It's a Record-sized dvd. They're obsolete items now due to their large size and non-portability.

It plays like regular dvds. Originally they were used as Karaoke discs sometimes as prototype DVD's, until the Miracle of True DVDs were born. Then the Laserdiscs ran out of productivity. My parents still own them, but REFUSE to give 'em away for "sentimental" purposes...

Then the Laserdiscs ran out of productivity. My parents still own them, but REFUSE to give 'em away for "sentimental" purposes... They are probably just filled with homemad porn or something.
