Aria thought for a moment, looking at her paw, tapping the water lightly. She looked up at Jasper, grinned, looked back down at her paw, quickly brought it up and back down on the water with a loud smack, sending a splash right at Jasper. Without waiting to see if it hit him or not, Aria swam away as fast as she could... which wasn't all too fast yet, but she had endurance.
Asher smiled happily at her response. "I'll be sure to take that offer, my love," he said to her, getting quite bold. He released her paw and sat down close to her, watching the kits splash each other in the water, still smiling.

Jasper was lost looking at Aria, watching her think. He didn't even notice when she brought her paw down that the splash was directed at him " Yay! You dimghkst!" In the midst of congratulating her the splash hit him full on in the face, causing the rest of what he said to be lost. Looking stunned for a moment, he saw her swimming away, and took off after her just as fast as his paws could carry him. And with the amount of running he did his paws carried him at quite the nice clip.
Nastara turned to watch the kits as well, still smiling to herself. At his words she turned suddenly back towards him. "Excuse me Asher, did I hear you correctly? I belive you just refered me as your love. I must be mistaken, because in order to be someones "love" that person must have professed said love, and despite the fact that I've gotten lost in your eyes several times today, I know I didn't miss that!" Nastara's eyes were sparkling a bit mischeviously as she spoke, letting Asher know that she wasn't really upset, more teasing.

Aria continued to swim, giggling, knowing he was gaining on her. She figured her best bet was to drop under water and paw at his leg, so she tried it.
Asher blushed a bit, not having expected that response. "Really? Lost in my eyes..." His thoughts trailed off yet again before he quickly got back on topic. "Well, err..." he started to stumble with his words. "We, uh, we did say earlier that we were interested in eachother... and, honestly, you're the most wonderful female I've ever met, and you have beauty to top it... so, I... I... I... I am quite taken with you, you know." He was having a hard time looking her in the eye. He didn't like it much when he knew he was having a difficult time organizing his thoughts, and at this point his thoughts were definitely all over the board.

Jasper tried to swim faster, when he felt something on his leg. He let out a very undignifed squeal and started flailing a bit. " EEEEPPPS! I felt something in the water, it has my leg!" Quickly he ducked his head under water and caught a glimps of white and black before surfacing! " Nice one Aria!" he called out.
Nastara watched Asher trip all over himself trying to speak. It was so endearing how he went from smooth to tongue tied in an instant. Even if he couldn't say the words, what he did say, and more importaintly how he said it told her what she needed to know. The gentlemanly male Illumen was truly in love with her. His compliments made her blush, but she'd decided that now was not the time to be embarassed and shy, she had something importaint to say. She shifted her weight so she could better look at Asher, but still say close. "Asher, I'm quite taken with you as well, you are handsome, sweet, gentlemanly, and caring. You have the most amazing eyes I've ever seen...." She leaned in a bit, putting her muzzle closer to his ear so she could softly whisper "....and I think I'm falling in love with you"

Coming up above the water just a few feet away from Jasper, Aria broke out laughing. "Y-you... should have... seen... your... f-face!" she managed to exclaim amidst her giggles.
Asher had continued to stare at the ground, but he peeked up a little when she menetioned him as handsome and sweet. His head quickly went back down at her last comment, but it was almost immediately back up so he could see her better. "You're... not joking, right?" He didn't want to be taken a fool. But looking at her eyes, he figured he could be pretty sure she wasn't. He took her paw in his once again, and flashed a brilliant smile at her. "Nastara, I'm ecstatic to hear that!" He was grinning stupidly, over-joyed and giddy. He pulled her into {{a hug/an embrace}} before replying, "I'm finding myself to be falling in love with you, too. I never really thought I'd get the chance to say that... to anyone, let alone to someone as amazing as you." He beamed happily at her.

Aria's giggles were catching, Jasper couldn't help but giggle a bit too. " Did you hear me squeal? I didn't know I could make a sound like that!" He half-heartedly splashed at Aria. " That was a good trick!"
Nastara blushed to hear his reply, and {hug/embraced} him as well. "Thank you my Knight" She smiled slightly at him as she spoke, her eyes dancing. " I never thought myself to be worthy of such affections from someone as wondeful as you are Asher!" She laid down in the cool grass, staying near enough to Asher that she could still feel the heat from his body and laid her head to rest on her paws, watching the kits " Looks like those two are having a grand time!"

