((PLOT TWIST XD! Lerena has a fight against Darla in a dream which allows her to take away Darla's ability to control her for awhile. She can come back so Yami Marik can banish her to the shadow realm, but I need a break from being Darla.
Ammeterasu can still realize that Darla was actually another soul rather than a split personality, but I don't see what good it would do her to want Darla saved. She would change her ways though. Being saved from the shadow realm would make her realize what Lerena really wants. Darla would also quit taking control of Lerena.
It's unfortunate that I can't remember what happened to get Atemu sealed in the Millennium Puzzle. xD I vaguely remember some fight with Bakura, but I'm not sure if that's right.))
Oh, yes, Marik's hatred of her was absolutely beautiful. Although, she didn't feel like responding to him. She had business to accomplish even if he wasn't dueling the Pharaoh on his own terms. Darla wasn't surprised that he was angry, but she almost felt Lerena struggling to awaken. "Thank you, Uncle. You've done a perfect job, but you have also opposed me. In fact, I just can't decide whether you should live or die. Karma really is a b***h, isn't it, Cobra?" said Darla, crossing her arms. Her eyes widened and she screamed. "What is this?!" she growled angrily as her arms fell by her sides.
"I'm not yours to control, Darla." came Lerena's voice.
"No!" said Darla. She let out a loud scream and then Lerena was in control again, breathing heavily.
"What does a girl have to do to have some peace in her life?" she asked Renoko. "Cobra." said Lerena to him coldly.
"Lerena? Look, I'm sorry. I was just desperate..."
"Desperate, huh?" answered Lerena, narrowing her eyes. "Just leave. We'll talk about this later." she retorted. When Cobra left, she turned to her sister. "You didn't try to stop her?" she lectured with a sigh.
"How was I supposed to know she'd pull this crap?" asked Renoko.
"Fair enough." answered Lerena. She turned to look at Atemu. "Listen. I'm sorry about Darla. If you still want a duel, you're welcome to have a casual one with me. Marik, please forgive me. I never meant for this to happen. Don't feel obligated to duel him just because Darla planned all this."
"Darla's right, isn't she, Lerena?" Atemu remarked. "Marik is the one who holds my memories, isn't he?"
She sighed. "You can't force your memories to be given back, Pharaoh. You and Ammeterasu were led here, because Darla was confused. She may feel my pain, my hatred, and she may even know my memories. However, she has trouble acknowledging what it is I really want. I believe she can change, but it would take a near-death experience to convince her to. I'm sure this situation will work itself out, but I have no control over what happens next."
"You are correct. You can't change what Marik is supposed to do, Lerena. He's supposed to give me back my memories. That is what he's meant to do."
Lerena walked over to the wall and leaned against it. She looked at her right hand, but a Millennium Claw didn't appear. The only time she was meant to use the Millennium Claws was to put an end to a member of the Natsuki Clan. Her hand closed into a fist and dropped by her side. "All I wanted was happiness and I can't have that. Don't go around thinking your life is more important than mine or his."
"Lerena, my memories are important to me. I'm sure that if you stopped hanging by your sister's every word, you could find your happiness."
"Fool! Mind your own business! It is Renoko that has kept me sane all these years!"
"You really are stupid, aren't you Pharaoh? I'm in the process of helping my sister become stronger. You have no right to judge me!" sneered Renoko angrily.
"In answer to your question, Marik, I'm not sure. Since I can't remember anything about my past, I know nothing about the life I used to have. I don't even remember my own name. Please give me my memories. That's all I want."
She didn't believe that Atemu deserved his memories, but she was tired of causing trouble. "This is why I don't want to get close to anyone outside of my family, Pharaoh. Darla causes trouble for everyone, but my family is willing to put up with my problems. They're willing to help me and make sure Darla doesn't do anything bad." Because of what Darla did, Marik probably hated her. She didn't need anyone's pity, but she still wished to make Marik happy. Thanks to Darla, he was angry and he probably wanted her out of his life. She glared at Atemu angrily and then turned away from him. Because she was holding back the urge to kill him, she now had a massive headache.

[[Amme has a natural love for people and does not believe in murder. The shadow realm is like death or even worse then death- so she is against it. She always feels like there is 'another way'. But since Yami Marik isn't really another soul, but a malefestation, she's fine with that- he's not really a soul..... more like a demon or ghost kinda. I think he was put in the puzzle....... lolz I forget. It was to keep him protected or to save the world in the future? FFFFFF this is why I am getting the episodes, so I can refresh myself more often XD]]
Marik looked over to see Lerena had come back into control. He sighed a little in relief. At least now only one thing was pissing him off instead of two things. Now all he had to do was take care of the Pharaoh. He shook his head, "No, this duel has to happen. If I don't win what is rightfully mine then I will never be at peace. I just wish I was able to plan this better then be rushed- thanks to Darla." He growled when he thought about Darla but then looked over to Lerena and softened just a little (yet still looked serious as usual), "Are you ok?" he asked her.
"I don't have to give you s**t!" Marik argued with the Pharaoh. "You were supposed to return to us! I don't care if you lost your memories! Your excuses mean nothing to me! They told us to wait for you, that we would have your memories, all you had to do was find us. Why would they tell us this IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE ******** YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DO!? Tell me!!!!" he screamed.
"Because it's your destiny!" Ammeterasu answered him, "he would have been lead to you! You would have fulfilled your destiny and you would have been free of your duties! But you've been lead off your track by your dark shadow, thinking your the victim!"
"You don't know s**t woman! Do you know what I've been through? Waiting in that s**t hole all alone! In the dark!" he shouted at her.
