, only to find himself projected at his grandfathers grave. A basilsk had been scavenging the remains of his grandfather. His grandfathers ghost was doing battle with the creature. "My flesh shall not be wrench from my bones as your teeth makes them paste. My eye's shall not see your throat and my tounge not taste your intestines" his grandfathers ghost screamed at the beast.
