"Wow.. such a pretty name." Hargun exclaimed. "Nice to meet you Joliette."
She looked down at herself for a moment and frowned. Looking at her body features now wasnt very enlightening. But she quickly looked back up smiling. "Yea. The costume gets a bit.. irritating having to wear it all day though." Her ear twitched. "I dont suppose theyre gonna make you wear one are they?" she coughed.

"I don't see why they would, I'm only here long enough to get an exclusive story of this movie then back onto my rental boat" she lifted the camera pointing it across the village as she looked through it and took a photo before lowering it, "I think the only reason I left the main building was that I got sick"

Hargun looked over the trees and such trying to find the area that Feral Labs was. It had been a long time since being there. "Sorry you were sick are you doing better?" A BOAT??! she nearly thought outloud.
"Erm. Well lucky you. Ive been frying in this thing for quite some time."
She glanced behind her towards the area of the river and cafeteria.. two places she frequently visited. "Well, do you know where everything's at..?"

She shook her head "No, I am afraid I dont. I'm not sure how I even got right where I am now, all I remember is feeling woozy and dizzy then everything went black, but I imagine I'll be ok" she said looking in the direction Hargun did.

"Oh.. that cant be good. Maybe you need something to eat? We can go get food down at the cafeteria. I can show you where its at." she smiled and lifted her arm to point towards the central village area. Hopefully there wasnt anyone else there... if so at least someone who'd be quiet about the truth.. at least until Joliette was fed and better or something like that.

"Ah good. Cafeteria it is then." she nodded. "Oh and erm sure." she replied, rather suprised shed want to take a photo of a hideous animal person, but heh. She still needed to play along. "I dont need to pose all spiffy or anything do I?" she asked, and made a retarded pose, sticking her hip out really far, a retarded look on her face and her 'hand' on her head.

For the first time since she'd run into Hargun, Joliette's poker face slipped as she laughed "No you dont if you don't want to, I'm just a photo journalist" she lifted the cammera snapping off what sounded like 4 pictures of Hargun having had set the camera to take mulitple images when she was on the Princess and not really thinking to turn that off

Hargun grinned. "Well, that was more than I was expecting, but heh." she turned around and slowly walked then hesitated. "Yah ready to head off to the cafeteria?" she asked, shifting the sunglasses on her forehead to her nose, that she had up during pacing.

First Visit to the Cafeteria Hargun Aikason -Transition from Joliette's duplex- Hargun walked ahead of Joliette as soon as the cafeteria was in sight, then turned around. "Uhm, can you wait her for a sec?" she asked, and listened intently on the inside to see who was in there. Ian and Awen.. okay. she thought, checking herself. "Ah nevermind, come on." she said smiling and walked in. "Heya Awen, heya Ian!" she called to them. Joliette Rigiel Joliette quirked a brow at her strange request but followed her in none the less looking around the building Ian and Awen... two more names to remember she thought to herself. The Dude XD The Dude walked in and headed for the crowd of people. Some he remembered from before, some were clearly new. he waved to everyone and grinned a wide: "Wasssup!" Ian Campbell Ian heard the people entering before he actually saw them. Turning in his seat he gave a lighthearted wave. "Hello," his eyes scanned the faces. The Dude hadn't changed since Ian last saw him, but Hargun was distinctly more bat-like, just as Amaya had mentioned. With Hargun was a new face. Not another one, Ian thought. Will it ever end? He smiled warmly at all three of them before turning back to Awen."Sure I can give the book to her. Since I need to speak with her anyway." Awen Zyn Awen stood up seeing all the new people enter. It's only polite really. Glancing down to Ian she smiled brightly. "Thanks."
Turned to the others. "Hey Hargun, Dude." She waved a little before looking to the new girl. "So who is this here?" Awen rounded the table to greet the girl , for once actually looking down.
