Amillia Von Kurtsch went through the front door and closed it hastily, her hair and clothes drenched in water. She fixed her red blouse and pulled her black hair back. "H-hello." She fixed her thick-rimmed glasses in place. "It was raining and I- Can I stay here for a little while?" She said with a menacing smile. "I won't be any trouble."

Suna_Kitty Suna_Kitty sweet kelly1 Cyril led her through a series of winding hallways before they came to a small courtyard bordered on three sides with graves, and a small, but ornate, chapel crawling with ivy at the far end. "Wow, this looks nice." Steph looked at the outside of the chapel with amazement. Cyril smiled, quietly pleased that his property impressed her. "Originally this church was not part of the grounds. However, as past members of the family expanded the main building, it gradually became known as our property. Funny how that works." He motioned at the graveyard. "And every one of them is a member of our family. We are born here... and then we come back to be buried. Though nearly abandoned, this place is still a vital part of our heritage." "Very interesting!" Steph gave a a quiet sigh, This reminds me so much of home. "When was this chapel built?"

Ayame-Yuura Amillia Von Kurtsch went through the front door and closed it hastily, her hair and clothes drenched in water. She fixed her red blouse and pulled her black hair back. "H-hello." She fixed her thick-rimmed glasses in place. "It was raining and I- Can I stay here for a little while?" She said with a menacing smile. "I won't be any trouble." Unfortunately, there was no one in the foyer as Cyril, the master, had taken a walk to the chapel with Steph, and Richard was cleaning with Lia in the hidden passage.
However, a note fluttered to the floor.
It read:
Be welcome. Choose your own room, but do not venture into the tower.

"I believe it was towards the end of the twelfth century." He finally answered. "The chapel is much, much older than anything else on the grounds." He started to walk towards it. "Would you like to see inside?"

KatNite Lia's skin was very pale and her eyes red and she looked around "Its so pretty" she said softly and smiled and started to clean some spider webbs up and clean "Y-y-yes," Richard stuttered. "Cyril r-really has excellent t-t-t-taste." Splitting the work between them, the room was cleaned much faster than Richard could have done on his own. He finished smoothing out the bedcovers and turned to Lia. "S-s-shall we clean your room... n-n-next..." He voice trailed off as he noticed the red gleam in Lia's eyes, and the porcelain color of her skin. He backed away slowly, towards the door.

"Would you like to see inside?" "I would love to see the inside." Cyril escorted her across the courtyard, rain only falling lightly by this time. He pushed open the heavy stone door and it swung out quietly and smoothly on well-oiled hinges. "I see Richard has been doing some work on it." He commented softly, eyebrows raised. The room they entered was spacious and high ceilinged. Crumbling statues of saints stood in thier niches, solemn faces staring peacefully. The cushions on the stone pews were clean, the altar dustless, with dozens of flickering candles lit in offering. Only a few of the windows were clear, though, moonlight barely filtering through the dark panes. "My, my." Cyril murmured. "Indeed he has been busy. I shall have to reward him."

sweet kelly1 "It looks lovely!" Steph's jaw dropped by the beauty of the chapel. Cyril felt as though a warmth settled in his chest as familial pride filled him. "Yes," He said, the warmth leaking out into his voice. "Richard really outdid himself." He paced slowly down the aisle, letting go of Steph's arm to stand before the altar and stare up at the large cross suspended there. "This place, though.. has a tragic history. In this very spot, a young bride was murdered by her own kin that hid themselves in the rafters. And when the manor was attacked in the sixteenth century by invaders, we hid ourselves here as the main house was burnt to ashes. Mothers wept... sons fell..." His voice trailed off as he fell into a silent meditation.

"Cyril always stopped t-them, but..."

Richard, looking at the floor, nodded, and exited the room with her.
He motioned for her to follow him.
"T-t-this passage goes almost all a-around this place. It w-w-w-would be quicker if we took t-this to your r-room."