"I've waited all my life in the dark! Twice! And I never strayed from my path! Don't blame your struggles! Everyone has them and they should make you stronger! " she pointed at him. She couldn't help but become emotional about the situation.
"I don't care! They did make me stronger, and smarter. I'M going to take change of MY life! My right! My destiny!" he yelled back. Suddenly, he put his hand on his forehead. He felt a horrible pain in his head and a tunneling feeling. He growled and glared at the two of them
"It's not yours to have. And it's not your destiny. *It* wants you to think that. It feeds from your anger," she said. "All you have to do is what you were supposed to- then you will be set free from everything. Able to live your life to the fullest," she added.
"Lerena, if it means anything to you I don't put anybodies life in front of someone elses. Everybody has a right to be happy. Both Marik and the Pharaoh can be happy if Marik follows his destiny. But it seems *it* won't let him. Not until he is cleansed will he be relieved of his despair and pain. He had a chance to fight it itself, now he can no longer," she said.
She then looked at Atemu, "It is no longer an option to just simply receive your memories. You have to win it from him, sad to say," she said pointing out that things are no longer as easy as they could be. She hope that he could see the evil force that was driving Marik.
He looked over at Lerena. "Don't worry about it Lerena. We'll deal with Darla after this," he said basically willing to help her with her problem.
"So are we going to duel or not?" he hissed darkly.
[[so should Darla try to resurface and Atemu tries to send her to the Shadow Realm but Amme stops him. But then Yami Marik succeeds in send her to the shadow realm and Amme can try to save Darla? Does that sound good?]]

((Yea. That works fine. =3 This is a bit of a short post, but since almost everyone is together, it probably shouldn't be too long. One of us can just roll a die for the duel between Marik and Atemu unless you have an outcome in mind.
EDIT: I'm probably going to have trouble resisting the urge to quote Mikage from Revolutionary Girl Utena in my next post. I just realized that Mikage is voiced by Dan Green. XoX))
Marik's words managed to calm her down, but she didn't want him to be hurt by the Pharaoh. Their millennium items could be used in shadow duels where the stakes were high. She didn't want Marik to get hurt, but she had to have faith in him. She put one hand on her hip and then pointed at the Pharaoh. "Pharaoh! You better fight honorably in this duel. Believe it or not, Renoko and I may not have been very nice in our duel, but that still doesn't mean we didn't fight fair."
"Don't worry, Lerena. All I'm going to do is get my memories back. Marik will be safe." he assured her. When Ammeterasu mentioned he'd have no choice but to duel Marik, Atemu nodded. He crossed his arms and looked at Marik. "Marik! You will have your duel. If you lose, you must give me back my memories, but if I lose, then I will leave you alone. Do we have a deal?"
Lerena snorted. She was glad that she felt better. At least Marik hated Darla, not her, but that didn't mean she hated the Pharaoh any less for coming here. The one she had asked for help from earlier was now her biggest enemy. Darla would be dealt with, but later. It was time for Marik to duel the Pharaoh. Ammeterasu spoke to her and Lerena crossed her arms. "Ammeterasu, I believe that fate will take its course, but I also believe that fate can change. If I had things my way, I would be the one to save Marik from his dark side. Understand that I want Marik to win in this duel. It's not because I am evil, though others may question this; it's merely because I too have feelings."
It didn't take long for Renoko to realize Lerena's change in attitude when Marik spoke to her. Obviously Lerena's emotions were true and she did love him. Hopefully it would not backfire and hopefully *it* would not appear. She did want Darla gone, but the worst was yet to come. Renoko just had that feeling that something bad was going to happen during this duel...something very very bad. Marik putting his hand to his forehead didn't help her feeling either. It was thanks to Darla that she had a bad feeling at all.

[[I dunno how to do the duel. Perhaps just summerize bits and pieces of it? I can't rp duel that well. So maybe just vague details like "He brought out a monster and the monster was stronger then his". Who is going to win?]]
"I don't think it's a person who can save Marik. It's his journey that will save him. He will save himself," she replied back to her maturely. "And perhaps the best way to learn is to lose. You can't win until you lose," she added. She too wanted to see this man saved from his dark side. It was eating him inside- it could consume him. Amme's eyes widened for a moment when Lerena said that she had feelings to. Not because she doubted Lerena had feelings, she wasn't sure if Lerena was talking about her as well. Could she read people? Their minds? That was ridiculous. And if she could, she certainly wasn't thinking anything of the sort herself- she told herself. But was Lerena talking about her feelings? She flushed a little and turned her head a bit. She didn't bother responding about her own feelings- she didn't understand them and it wasn't the time to think about them anyway.
"No, that's not good enough," he said pointing at Atemu. "If you lose, I want you to give me your puzzle, and you must surrender your life to me," he said deviously. "Do you agree to that?" he added with a wicked smirk. He then turned to Amme and threatened, "So don't bother trying to duel me for the puzzle after I destroy him!"
Amme's eyes narrowed as her fists clenched a bit when she heard the deal. "I don't have to duel you for it," she said pointing at her orb.
"Then I'll kill you if you try to take it from me. Got that you stupid b***h?" he hissed darkly, too dark for Marik alone. It almost sounded like another voice speaking a long with him.
Amme just sneered back at him.

(('m just as inexperienced in role-playing duels as you are. I don't remember Atemu bringing his duel disk. ~magically writes this post to have him activating the duel disk he conveniently has with him~ If you ask me, the Pharaoh should lose against Marik and Marik should try to kill him. BWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! twisted We can skip past the duel to when Marik's dark side emerges.