Mentally Awen grinned to herself, whoot she's shorter than me! Then paused wondering if this is a good thing. She wouldn't want Jamal to suddenly call this girl "Shorty"... But onto introductions!
"I'm Awen Zyn." She said politely and held out her hand. "But uh Hargun already said my name and ...well..yeah. Still!"
Awen assumed since the girl was with Hargun she obviously knew something was up. Hargun, being as she was and all, had probably already told her the truth, so Awen wasn't too concerned. And really she probably wouldn't know when to shut up, and even if she did it was doubtful she wouldn't reveal the truth. Or..try to anyway. Hargun Aikason Hargun nodded and waved at the Dude as he made an appearance. "Oye! Hi Dude!" she turned around to Joliette. "Guys, this is Joliette. Just recently arrived on the island." She stepped aside to glance at Awen and Ian. Trying to give a rather serious look, although she doubt theyd get what she meant by Try to lay low for a bit.. It wasnt very clearly stamped on her face. Ugh.. I cant eat any bugs in front of her.. hold it in Harg.Joliette Rigiel "All more actor friends I presume Hargun" she said and nodded to each her eyes finaly landed on the Dude "intersting that some seem to be in costume while others not" she said her voice carrying her british accent clearly. She didn't catch Hargun's look to the others The Dude XD Oh yeah, another victim of Moreau's lies ... a pretty one, too: "Hi Joliette. How long since you came here and why?" - he smiled at her. Wow, Ian grew himself some horns, huh? Great ... now they had Ambrose the Wolf and Ian the Lunch. Great plannign Moreau ... great planning. He sighed and started paying more attention to the conversation. Ian Campbell Ian was able to guess in a moment that this Joliette didn't know about the islands secret yet. She called them actors...great, just great. Costume, she had said and Ian brought a hand reflexively to his antlers trying to resist having his ears twitch. He hoped he succeeded and put a smile on his face. "It's part of the general script," he lied knowing absolutely nothing. "Some don't have costumes until later." His smile faltered, but only for an instant. Ian hated lying, but perhaps it would make everything easier on Joliette. "I'm Ian, as Hargun mentioned. And hi Dude. You haven't been around much? Or is it me that hasn't been around?" Awen Zyn Awen blinked and withdrew her hand when the girl didn't take it. She looked around at the other four as they talked and had a definate frown on her face. Once Ian had finsihed she just.. couldn't take this.
She looked at Hargun, Dude and Ian. "I can't believe you three!" She said finally. "You guys profess to hate Moreau...at least you do Dude. And yet you're helping him!" Her frown almost set into a glare. "What are you going to do? String her along with Moreau's lie until she changes? What do you think it will make things easier on her? Not only will she be trapped on this island like the rest of us but she'll then find out anyone she's come to trust has lied to her the entire time!"
