No. Because you gotta TALK to people, do mini-games, side-quests, in-game errands, fight bad guys. It's all that crap you gotta worry besides the main story...

I think she means solo as in you don't need to worry about what the NPC's are doing at any given moment...

Examples: Secret 2-player mode EASTER EGGS~!
Devil May Cry 3, mission 18. When you plug in another ps2 controller when another character appears IE Vergil. Another player can automatically play as Vergil while the main player remains as Dante.
Onimusha Dawn Of Dreams. When playing dual missions/ co-op mode during single player. If a ps2 controller is plugged in the 2nd port. The second player can play the secondary character instead of AI control. NOTE: This applies to player roster of ONIMUSHA: Roberto, Juubei, Ohatsu & Tenkai.

No. It was made during the early/late 1990's... I don't think they went that far enough to make that. But I heard there's gonna be an ACTUAL Shenmue MMO for late 2010'ish. Not 100% sure if its true or not.