Additionally, starting this Sunday the 19th, I will not be here for a week. I will have internet access at times, but without the constant access it takes to construct a post for this RP, it may take a week to make a post. =0 Either way, I look forward to your reply. I'll just make some edits here since I'm bored...))
Something stirred inside her violently, as if trying in vain to gain control of her. Someone in the distance tried to speak with her. Darla! That b***h would dare try to contact her?! She nodded at Ammeterasu. "If he saves himself, then that's fine." Lerena remarked. Did she blush? Why did her eyes widen? She didn't say anything wrong, but was Ammeterasu's blush a confession of being in love with the Pharaoh? That wasn't the problem at the moment; Marik's dark side seemed to be surfacing and Lerena wasn't able to keep it in check. Lerena knew that a slight change in his voice meant his dark side was beginning to overpower him. It was faint, but she knew Marik's voice well. After all, how could she have a crush on a person whose voice she could not recognize? Although it was well hidden, her eyes held the truth of her current feelings: she was afraid. Lerena was truly afraid of Marik's dark side.
Atemu noticed that Lerena seemed to recognize how severe the situation was. However faint it was, he could also see fear in her eyes. The person he was seeing now was far different from the girl who had taken his Millennium Puzzle from him. Just why was she afraid if she wanted Marik to win? Didn't she know that if Marik won, his dark side might surface when he tries to kill him? His eyes closed and he sighed. "Fine, Marik. If I lose, you may have my life and you may take my Millennium Puzzle. I will beat you anyway." Atemu promised. "I don't necessarily agree to these terms; it's just that you don't seem to be allowing the duel to begin until I do." His eyes opened and he spoke to Lerena. "Lerena, once Marik loses, he will see that he is meant to give me my memories and he will fight to restore balance in his soul and heart."
So Marik did have a dark side. Renoko could sense it trying to surface. Right when Marik threatened Ammeterasu, she could almost hear another voice speaking with him. Because of Lerena's reaction, she knew that her sister heard it as well: Marik's dark side was surfacing. If Marik began to lose, would he come to life and take over Marik? "Lerena, be careful." Renoko advised. "Darla can still take control of you even if you have control now." she said, walking behind Lerena and putting her hands on Lerena's shoulders gently. She glared at Atemu. "Don't act like you care about him! You're the reason he suffered!" she snapped angrily.
Atemu activated his duel disk. Did Marik really want him dead that much? "You can go first, Marik." he said. He looked at Renoko. "Stay out of this, Renoko!" he suggested. "Marik has a manifestation worse than neither you nor your sister can even begin to comprehend! He is suffering because of that manifestation, not from me. If Lerena really cares about Marik, she will want me to win." explained Atemu. Right now, he didn't want to put up with Renoko's obnoxious behavior. She had done enough for one day.
She felt her head. For a moment, she almost thought that Atemu had a point, that perhaps she was a fool to think she understood Malik's position, that perhaps she doesn't belong here. Maybe she should leave and never look back, but her throat felt like it would burn up if she didn't speak the words that came to her. "Shut up, Pharaoh!" snapped Lerena angrily. "Who I want to win doesn't dictate how much I care about him. I hate people like you. You know nothing about me!" Lerena retorted cruelly, putting one hand on her hip and pointing at Atemu. Even though she had defended herself, she wasn't satisfied. "Burn in Hell!" she shouted at Atemu.
Atemu sighed. Lerena just didn't get it. She shouldn't parade around giving Marik everything he wants without considering what's best for him. Did this girl really love Marik or was it all just an act?
"Don't sigh at me, you son of a b***h!" orderd Lerena, crossing her arms then dropping them by her side when she spoke. "You understand nothing that's going on inside of me. If you did, perhaps you wouldn't be throwing around sighs like confetti! I'm not as demonic as I appear. I actually have feelings. When you pretend like everything I do is a meaningless action, or a meaningless desire, it doesn't make me like you any more than I already don't. So, hold your tongue." she explained, ending her explanation with a snort. "I'm actually confused about everything that's occurring. I don't know why Darla started this crap and I don't know why she's such a pain to deal with. But it is fun to pin the blame on someone, so how about I blame you for all the s**t that has occurred in my life recently?"
"Fine, do what you want." said Atemu. "But that attitude may very well be your demise one day."
"I pick my friends and my alliances very very carefully. It comes with being a Demonic Sister." said Lerena. "You aren't my concern; you're Marik's. Now pay attention to the duel. I'm done talking." she said icily.

[[Sorry I was away for a week. Lots of things I ended up doing. I have to take a shower now, but I'll be back to post (if your on). I'm having a difficult time thinking about what to post next. If Atemu loses, and Marik tries to kill him, what should happen? Should he kill him? I don't think that would go anywhere. What should happen? I don't know where to go after that.
No problem about the week thing :3 That works for me too cause I got things to do this week as well :3
I'll be back, I'll try to make a decent post ^.^' If by any chance I don't come back tonight, I'll try tomorrow morning]]

((Darla can interfere. She's good at making people hate her. She's probably as good at it as Carmela is. Don't worry about if I'm online. Just post. Me being offline never stopped you before, right?
Edit on August 15th: School started back for me, but I'm bored on a Friday night so I'll come up with more ideas for you to use. These are just some ideas to help you with your next post. I also expanded on previous ideas. I edited my last RP post. If you read it before, it's longer now. Sorry, I got bored. xD
-Amme can interfere instead of Darla and stop Marik from killing him. As for what Amme should do, she should realize that Marik's dark side is a manifestation. From here, one of the following could occur: ~~ 1.) We could go for a cheesy move and Amme tries to get the real Marik to overcome his dark side and kill it off.