She took a breath. She'd been getting more angry lately because of this stupid place... Stupid island, stupid Moreau, stupid everyone.... She started to really raise her voice."I learned the truth within hours of my arrival thanks to Pyroth shouting it into my skull and you know what? I'm better for it. Better than not knowing until I changed, better than denying it like Jamal." She was near frustraded tears. "The only way she is going to cope with this is if we are open and honest with her and help her through this. But you are all just going to go hide behind Moreau's lie because you are afraid of phasing her. It doesn't matter if she hurts, as long as you're not the ones to do it right!? As long as the delusion of normality lasts for a little while, you don't care if it would hurt that much more when the truth comes crashing down...." She stopped raising her voice and ended in a growl. "You hate Moreau.....but you are no better than him, helping him, feeding his web of lies. She's going to find out sooner or later. Why not tell the truth and help her, rather than help Moreau..." Hargun Aikason Hargun winced as Awen shouted. As soon as she was finished she stared at her for a moment then frowned. "Smooth Awen." she sighed. "Look, you honestly want to crush it on her right away? I dont want to sound rotten, but maybe she doesnt need it to be hammered on her right away! I was lied to for several days Awen, several days in which I worked really hard, drawing and such. The reason I came to this island, and I was fooled long enough to almost side with the doctor. Ambrose and Greer explained the truth, and I was heartbroken. But it doesnt matter now how long you hold it off, once we all receive the truth, we all feel totalled. Nomatter where we came from, what we did in our previous lives, and nomatter why we particularly came here, we're all doomed to the same fate. And I believe each person should at least have some time before theyre told 'Oh my god, your turning into a damned animal, congradulations!'" Her feeling of guilt and homesickness seemed to fuel her argument, and she couldnt control some of the things she was saying. She sighed, realizing what she just roared. "Im sorry Awen. But we're all frustrated, and adding more people to our list of sympathy to make us feel ever more sorry for ourselves isnt helping our situation at all. " Her eyes began to burn a bit. "And how dare you think we're trying to help Moreau? You're looking at this from the wrong direction." Turning to Joliette she tried to hold back from crying. "Look.. Im sorry. Im going to sit down for now though." and she rushed for a chair, and threw her head down on the table. She did NOT like to argue with people. And it didnt matter if she won or not.. just getting involved made her breakdown. Joliette Rigiel Joliette looked well... stunned, she had been about to reply to the Dude's question when all the outburst happened, she looked back and forth between them. She was trying to sort out of this was all part of the script or not, she'd not gotten far in that script when she had begun to feel ill "I ... uh..." The Dude XD The Dude put his flippers into his pockets and was gonna open his mouth and prevent the outburst, but it all happen too fast, and he didn't want to interrupt Hargun. She said exactly what he thought about the situation as well and she said it with far more passion. Instead, he patted Joliette on her shoulder and grinned, putting himself between Awen and her and uttered: "Well, Joliette, didn't that look like a few talented young actors were practicing their lines. Right? How else could you logically exlain all that make up Hargun has on?"
He quirked his eyebrow at Joliette and looked at her piercingly with his baby blue eyes. Then looking down, he added:"Well, but if you excuse me now ... gotta see how lead actress over there is doing, ey? She's all yours, Awen, if you insist." - he looked back at Awen and stepped out from between the two women's line of sight.
Well, it was in Awen's hand now. The Dude patted Joliette on the back again, and trotted off to talk to Hargun. If Awen was gonna insist on disillusioning Joliette, she could do it all by her lonesome, and she could do the babysitting of a freshly broken soul all by her lonesome as well.
The Dude sat down by Hargun, and put his arm around the fuzzy shoulders: "It's okey, sweet. You are very right. No reason to be embarassed. Awen hasn't changed yet and so she doesn't know what a pain that is ... okey?" - he petted the orange hair. "C'mon ... look up ..." Awen Zyn She could not believe what she was hearing from either of them. She clenched her fists and possitively glared at teh back of the Dude's head as he just left their shouting match up to acting. She seriously was just so angry and hurt by the two that she didn't know whether to scream or cry. Though either one would be nice right now.
Her violet eyes brimming with tears she looked at Joliette. "I'm sorry....but the truth is the truth. The sooner you cope with it the better." She said softly before walking past her towards the doors. She paused and looked back to Hargun and the Dude.
