Kairi "Hmm?" Kairi said with a questioning look at Sora's cocked head. She wondered what he was thinking, but soon forgot when he answered her question.
"Ooh yay! I haven't seen Riku yet so I'm glad to hear that you two have a class together," the red head said excitedly. "Ah Social Studies, how fun," she said sarcastically. "Oh Axel was there too? I saw him this morning before school started. I think I startled him by being too friendly," she half laughed. Kairi's face became serious for a moment. She still wasn't sure how she felt about the whole thing, but she wanted to try to forgive and forget about what happened with Axel. She wanted to start anew. Kairi's smile returned to her face when Sora handed his schedule to her. "Okay," she said getting her schedule out of her bag and handing it to him.

Namine Miss Memory Witch Always perceptive, Namine noticed Riku's eyes gaze her up and down, almost as if making sure it really was who he thought it to be. A light blush spread over her cheeks. Not from his gaze, but from getting that much attention in the first place. The girl was still slightly reserved, still having the feeling that she simply blended into the background; an object someone glanced at once and then never glanced at again because they did not deem it important enough. So it was strange for her for it to be otherwise now. Strange, yet pleasant.
When Riku nodded, her soft, pale lips pulled up into a smile and she gracefully sunk down into the chair, dropping her bag on the ground beside her. She propped her elbows up on the desk, and intertwined her fingers together, turning slightly so she could look at him as they spoke. When he asked the question, giving a soft chuckle at the end, Namine's own laughter rang quietly as she gave a small giggle. After a moment however, she gave a small sigh. A thoughtful look crossed her face and her crystaline eyes peered into Riku's teal ones. "I wish I knew how to answer that. But I can't seem to come up with an answer; my mind just seems to keep going in endless circles," the petite teen admitted with another soft sigh. After a moment however, her expression cleared and a smile once more played upon her lips.
"But, I'm here now, right? So, why not enjoy it while I can? I'm not sure how I've been given my own body but I'm definitely not going to waste the chance I've been given. After all, that would be pointless." The girl's white teeth flashed as she gave him a shy and sweet smile. "And whatever happened to 'Good to see you again?'" She laughed.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku decided that asking any Nobody he saw 'how' was going to get him nowhere. If he wanted to find out that badly, he'd just have to go researching and sneaking around to find the answer himself, but he wasn't quite sure if he cared that much. With namine sitting beside him we didn't care how she came here, just that she was. It didn't matter and Riku didn't care.
Riku chuckled again with a smile on his lips as he shook his head lightly. Namine was something: something out of the ordinary, but Riku liked it that way. She was unique. He looked back at her with sincere teal eyes. "It's good to see you again, Namine," he stated with light amusement beneath his words. "It really is," he added a bit softer so that no one else could or would hear the words.

Lakayna sighed. "Speeding up time to next period would be nice," she muttered. The class was about three quarters of the way over. Only another fifteen torturous minutes to go; minutes that felt like agonizing hours. The teacher finally gave the homework assignment, which Lakayna wrote down below the one for first period. She was happy she had gym next, because that meant no homework to be assigned.

Namine Miss Memory Witch Riku's soft chuckle caused her smile to remain on her lips and she waited patiently for him to reply. She expected some kind of teasing retort, so she was shocked when he said it was good to see her again. Of course there was a light underlining of amusement in his words, but she didn't care. Her eyes sparkled as she smiled at him. She seemed about to speak, but it wasn't her voice that softly filled the air. It was Riku's again.
This time, all he said was that it really was good to see her. But his tone was so softer so on one would over hear, and she found that she couldn't look away from his teal eyes which were kind and sincere. A light pink hue spread across her porcelain cheeks in a soft blush and her eyes dropped to her desk. "It's really good to see you again too, Riku. I'm glad everything worked out for you." She stated softly, hinting towards his short time in the Orginization, when his appearance had been that of someone else. The girl raised her eyes to meet his and said quietly -- so no one could overhear -- with a small smile, "I knew everything would be alright. You're strong, Riku. Nothing can hold you back if you don't want it to." The girl's blue eyes locked into his teal ones for another moment and then the Teacher called on her, asking which instrument she played and how long she'd been playing it.
Thank goodness her new house had a piano in it and thank goodness she'd taken to it since finding herself on Destiny Islands. The girl turned away from Riku, her fingers unlacing and she rested her arms on the desk. "Piano, sir. For about a week or so." Namine called out softly. The teacher simply nodded and continued on. The petite blonde wished she could turn to Riku to see the look on his face, worried that her words may have strangely upset him in some way. She was curious to his reaction. So, she took a quick peek at the silver haired teen from the corner of her eyes.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” As Namine's words settled on him, he forced his smile away. He had noticed the blush across her cheeks and thought he had embaressed her. Riku looked away during the silence, trying to think of a way to apologize when he felt her eyes on him again. He looked up and as their eyes met she spoke -- he voice a beautiful and delicate hum. She knew the whole time? That things would be okay because he was strong. He'd known he was strong but always doubted himself because of the Darkness that had loomed within him for so long but here Namine was -- the complete essence of sincerity and kindness -- telling him it was so.
Just as the teacher called on Namine, Riku put his head against the desk with his arms folded over his hair. He tangled his fingers into his silver hair in attempts to rip it out. The silvernette had suddenly felt very happy. He knew it wasn't because of anything usual but something unusual. He sighed and then he heard the blonde answer. Piano. She'd been playing for a week. Riku didn't move; just mumbled under himself. "Thanks, Namine."