Aria beamed. "Thanks! And yes, that was amusing!!" She was still giggling as he splashed at her. What now?
Asher chuckled lightly at being called a knight. "If only I were that noble. It would be a nice title to have. And you are way more than worthy." He laid down beside her before replying, "That it does, but I can highly doubt that they are as happy as I am right now."

Jasper eyed Aria, then shifted to eye the adult Illumens on the bank. " Hmm, they are both looking wayyy too dry over there. You don't have a problem swimming under water right? Of course not, you did it to scare me!" He chuckled. " Another way to make a good splash is to duck underwater, and let your backside float up, then kick your hind paws just below the surface of the water." Jasper turned away from her so she wouldn't get splashed while he demonstrated. Comming up he shook the water from his face and said " See what I mean? I say we swim over there and get the adults wet! Are you with me?"
Nastara shifted her weight again, so she was leaning slightly against Asher. She sighed softly, " This is indeed quite nice. Thank you for comming over earlier today Asher, I've had a wonderful time."

Aria grinned mischieviously, nodding. "Sounds good... so do we swim under water and do the splash you just explained? They look semi-distracted... I hope they don't notice it coming."
Kicking the urge to kiss her forehead, Asher replied, "No, thank you for inviting me in! I had just been sitting by a pond for hours, not knowing how to contact you. I've had a marvelous time as well, and I'm very glad we got this chance."

Jasper nodded " Yep we just swim over that way, but we need to make a little bit of noise, if we go to quite they'll look up. Once we get over there I'll signal and we'll spin in the water, duck under and kick!" Jasper began swimming back towards the adults " This is so much fun Aria!" He called out, somewhat softly before he laughed. He checked over his shoulder once to make sure she was following. He swam as close as he dared towards the adults, getting to where his paws just brushed the river bottom. " Come on Aria!" He called softly and turned his back to the adults and waited till she did the same " One, Two, Three, SOAK EM!" He hollered and ducked under the water, kicking his back legs as hard as he could.
Nastara couldn't help herself, she turned again to gaze into Asher's eyes. "Aww, thats so cute! I myself was running to the door every so often, and at the slightest sound, hoping you'd come by. Emerald had me make the lemonade and cookies to keep me from ' wearing a hole in the floor ' " She laughed a bit. Just when she'd decided she couldn't resist his smile any longer Nastara slowly leaned in, intending to kiss his cheek. She half heard Jasper call out right before she got drenched in a splash wave " Eeeehhhhhhhyyyyaaa!" she squealed, ducking her head to the ground and under her paws.

Aria, having some trouble stifling her giggles, followed Jasper and made the biggest splash she could after he counted off. She laughed while floating on the water and gave Jasper a high-five {{High-four? xD}}. "Nice!"
Asher laughed heartily at the kits' splash. Looking to Nastara, he said, "'Scuse me, Nastara," before he ran off into the water after the kits, jumping as high as he could to try to make a large splash to hit them. He chased after the two, going after Aria first since he knew she'd be the easiest target.
Aria had been still laughing when Asher had jumped in, and was covered by the wave. Trying to get away from him, she swam towards Jasper in attempts/hopes to hide behind him.

Jasper came up laughing, and gave Aria a paw up high, matching her smile. " That was sweet!" He heard the splash behind him " Uh oh!" he said before the wave crested over his head. As he went under he gave Aria a gentle push in the opposite direction of Asher. Turning around he dove down, trying to get under Asher and catch one of his paws as Aria previously did to him.
At Asher's words Nastara dared to look up, looking very like a drowned dog, her roses dripping water and her hair plastered to her head. " Get 'em Asher!" she called playfully.

Asher couldn't tell what Jasper was doing until it was too late. He should have figured, since he had taught Aria that trick and she had already used it on Jasper that day. He went under when Jasper got his foot and swept across the water widely with his paws, trying to get a hold of Jasper to bring him up and tickle him.

In the midst of his triumph at pulling Asher under, Jasper felt a big paw catch him across the midsection and pull him up towards the surface. He tried to squirm out of his grasp, making sure to not kick too hard, but it was no use, the older male had him dead to rights.
Nastara watched concernedly from the bank, waiting for people's heads to appear again...

Asher laughed more as he tickled Jasper, letting the kit go after a few moments when he heard Aria giggling close by. "Don't think you're safe, little miss!" he said as he swam after her. He winked at Nastara on shore and laid on his back while he held Aria, knowing all her ticklish spots and holding her as still as he could while she tried to roll in her laughter.