"And you are helping the Doctor.... you are being just like him if you help his lie." She said bitterly. "Hypocrits." She hissed as she threw open the doors and left. Hargun Aikason Hargun muttered something rather jumbled up like any whining ninny would, but lifted her head a bit when the Dude came over. She was about to say something until Awen threw out her last words and began to whimper a bit. "I am NOT doing well lately. First probably making Ambrose sad, now causing Awen to go up in flames.. what the hell am I doing wrong?" she then glanced over to Joliette with red puffy eyes then over to the Dude and tried to force a smile. "Im so sick and tired of everything thats going on. We're starting to argue with each other. Is that not SAD or what?" she said and tried wiping her face off with her arm. Joliette Rigiel Joliette blinked and looked at her camera taking it her hands before turning it over in her hands, these were truly... confusing people. She felt kinda awkward just left alone in the middle of hte room and looked for food. Without a word she quickly went and gathered herself a small salad and slowly walked towards them. The Dude XD The Dude didn't pay attention to Awen's hatefull glare, but he heard the comment and he hear the door slam. Good, one less woman on a verge of a nervour break down to deal with. And Ian had made himself scarce, too, which the Dude didn't blame him for at all. He smiled at Hargun and grabbed a napkin from a nearby napkin holder, giving it to the sniffling bat-girl. Then he continued, in a low voice, so that Joliette wouldn't have an easy time hearing it:
"No no, don't be silly, Hargun. I'm not even sure what you are talking about in terms of Ambrose, but he's a big boy and yes, he doesn't like his new fur coat, but he'll get used to it. He's just being overly sensitive on the subject. And it's okey to voice your opinion. It's good that you spoke up right now and it's okey if Awen disagrees. It's her oppinion and this is yours. I agree with you and if you hadn't said it, I would have. We are not helping Moreau here. Not at all. Don't worry."
He patted her on the shoulder again: "C'mon, brave face, Joliette's coming." Hargun Aikason Hargun sniffled a string of uncontrolable sniffles and took the napkin and burried her face in it until she could pull it together, then looked up again. "I know.. I just wish I could stop being so shocked everytime I see someone changed so much, although Im pretty sure that cant happen. And I still cant believe she would think I was trying to side with the heartless b*****d though.." she muttered laughing, although she wasnt sure what was so funny. She glanced over to where Joliette had been getting her food, then eyed her as she came over and smiled when she came closer. "Sorry about that fuss." she said as calmly as she could to her. Joliette Rigiel "Uhm, thats ok, you are all right though... right?" she sounded unsure of herself the arguement had brought her confidence down a little and she was back to what was her normal self.. rather reserved if it had nothing to do with her work. The Dude XD The Dude nodded at Joliette when she sat down next to them, but decided to continue explaining just a few more things to Hargun anyway. Hargun was a good girl, she had gone thru a good deal of trauma by now, that with turning nocturnal, practically loosing her arms and having to eat bugs. So the new girl woudl jsut have to listen and wonder for a moment longer.
"Well, hey ... tell me about it" - the Dude smiled sadly at Hargun. "Greer changed, too, you know ... that was actually the main reason I smacked the doctor at the party ..." - he nodded. "And you are an honest kid. You react honestly to what you see. You don't hide your emotions. That's good. I don't want to teach you how to smile if you'd rather be runnign around screeming. It's a sad skill to have."
He wushled Hargun's orange hair and turned back to Joliette: "Well, sorry about all this fuss. I suppose we can blame the sun for it. So ... before we got distracted ... why again are you on this island? I'm just curioius." Hargun Aikason Hargun sighed "Yea.. she was there when we saw Ambrose's change." she said and grinned as he mentioned hitting the doctor. She flinched, but with a smile when he ruffled her hair then looked at Joliette as well, and listened to the two converse. She already heard a bit of the story. Joliette Rigiel "Well, I heard rumors there was something in the triangle, that it wasn't just disappearances. I heard about Mr DiRossi disappearing in this area too... so I rented a yacht style boat, loaded up on film and packed my photography equipment and came searching. I work for World Weekly News among other publications. Was drifting a ways offshore and found hte isle, saw Mr DiRossi on shore, now dont get me wronge, it's said he's dead, so I decided to come closer and expose his fake death, Was offered an exclusive to a ... movie... and came ashore." she said putting it in short form. "Was in Mr. Sabin's office when I started feeling ill..." she left it at that right then The Dude XD The Dude listened intently, happy to hear that the world was becoming curious about the island. Maybe there was a chance for help coming and the FBI freeing them all and some kind of magic antiserum for Greer. He certainly perked up as he listened to Joliette: "I see ... did Mr. Sabin vaccinate you by the way. And ... erm ... do you still have that yacht?"