~~ 2.) She tries to kill the manisfestation using the powers of her Millennium Orb so she can save Marik.
~~ 3.) If one of these options are successful and Marik's dark side is defeated, then there's only Darla left to deal with.
-Atemu wins the duel, but Marik's dark side emerges as a result of the extreme anger from losing against him. With the above options also possible, there's one additional possibility here:
~~ 1.) Marik's dark side confronts Darla and sends her to the shadow realm. Amme then steps in to interfere before Marik's dark side can do further harm to Lerena.
I can't think of any other ideas, but I hope I gave you an idea. The last one seems the most realistic in my opinion. Do whatever can give you the best post. You can combine ideas if you'd like. =3 Good luck with your post.))

[[eeee! sorry I was away for so long. I ended up getting sick and well, I don't really want to talk about it >.> Again sorry, if I was able to get to a computer to tell you I would have but I couldn't. I'm doing much better now and the past day or so I have been checking all my online stuff (inboxes from other sites are completely FULL @___@) So yea, I'm back. Oh and I'll be sending you a pic of a sketch I did for your oC's. It was done a while ago and I have some questions about their design. I may end up redrawing the poses- it was a sketch to get an idea how they should look
I kinda like the idea of Amme saving Lerena (after Darla is sent to the Shadow Realm) instead of her saving Atemu cause I think it would be kinda whimpy if she had to help him XD haha I dunno. plus Atemu's Puzzle would have helped him. However, maybe instead of either of them winning we can have Marik's dark side emerge during the middle or toward the end of the duel- thus the winner is unknown. I don't know how you feel about that, but I kinda like leaving it at a "who would have won" feeling. What I'm going to do it set it up so it is in the middle of the duel and signs of Marik's dark side is coming out- or ends up coming out. Probably after your next post he'll send Darla to the Shadow Realm (giving you the chance to give him a reason why- since she tends to piss people off like you said XD). Or if not, give us time to figure out where to go with this.]]
It was already halfway through the duel and it seemed both the Pharaoh and Marik were neck and neck. Neither wanted to lose, because for both it was life or death, well, life or death for Marik's manifestation. It was like a parasite, and like anyother living thing, it did not want to die. Amme could feel the coldness emitting from both duelists. Yes, even from the Pharaoh. The whole room was filled with this icy hatred. Everyone hated one another, and it was because of the two puppet masters. Lerena's other self and Marik's other self were playing everyone in the room- and the fact that the Pharoah wasn't letting down played a great role. But who wouldn't back down? He wanted what was rightfully his and he wasn't going to stop for anything.
Even though Marik wasn't losing, he was becoming more and more aggrivated. Because the Pharoah wasn't losing. And if he wasn't losing, there was a less and less chance to obtaining his goal and eliminating him for good. "You really are quite the pest aren't you? Refusing to go down like the dog you are," he snipped at the Pharaoh.
Amme had stayed quiet practically the whole time, even while Marik and the Pharoah traded words. However, she could feel his manifestation raising. "Not as easy as you thought it would be now is it?" she commented.
Marik's eyes lit up with anger. "Don't you speak to me like that you worthless piece of s**t!" he growled. Everything was angering him, he couldn't just calm down. He felt like his eyes were burning and tunneling, like his head was spliting in two. He placed his hand onto his head, as if he had a head ache but it was far worse than that. He continued to growl under his breath. "You and the Pharoah think it's that simple don't you?" he spoke not making sense really. Marik felt as if he was falling asleep, or rather passing out. But it wasn't so peacefull, it was like ripping every folical on his skin then feeling like he was falling back. He closed his eyes, hoping it would stop. Once it did, Marik was no longer conscious- his other self had forced himself through.
He shot open his eyes and grinned evily. This was in no way the same Marik as before. This was a being of pure hatred and no remorse. "Don't you see that no matter what you'll end up dead? All of you will end up dead?" he hissed evily. He looked at everyone. This was not Marik- so he did not have the same feelings as Marik did.
Amme's eyes widened for a second when Marik's other self took over. She shook a little- this being was quite powerful and vicous. And his threats were not to be taken lightly. The man wanted everything in his way dead. "So you're the one whose been rotting away in this man's body," she said staying as cautous as possible.
"I am the one with no name who rots this boy's heart and soul," he repeated liking what he has done. He glared at the Pharoah and grinned evily, "I really must thank you though, without you the events that created me would have never happened. But now you have to die. I'll enjoy ripping your insides apart." He then looked at Lerena. He simply grinned malicously. They all must die, and he couldn't help but think how sweet it will be to tear her apart.
For once, Amme actually looked worried and bothered. She tried to hide it as much as possible. She peeked over at the Pharoah.

((Alright then. Tell me any questions you have about their design. I also want to know the description I gave you for them.
Whimpy? XD LOL. You have a point when it comes to the Puzzle. I don't mind if the winner is unknown to be honest. It sounds like a convenient way to end it and I love the scenario of the "who would have won" feeling. I like unknown winners. Darla has surely angered everyone in the room by now. XD She should take this up as a career.))
Lerena's eyes widened and she made her way over to the wall. She put her back to it and breathed loudly. Darla wanted control, but Lerena was fighting to resist her. "It really hurts." she remarked, pointing at her heart. "But you know..." said Lerena. "I believe I can escape my sorrowful fate. It's only a matter of time, you manifestation of darkness." she said darkly.
"Lerena. Darla isn't trying to come out again, is she?" asked Renoko, worried.