Namine Miss Memory Witch A look of concern flashed in her eyes as Namine caught Riku's reaction. The boy had layed his head down upon the desk, his arms over his head. Had she upset him? His reaction was strange and instantly triggered her curiosity. The girl's head tilted to one side, her blonde locks swaying before framing her face in a new way.
She opened her mouth to speak, but Riku spoke first, thanking her. He didn't sound upset... But still. "You're welcome?" Namine replied, though her words ended up sounding more like a question rather than a reply. The teacher wasn't paying attention to them now, and the girl shifted so she was able to turn and face Riku. "Er... are you alright?" She asked gently, a quizical look playing in her eyes.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku looked up at namine. His eyes slightly shaded by his platinum bangs. She sounded puzzled, like something was amiss. He raised his head a little more as she turned to him so that his whole face was visible -- shadowed, but seen. She asked him if he was alright. Of course he was. He just felt...awkward. He almost felt sick but in a good way. He ignored it and smirked at the blonde.
"Of course," he lied. He perched his head on his hand again and stared at the girl softly. "Why, Namine? Do I look sick or something?"

Namine Miss Memory Witch Riku answered in a smooth and easy voice, saying he was fine. It was a lie, and although it was performed well, Namine could see through it. She was good at reading people. Skills like that were easy to develope and perfect when no one ever paid attention to you. It was easy to then study people and learn how to sift lies from truth and learn how to read them. When the boy asked if he looked sick or something, the girl hurriedly shook her head.
"No, no! I don't mean anything like that!" Namine was quick to reply, and she gave a small laugh. "It's just, you seemed... off for a second. Like maybe you were embaressed or something. I'm sorry, I'm not quite sure how to explain it," the girl finished with a light giggle. Silence fell and Namine let it fill the space between them, before she locked eyes with him again. The corners of her lips pulled up into a small smile as she spoke. "Really, you don't look sick. You look fine, Riku." The petite blonde assured him.

Before the bell had rang to signal the beginning of second hour, Axel ran as fast as he could to Music class. He kicked the door open, and trusted his arms up into the air, shouting "Music class at last!! I'm gonna have to yell at Demyx when I see him for getting me involved with Music!" Not realizing that the teacher was glaring at him until it was too late, Axel said, "I messed up a bit, didn't I?" As the teacher nodded, Axel apologized, then told him that he wanted to do guitar. Axel quickly sat down next to Riku, saying a quick 'hello, nice to see you again' to Naminé. Even as the class was almost over, Axel still didn't realize that he spoke to Naminé.

Namine Miss Memory Witch Axel had rushed in to the music room and had sat next to Riku, yet throughout the entire period, Namine hadn't even once peered past Riku to look at him. Because her mind had yet to register that it was him, because she'd been so focused on Riku.
However, now that she waited for the silvernette to reply, the girl suddenly blinked in surprise. A look of shock passed over her face and she strongly fought against the urge to leap out of her desk and scramble back as far away from the other Nobody as possible. Still, the girl scooted further away from Riku, an in attempt to get further away from Axel. Her crystal blue eyes were wide and when she spoke, her voice was up a few octaves higher due to fear. "Axel!" She half-whispered, her voice still managing to sound angelic despite being slightly higher pitched.
The sight of him caused her to shiver for it brought back many unwanted memories to the front of her mind. The girl pushed them all back and continued to stare at Axel, a look of shock on her face. She'd been around Axel to long to not be afraid of him. She'd seen what he could do... and though he'd been slightly nicer to her than the others in the Orginization, he'd still used her, kept her prisoner. The girl wanted so badly to jump up and run out of the room, but the bell hadn't rung yet. So she was forced to stay in her seat, her expression a mixture of shock and fear as she stared at Axel with wide eyes.

Lakayna looked to the clock several times. Ten minutes to go, eight, five, three, one... The remaining seconds ticked by agonizingly slow. Lakayna had already gathered her stuff, ready to sprint to the girls' locker room and get changed for gym. Finally, the bell rang; signaling the end of second period. "Yay," she mouthed to herself, walking quickly, and somehow gracefully, out of the room. She made her way to the girls' locker room in under two minutes, and it was on the other side of the fairly large school from her Algebra classroom. Her gym teacher was a younger woman with dark red hair and brown eyes, maybe in her mid to late twenties. She handed out uniforms to girls after they told her thier size. The uniforms for gym consisted of a white polo-type shirt and plaid short shorts. Lakayna never understood why the school clothing was so short, but she didn't argue about it. She slid into an empty dressing room to change, coming out seconds later with her long lavender hair in a ponytail. She stuffed her clothing into an assigned locker and headed down the hallway to the gym that was connected to the locker rooms. "I wonder who else I know has gym," she asked herself quietly.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku was going to answer Namine when Axel barged into the room shouting. His teal eyes looked up and he smiled, the expression not reaching his eyes. He was very aware of Namine beside him. As Axel sat beside him, the blonde moved away and whispered his name back in greeting. The silvernette looked betwen the two: a shady past in the Organization.
"Namine," Riku whispered as he turned to her. He touched her wrist very lightly as he spoke. "He's not going to do anything to you." Once he had finished speaking, the bell rang. Riku looked at the ceiling with a glare. What was with the time flying by. O l O l C l Why are the classes so short? It gives like no time to get a conversation going. ;.;