Oh god, please let the ship still be here ... he held his breath and crossed his fingers. Oh please oh please oh please ... Hargun Aikason "Holy s**t!" Hargun exclaimed outloud then covered her mouth and looked at them strangely. Sabin mustve been Doctor Duvert, which obviously ment he WAS part of staff. Well, one mystery solved.. although it wasnt doing her much good. But still. She too perked up when the Dude brought up the question about a boat. She remembered thinking about it when she was first talking with Joliette. Joliette Rigiel "I... don't know, I told him no when he offered me a immunization, I don't believe in them, but after I got sick I blacked out on the way to see their doctors. As for my boat, last I saw it it was lightly beached where I had seen Mr DiRossi, so unless it was moved..." she pulled the keys from her pocket and dropped them on the table, they were rather obviously rental keys and the key itself was round like one would find on a kryptonite bicycle lock "which they'd have need those for... it'd be there" The Dude XD "Okey, let's go ..." - the Dude jumped up and grabbed the key in one hand and Joliette's hand in the other. Oh please oh please oh please oh please
"I'll tell you all about the mystery of the island on the way ..." - he nodded his head, tryign to look not too frantic about it. Hargun Aikason Hargun leaped up and cocked her head until it finally hit her to follow after. "Hey wait for me guys!" she said, and knocked over a chair to follow after them. Joliette Rigiel Joli was surprised to say the least and dropped her fork as she was pulled towards the door "Uhm, ok.. go where?" she said grabbing hold of her camera with her free hand not wanting it to swing wildly The Dude XD "The yacht, man, the yacht" - the Dude pleaded ... then stopped and looked suspicioulsy at Joliette: "You do remember where you left it, right?" Hargun Aikason Hargun looked around. "Surely its near one of the open beaches right?" she asked behind them. Hopefully the awful staff hasnt taken it away..Joliette Rigiel "Yeah I guess, Mr DiRossi was on that beach.. I uh..." she looked around them "Well to be honest I don't know where I am right now, theres a blank between the hall outside Mr Sabin's office and waking up on a bed in number 27" she said looking both meak and slightly frazzled The Dude XD "Yeah, you are right Hargun. But there are two beaches, one on the east side and one on the west side of the isalnd. Well, the wide beach is to the west, so I suppose lte's check it out first." - he nodded his head then stopped when Joliette mentioned blancking out. he hadn't caugth on to it the other time she spoke about looksing consiousness, but now the unfortunet truth hit.
"You mean ... you fainted after you talked to Sabin?" - he asked, his heart dropping on the floor. s**t. The boat's probably gone. You could physically see how orribly dissapointed the Dude felt.
But he pulled himself together and nodded his head resolutely: "Well, at least we can cehck it out, right. No harm in that." - he smiled appologetically at Hargun, who looked like she was excited about it as well. Hargun Aikason "Yea.. surely it wouldnt kill us to look. Maybe they did get it, but moved it and left it there until they could find something official to do with it." she tried to reassure. Although now that she could tell he was a bit down she figured their chances of finding it were decresed tremendously. However, IF they did find that boat... Joliette Rigiel Joliette nodded "Yes I did" she said slowly to the Dude. She thought for a moment "Last thing I remember were the words 'floor 8', then waking up and then meeting you" she motioned to Hargun... "I don't imagine it would hurt to look, why would they move it?" she was still clueless on this The Dude XD Floor 8, huh. Well, damn they were efficient here. He'd ask her to roll up her sleeves later. No need to ask really. The Dude was sure he'd find a little swollen spot from the injection on one of her arms. He wondered what kidn of animal she'd become ... poor thing. But to answer the questions ...
