MusicSoul_Cam Cam heard the phone ringing from the other room, while making Andrew his lunch. "Here you go..." She hurridly set the plate down on the kitchen table and ran to the living room, plopping on the couch and answered the phone. "Hey, Jamie!" She smiled, still thinking about Brad. "Whats up?" Cam's voice was just a little off, but only one person could tell what it meant when it was a little higher than normal; Jamie. Cam's best friend for years. Cam started plying with a strand of hair, twirling it in bewtween her fingers. She stared up at the ceiling, waiting for Jamie to say something. Jamie paced in her living room and smiled to herself when she heard Cam's voice. "Hey Cam, do you still have to babysit Andrew tonight?" She walked up the stairs to her room just in case her mom was home. She didn't like when people listened to her phone calls. Jamie laughed before saying "Thinking about Brad." It wasn't a question. Jamie knew exactly what Cam was thinking.

See you later. Call me when you leave." "Cool. Bye." Cam walked out the door and to her car. She had the top down again and the radio on, driving a little over the limit to Jamie's.

Cam went in, and paused, letting her eyes adjust to the light. "What are you up to, Jamie?!" She asked, sitting down on the couch. "I know your up to something. And you're not doing a very good job of hiding it." Cam looked Jamie straight in the eyes, being semi-serious now. "I'm not up to anything" Jamie lied. She shot a glance at the front door. "How about we go up to my room." She was so excited for Cam that she couldn't keep her eyes off the door. And of course, like everything else she did, Cam would notice.

She grabbed a clean pair of clothes and headed to take a shower. She took it in less than five minuets and had everything done. "Cam, Andrew! We're home!" Cam's mother walked in the front door, their dad right behind her. "Hey, mom." Cam walked in to the living room and sat down on the couch. "Is it alright if I go over to Jamie's for a while?" She was sure the answer was yes, but she wanted to confirm it. Yea, thats fine. When are you leaving?" Her mom walked in the kitchen and set her stuff down on the counter. "Now." "Okay. See you later. Call me when you leave." "Cool. Bye." Cam walked out the door and to her car. She had the top down again and the radio on, driving a little over the limit to Jamie's. "Bye." Once Cam hung up Jamie dialed Brad's number as fast as she could. He picked up on the second ring "Hello?" "Hey Brad, its Jamie." she replied quickly, eager to invite him over already. "Hey Jamie. Whats up?" He replied curtly. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to hang out at my house" she replied sweetly. "when?" "How about now?" Jamie asked eagerly "Ok fine" He replied becoming more friendly. "Ok see you soon." Jamie replied happily. "Oh and Cams coming" She hung up quickly, before he could say anything. Cam arrived at Jamie's house and put the top up, turning down the radio just a little. She got out and walked up to the door. She knocked on the door and waited for Jamie. Jamie ran downstairs. She took a deep breath to calm herself and opened the door. "Hey Cam" she said hoping Cam didn't suspect anything. "come on in." Jamie stepped out of the doorway and motioned for Cam to come in.