"Yes, Renoko, she is." she remarked, her eyes widening. Her heart ached, her eyes burned, and she felt like a number of violent things were being done to her. She screamed, then held her head. She began to cackle loudly, then it was obvious that Darla had taken control again.
"Looks like things have gotten darker than I expected." said Atemu. He was annoyed that Darla had come back, especially since he now had Marik's dark side to deal with. "You're a manifestation that should have never come into being." replied Atemu to Marik's dark side. She looked at Ammeterasu and gave her an encouraging smile. "Don't worry. Everything will be fine. Marik will surely overpower his dark side. I have faith in him." he explained. He turned to Darla and glared at her. "And Darla, don't interrupt the duel!" he said fiercely. Finally, his glance returned to Marik's dark side. Atemu sighed. "I will defeat you here and now! It has become more necessary for me to win this duel. In order for Marik to be saved, you cannot win against me and take my life!"
Darla snickered cruelly at Atemu. "I can do whatever it is I please, fool." she explained. "Besides, I have this delicious power over my body hostess. I have come out, because Lerena felt powerless, weak. She was afraid of this manifestation." Darla remarked, looking over at Marik's dark side. "Though, that's probably an intelligent move on her part. After all, he's making serious death threats." She smirked at Marik's dark side. "But you know. I think Marik is better than you, you manifestation. I really don't understand how a person can want everyone to die. Sure I have people I want dead, but everyone? That's really stretching it." she explained.
"I'm surprised you don't want everyone dead." said Renoko.
"Oh, come on. I don't want my own flesh and blood to die. If I had friends, I wouldn't want them to die either. This manifestation is far worse than I could ever be." said Darla. "And in fact, unlike Lerena, I actually want that loser over there to win. After all, things have gotten serious. I really really don't like it." she explained. "It's cramping my style. After all, he's not going around threatening to kill people. Don't get me wrong; I do believe in murder. But I don't want just anyone to die. That would be silly. I only want Lerena's enemies to die."
"How do we know that's not a lie?" asked Atemu.
"That really hurts." remarked Darla with a cruel chuckle. "I do enjoy this pain. But let me tell you, Pharaoh. Only one person can win this duel. A tie means no one wins after all. I know I hate a lot of people, but I choose the people I want to die carefully. If everyone died, I'd have no one to manipulate to my will." she explained with a loud cackle. "Hatred is so beautiful, isn't it? But Marik's dark side is too corrupted to have an appreciation for the finer things in life. I just can't take his side. I can choose the purer side, can't I? It's not against the rules?"
"You will still be dealt with." said Atemu with a sigh.
"I won't change who I want to win." said Darla, narrowing her eyes. "Beat him and maybe I won't want you dead anymore. But remember this, Pharaoh, that manifestation comes before me. I'm not doing anything right now except expressing a few opinions I have. So even if I'm not wanted, I will stay here. And I will wait until my time comes. Pay attention to the duel, Pharaoh, or you'll lose." she said darkly.

Marik licked his lips as Darla spoke of him. He turned toward her and brought his hand out, gesturing according to what he spoke, "Is it not joyful to have life in your hands? Like a small animal in your palm, the sound of it as you squeeze tighter and tighter. Bones crushing and those small helpless cries. And then finally, muscles popping and it just completely stops moving. With such simple joy, why stop with just the people you hate?" He stopped and then cackled a bit, "And you say I do not appreciate the finer things in life." It was apparent that this being lacked any type of remorse or simpathy for anything in life. It was not human, it did not hold human emotion. It did as it pleased, and it pleased him to kill.
"You're sick," Amme responded to his fasination to killing things. She looked back at Atemu, not very reinsured, "I don't doubt the host, I worry about this being. The fact that Marik has held his own against it all these years is astounding. But it's grown since all that time." She wasn't sure who could sense it's stregnth, but she herself could see. This thing was digging Marik deeper and deeper into subconscous. There was no sign of Marik's presence whatso ever.
Yami Marik sneered at Darla when she said that the other Marik was better. "He would be no where without me! He would still be in that hell pit he called home, scared and weak. That boy is weak even with me residing in him! I was the one to motivate him to take charge, I was the one to fill him with the hatred and paranoa to get him on his path. He is nothing, and when we are done here there will be nothing to him left but me." There was something that angered him about Darla saying his host was better then him. Everything angered him, but that particularly made him set his death glare at Darla.
Amme took a step forward, "You won't have time to do anything to Marik's soul. If you try during the duel, I would imagine Darla would not allow it. If you lose the duel, you'll be diminished before you could even realize." She wouldn't admit it, but she was actually quite frightened of this being- but she pushed herself to stay strong. She showed no real sign of how she felt. "You're practically surrounded with people who are aggainst you," she added.
"If I lose," he smirked.
"You will lose," she reinstated.
"You fear me don't you? You should. Because when this is over with, I'm going to tear you're pretty little head right off your neck. Don't believe me? You don't think it's possible? I could prove you wrong right now. I think I would start with those darting eyes of yours. I'd rip them out so you couldn't see what was coming. You're fear would be delicous. There's something dilectable about a woman's death that really gets the blood flowing," he said crackling afterwards. "Or perhaps seeing what was coming to you would be more striking," he grinned evily as he glared at Darla and Renoko refering to either one of them.