"Well, you know ... maybe to hide that Vasile was still alive and kicking, for example ..." - he patted Joliette's shoulder. "Do you have a funcitong cell phone on you or maybe a radio or something?" Again, probably not, but didn't hurt to ask. All this was doen as the group was walkign towards the beach and away form the cafeteria. To the Beach

Checking the Beach Hargun Aikason -Transition from the Village rp- Hargun nodded as they made their way to the main beach area. She didnt bother to look very hard.. it would strain her eyes too much anyways and wouldnt help at all. Instead she followed behind the Dude and Joliette quickly. Joliette Rigiel Joliette watched the scenry as they approached the beach, she uncapped her camera walking backwards onto the sand when they got there. She looked up at hte scenes through teh viewfinder, it's how she'd seen the beach to begin with it made sense to see it the same way to know if this was where she'd been The Dude XD Walking alongside Hargun and Joliette, the Dude asked: "So anything here looking at all familiar, Joliette? Do you remember seeing that beach bar or those overturned palm trees when you were her last time?" There was no sight of a boat, that's for sure. Hargun Aikason Hargun tried to look around, and even though everything seemed irky and groggy, she could tell there was no boat. "Its not here...?" she muttered and glanced at the Dude and Joliette as he asked her about what she remembered. Joliette Rigiel She looked at the scenes backing up till her ankles were in the water, the bar no... but I did take a lot of photos of Mr DiRossi running and it does look familiar" she said moving hte camera from her face looking around with a sigh "And no boat" she walked on shore "My creditors will kill me if I dont return that boat" The Dude XD "Yeah but are you sure it was here? I mean, maybe ... maybe it was the other beach. You know, maybe they all look alike to you?" - the Dude tried, not willign to give up hope Hargun Aikason Hargun didnt want to bring things dont, but stated anyways. "I doubt its here guys. The other beach has got to be our last option unless they for some odd reason stashed it in the jungle or something.." she then shrugged. Joliette Rigiel Joliette shook her head "if it's on another beach then all sides of this isle are identical, cause I remember this scene in my telephoto lens..." she shook her head . "I feel sore, not so hot really" she admitted still just as sore as when she woke up The Dude XD Yeah ... what was he expecting anyway ... that Moreau would let a boat just lay around like that? Yeah, and next he'll give them all the antidot, too. The Dude sighed and then smiled at Hargun. "I'll check the other island out, dont' worry. I'll check the entire island, just in case. And in case they sunk it, I'll be checking the ocean floor as well. But Joliette ... she probably should go lay down. Come on, I will walk both of you home." Because it woudl be bad to leave Hargun by her lonesome to deal with Joliette in case the journalist decided to be a journalist and ask questions again. "Well, Joliette, does that sound like a plan? Sorry to have dragged you all the way up here ... silly us." - he gave her a croocked smile Hargun Aikason "Sounds good Dude." she said then started laughing. "God I wish I could fly.. this would make things a little easier. Maybe someday." Hargun mumbled. "Well, good luck finding it.. Ill walk with Joliette from here." she waved. Joliette Rigiel Joliette gave them both a weak smile "Thanks, and yes good luck, Dude was it?" she said with a nod The Dude XD "Yeah ... it's Dude." - he nodded and smiled brightly at Joliette. "Nice to meet you and all. And be good to Hargun. No difficult questions to her, okey?" - he mockingly shook his finger then dangeld Joliette's keys in front of her: "I'll keep these for a while longer, just in case I've found your lost vessel. I promise to take good care of it, if I do, no worries. I'm actually a fisherman and a captain by trade. So yeah ..." "Well, take care, you two!" - he waved and headed out on the search for the journalist's yacht. Back to the Duplex

After they got Joliette's food back, and Hargun sneeking some chocolate covered ants into her pocket, it was back to the duplex.
Hargun popped a few ants in her mouth as they walked. "The dude's really awesome. Hopefully we'll find that boat of yours." she said, even though her mouth was full. Bad manners, but it kinda kept things casual.