[[I'll have Yami Marik go after Darla next post. As I have a feeling she may something to say to Marik after what I wrote >w< ]]

Darla cackled loudly. "People are able to be happy, because they can distinguish between pain and joy. Without the other, a person is dead; a mere fake, a puppet living in society." explained Darla, holding up her left hand and letting a Millennium Claw appear. She closed her eyes, but opened them abruptly for her next statement. "That is why I welcome pain, but you manifestation, I cannot allow you to kill me." she remarked. "Many have called me a demon as I hold the truth about the cruelest deeds Lerena has committed. The devastation I have caused is so beautiful. It's a shame that such a beautiful creature must die. I also enjoy murdering others, but it's strange; the two of us don't see eye to eye even though I love pain."
It was Renoko's turn to cackle loudly now. Her icy laugh boomed through the room. "This is why I hate men. They're so full of themselves. Though physically stronger than women, they are mentally weaker. Without emotions, you are just a parasite, you filthy manifestation." stated Renoko firmly. She threw her head back with another cackle. "Most men at least have a brain to use when the situation calls. Apparently, yours lost its batteries. You won't have it your way, you parasite." Renoko remarked cruelly. "I respect Marik, because Lerena loves him. A man that Lerena loves is worthy of my respect. However, your presence brought out Darla. And you are far worse of a threat than Lerena nor I could ever pose to anyone. Even Darla admitted that you are worse than her."
"Thank you for your kind words, Renoko, but the Pharaoh has a duel to win if he even hopes to wake up in the morning." stated Darla. "This is his fight, and if he loses, then what kind of chosen one does that make him? I am a parasite, but two beings born from different emotions are bound to produce different demon-like personalities. Marik's dark side was born out of anger and hate while I was born from Lerena's fear and need for protection. Like Cobra, I seek redemption, but unlike Cobra, I have never truly harmed a family member. I am no angel and I never will be, but there are people I wish to protect." said Darla, running her metal claws through her bangs. She smirked at Yami Marik. "Your hate is comforting to me. If Marik is truly as weak as you say, why have you been unable to come out until this fateful duel against the Pharaoh? If he truly is weak, then I want Lerena to be the one to make him stronger. However, you have underestimated your host and I am certain of that." said Darla. "Should you choose to banish me and I am unable to stop your power, Lerena's final memories of me will remain; I will not block them. And then she can decide what to do. I have faith in my hostess and I believe that no matter how grim the situation, Marik is not gone forever."
Atemu made his move and sighed. "You're worse than I thought, you parasite." he said to Yami Marik. Right now, he was on the defensive, but he had to win the duel. Darla seemed decent; she was still evil, but at least she was on his side for now. "Your move, parasite." he said. "I will help your lighter half so he can defeat the demon within him." decided Atemu. "You will have no power after I win this duel."

Amme recoiled a bit but glared at him. Her item was supposed to protect her from the other Millennium items, but it still kept her cautous of this being. She had to, there was nobody else who would protect her- she had to protect herself if need be. And as far as she remembered from her past life, that's how it always was. When she had no sight, she had to fend for herself. She did not speak to it again, he wasn't just talking, he would do it if she annoyed him. But she kept an eye on him as Darla and Renoko taunted him. She could feel it getting colder and mistier.
Yami Marik snickered from time to time when the two girls spoke. He did not respond however, he just stared at them with madness in his eyes. Especially Darla. "Oh yes," he murmured to himself. He was summoning the shadow magic within his item. The room became clouded and dark. "It is my turn isn't it?" he said sarcastically. He couldn't concentrate on the duel at the moment, he wanted to fill his need for death. And Darla was so perfect, her diminish would be so sweet. He pointed at her and snickered deviously, "You first." He used his shadow magic to rip Darla from Lerena's body. Darla did not have her own body, so the only thing he could do to her is send her to the shadow realm. He pointed his Millennium Rod at her and summoned it's power. Slowly Darla began to disappear, Yami Marik made sure to make it as agonizing as possible. Once he was finished, he glared at Lerena with the same type of madness he's had in his eyes. "And now for you," he said licking his lips. He lifted the rod to the sky, readying to bestow his dark magic unto her.
Amme gasped when she watched him eliminate Darla. She couldn't let him hurt Lerena! He was a monster, she couldn't watch someone take another's life! She dashed as soon as he even as much glanced at Lerena. She ran in front of Lerena and summoned her Orb to neautralize Yami Marik's attacks. The other items may be stronger then hers, but at least she could protect herself and other's by neautralizing the other items. When Yami Marik swung the rod down, it was like a aura like shield absorbing the shadow magic. Ammeterasu's eyes glared defiently at the being as the attack ended.
Yami Marik screamed with aggravation as the attack did nothing to Lerena. From anger, he back handed Amme in the face. "Get out of my way! Leave me to my kill you filthy swine!" he screamed at her.
Amme fell back and to the ground when she was struck. Not only was she fairly physically weak, but he was quite strong. She sat up and placed a hand on her face. Blood drizzled out from her nose, she used her hand to wipe it off. She was a bit startled from from the strike but she should have seen it coming.
He grabbed Lerena by her arm and pulled her close to him, "I'm going to enjoy ripping that pretty skin from your..." he stopped suddenly. The madness in his eyes faded for a moment to blank eyes. They then came back and he gripped onto Lerena even harder. He turned his head away from her and stared at nothing, "Shut up! Shut the ******** up you ungrateful brat! I can do whatever I want! I made you who you were today! I'm the reason you survived! And I'll do as I please!"
[[I hope this came out ok. I didn't want to make Lerena seem week, it's just Yami Marik is really strong. FFFF Amme getting beaten on as usual XD]]

((Psh, it came out fine. Lerena is unable to get away from Yami Marik's grip though. Haha. xD))
Atemu glared at the manifestation and growled softly. He was mad at Yami Marik for banishing Darla. The former pharaoh had believed there was still a chance to save Darla from being the evil soul she was now. He was unsure of what he should do. Suddenly, Amme was struck by Yami Marik and this made Atemu cry out. "Ammeterasu! You parasite! How dare you harm her!" he said. If he left the field to tend to Ammeterasu, the duel would be interrupted and he might possibly be the loser. If he lost, then he would never forgive himself. Atemu had to stay strong and keep dueling. When Lerena was grabbed, his eyes widened. It seemed that Marik was fighting the darkness in his heart; this parasite. Peering down at his hand, he began to think of what his next move should be. Even though Lerena had stolen his Millennium Puzzle earlier, he could not allow her to die. He looked at Lerena as her eyes widened. "Lerena! Do not give up! Marik is in there somewhere and you may be able to help him get rid of his dark side!"
Renoko glared at Yami Marik. Her shoes disappeared, only to be replaced by the Millennium Thigh Highs, but her sister stopped her from taking action. "Why?! This creature..."
"Shut up, Pharaoh. Start thinking of a strategy to beat this manifestation. Renoko, I know that." said Lerena. "But he's in a duel and interrupting him is a bad idea." she remarked with a mischievous smirk at Yami Marik. She now knew the secrets of her past; the sins she committed. Her eyes moved back to Renoko. The Millennium Claw that Darla had materialized was gone now and she winced. She tried to escape from Yami Marik's grip, but it was impossible; Yami Marik was too strong and Lerena was weaker than him. Was this what it meant to be weaker than someone? She had long forgotten this feeling. This was a being she refused to fight, because the man she loved still lurked within him. "Looks like Marik isn't as weak as you thought he was." she said with a sly smirk. "You parasite, I have faith that Marik will overpower you and become stronger than ever. Now make your move."
"I respect your wishes, Lerena. Thanks to some careful analyzations, I now realize that attacking is not the proper course of action to take. I apologize." stated Renoko. Her Millennium Thigh Highs did not disappear. She looked at Ammeterasu. "Thanks for protecting my sister. Lerena and I might consider changing our ways after this. Maybe. It all depends on what Marik is like without the presence of his dark side."
"Lerena has a point. Make your move, unless of course Marik has finally found the strength to overpower you." said Atemu with a smirk. "I will not let you get away with harming Ammeterasu and banishing Darla! You can't have everything your way." he told Yami Marik with a scowl. The situation was serious. He had to defeat Yami Marik so he couldn't do any more damage. "If you even come close to harming Lerena, your fate will be sealed. No, in fact, your fate has already been sealed. Marik is destined to overpower you. I truly believe that." he added.
Lerena rolled her eyes. At least he seemed to finally understand that Yami Marik's grip was pretty painful. "Marik-sama...please defeat your dark side." thought Lerena. Why did she have to be so weak and unable to help the one she loved? Her eyes looked so empty now, so emotionless and so lost. Darla was gone and Lerena somehow felt that a part of her was now missing. But why? After Darla caused all that trouble, why did it feel like there was more to her than her actions?

Amme jumped up and took a step back. She was still a bit startled, but she had to stay on guard. She was a bit shocked to hear Atemu call her name, just because she was shocked anybody cared. But there was no time to think about it, this monster still had Lerena in his grip. It was like a complete stand still, everyone was glaring at one another, see what the other would do. She looked over at Renoko, still wiping her nose a bit, "You're welcome," she paused and looked at Marik, "he's not a bad person- the actual Marik, he's just very alone." She could understand that, Amme felt very alone too, however she and Marik were not the same. They just, had the same fears so to say. But who didn't want to be alone?
"The boy IS weak, he's just a nuisance," he said getting in Lerena's face. All of their comments kept him unfocus, he tried to focus to push Marik back down into his subconscious.
/I swear to god if you don't let go of her hand I will chop off my own hand just so you can't hurt her anymore!/ Marik screamed at the being that took over.
"You really have a big mouth on you don't you?" Yami Marik said out loud but to his host. "Besides you wouldn't dare, you treasure yourself too much to do so for this weak little ******** b***h," he added.
Marik went on to scream as much obscenities as he could. He couldn't let this thing hurt Lerena, especially in his body! His subconscious was like a deep well he couldn't get out of. Of course, it wasn't really a well, but an imagery created by Marik to understand this state of mind. To reclaim his body was equivalent to climbing out of the well. And he attempted, and every time Yami Marik shoved him down underneath the water- drowning him. But when he started hurting Lerena, he was able to keep climbing upward. /When I reclaim my body I'm going to extinguish you myself!/ he growled. He could feel Lerena's sorrow and pain, he couldn't be this weak and let some parasite take over his body like this! Could he not protect anyone or anything?
"And how? With what power?" he said out loud again. "Face it boy, you have no way of destroying me. You may hide me away but I'll always come back. I'll always be a part of you," he snickered.
He was right, he had no power to banish his own spirit away- there was no way. He still had to take back control, even if that meant living with this thing his whole life.
Ammeterasu could see the struggle between the two. Did this thing have no intention to finish the duel? It had continually ignored all of their demands to finish the duel. She closed her eyes and thought hard, she knew she had the power to heal people, but to exorcise spirits? She was never fully trained to do so, but there were many things she was never taught that the orb was able to do. She tried to think of anything that would tell her the answer. If this being was an parasite- harming the body- then technically wouldn't she be able to alleviate it? She growled a bit, "I can't remember," she murmured to herself. Then she just realized something, if Yami Marik was talking out loud to himself, then that meant that the real Marik could hear everything and sense everything that was going on! "Marik! Listen to me, if you take back control of your body then I can remove that being from your soul," she instructed. She needed him to be able to overcome this thing, even if that meant guessing at her own skills. She highly doubted she could do so, but at least things would be under control.
"You lie!" Yami Marik hissed. "Go ahead and try and you'll just end up dead just like she'll be in a minute," he added.
"I can if you repress him. I need to be able to touch you as well," she spoke out to Marik. "If that's so then why haven't you been able to move? Marik has stopped you from moving most of your body, he's close," she added.
Yami Marik growled, he had been trying to move his body to start ripping this girl apart, but he couldn't. He tried raising his other hand to choke her, it came slowly and struggled, but never reached her neck. Had the girl's promise encouraged him? He felt his own presence slip away and face to the darkness he had lived in for years. His grip lessened but he pushed Lerena away from him. Marik had almost full control of his body. He didn't mean to push her so hard, but he didn't want her near incase HE came back.
"You better be right woman. Hurry up!," he said to Ammeterasu. Marik panted as his eyes readjusted. His body felt like it had gone through hell and back, he was completely exhausted.
Amme approached Marik slowly as her orb glowed. She remained silent and focused on what she had to try and do. She touched his forehead and concentrated.
[[I was thinking that Amme's powers don't eliminate manifestations like this and Yami Marik comes back. Perhaps then Atemu can step in and send Yami Marik to the shadow realm? I was going to have him strike Lerena, but I wasn't sure if that would be too much for her. I was thinking that when Yami Marik comes back he's going to probably strike (or beat on) Amme again. If you want to traumatize Lerena as well (lol) she can be standing near them too and he could strike her as well. I don't mind beating on my own characters but I always feel uneasy doing so to others XD. Well none-the-less, I guess Atemu's motivation for sending the guy to the shadow realm would be beating on the women again? haha]]

((Lerena's body is built to handle a lot of pain, because I'm a sadist. ninja Her arms can handle a lot of pain as well as her back. It's because of Cobra that she learned to withstand such pain and live through it. I like your idea, but Lerena isn't one to become traumatized. In fact, Yami Marik has angered her. Atemu will send Yami Marik to the shadow realm. Though, Lerena will need a lot of comfort after this is all over. She's so sensitive underneath that tough heart, haha. It's hard to make her cry, but that doesn't make her any less sensitive. What do you think we should do with Darla? Should she be released from the shadow realm after Yami Marik is sent there?))
Lerena stumbled forward until she fell into Renoko's comforting embrace. She pulled back from her sister and stood next to her. Crossing her arms, she asked a question. "Renoko, do you think I'm weak? Marik's dark side pisses me off just as much as Darla pisses him off. For me to be born with such a physically weak body; even though I can withstand a lot of pain, it's still a drag." remarked Lerena darkly. Even as she had spoken these words, she was far more angry than she was willing to show everyone. There was a difference between an intelligent rampage and a stupid one. "It's no use being envious. Even if this fails, the 'Chosen One' hasn't made an attempt to get rid of Marik's dark side." Lerena said sarcastically, really hoping that Atemu wouldn't have to be the one to save Marik. "The fact these people are helping us is still strange."
"Lerena, don't ask me such a pointless question. As your sister, you should know what I'm going to say by now. We can talk about this later. It's pointless to discuss personal matters in public. That's where you're judged the most." answered Renoko. She wanted to be more compassionate to her sister, because she needed it. But It wasn't truly over unless Ammeterasu succeeded. Should she fail, things might get ugly again. "It would only be strange for them to help us if helping people wasn't in their nature. However, don't let your guard down. Pharaoh, I wouldn't let your guard down either. It's not over just yet. Be ready to be the back-up plan." she advised the formed pharaoh with a serious glance.
Atemu nodded. He didn't like the idea of being considered a back-up plan, but he did say he would help Marik. No rude remark could change his mind. Now that Marik had control again, Atemu hoped it would stay that way. Renoko's comment did make sense even if she hated men. It seemed that Renoko at least wanted Lerena to be happy. Those thigh highs she was wearing would've surely made for a dangerous kick. Maybe she cared about Marik's safety, because Marik was important to Lerena. "I'll be ready if Ammeterasu fails." he said. "But I hope she doesn't. I haven't been able to see her put her Millennium Orb's powers to use. I looked forward to seeing its abilities."
Lerena nodded at Renoko. She knew her sister well and the look in Renoko's eyes meant she wasn't ready to relax until Yami Marik was dead. "You better succeed, Ammeterasu. That manifestation has a tight grip and I think it's going to leave a mark." she said in a sarcastic voice. By now, the anger she was feeling was corrupting her. She felt sarcastic and obnoxious, but she could never be that way to Marik; she loved him too much. It was only Atemu that hadn't earned her respect so far. Even so, she couldn't resist the sarcastic remark at Ammeterasu. "By the way, that may have sounded like a threat, but I'm just irritable. After being called weak, I may be a bit angry for awhile. A part of myself just got sent to the shadow realm and Marik's dark side expected me to be at full strength? Pathetic. I hope he suffers in there!" She walked over to the wall, beckoning for Renoko to follow her. Renoko nodded and walked over to the wall. The two sisters leaned against it. "As long as Renoko and I are over here, we're safe." she explained. Her father said that her and Renoko couldn't be sent to the shadow realm, because of the Millennium Items that he had created. Lerena didn't want to test that. Yami Marik might be strong enough to send her to the shadow realm, because Darla was sent there. Though, Lerena was the dominant personality. It didn't matter, because Lerena wasn't foolish enough to give Yami Marik a chance to try it and now Atemu was being used as back-up.
