Vaine smiled, "Not at all miss. The only things that would change would be the fact that you'd need to get him lathered in a special ointment my friend makes when he goes out in the sun, He'll need at least a glass of blood a day, and he won't age much more than this." He brushed the kids hair back and kissed his forehead, "However, I can bite him within a half an hour after he dies, so let's wait to see what the healer can do."
Anabel left Ive and knelt beside Vaine, "What about the whole eternal damnation thing?" she whispered in his ear with a look of concern on his face.
"No worries love." he assured her, "I have a spell so I can take on that burden."
"But!"
Vaine hushed her and smiled, "I'm already going there anyways... It can't get too much worse. And hell! At this rate I might just beat Kartane in the number of sins committed." he smiled and wiped the tears from her eyes, "I got it here Anabel... You might want to answer mister pompous pants before he blows another casket and really pisses Ive off."
Anabel nodded and returned to Ive's desk, taking a seat in one of the chairs by him, "I'm afraid i cannot tell you his name... He wished for me to not say. However, If you are willing to stick around for a couple days... he must return for this ring in two more days... and you can talk to him personally."

The magistrate smiled standing up and set the folded piece of paper in Anabel's hand. "This is a transfer of assets order, any further presence here will cause Constance to strike, and Constance would break the order given to him. We are in accord, i must go, I have named my successor within the order, and I will use my remaining energy to save the boy. I believe it would be the will of my maker to do so."
The magistrate keeled down placing his hands on the wound. His body began to vaporize as his feet, and slowly work its way up. The bluish particles like a haze flowed into the wound repairing the torn flesh and wounded organs. A small dagger clattered on the floor beside the boy, the etching on it very beautiful, the makers stamp matching that of the one on the stone that held the note for Vaine the night before.
The injury to the boy was still present, but the energy bought a considerable amount of time.
The letter:
(the normal blah blah blah of legal language to transfer assets to Anabel)
I name my successor to be Ive unless she wishes to find someone else to fill the role. I appreciate the efforts of Lord Vaine, it is with hope I buy enough time so that he does not need to live with such a burden, please do not hold my actions against my maker, my task was set long before he met you.

Anabel picked up the dagger and laid the blade in the boy's hands and brushed his hair back, "Be strong little one, Your daddy is bring help." she then got up and handed the document to Ive, "You're the new magistrate... i guess. Have fun!"
Ive grinned as she read over the document, "I can't believe it..."
Vaine rolled his eyes and snatched the document away from Ive, "Hell, You can't give her that Anabel... If it was up to her, Every man in Nictaros would be in jail!"
Ive growled, "Well, Hiro's safe... So long as he marries me! If not... He'll be in the same cell as you... Solitary confinement!"

The husband came back inside the healer on his heels. He sat back down with his wife while the healer began the process of putting the remaining wound back together. The healer spoke up; "This one is going to make it, what about the other missing child...?

"One thing at a time sir... I had to get this one back or let him die in my arms!" Vaine stood up and growled, "Geez... I may be a ******** vampire, but i'm not a miracle worker!" He made his way to the door and grumbled, "... I'll work on finding the other kid... and that stupid b***h that thinks she can ******** around in my woods."
Ive rose from her bed and stretched, "You guys are welcome to use this room till morning, but i must return to the bar... It's about this time when the boys get rowdy.
Anabel smiled and bowed to the family, "I am glad you son is going to be fine, and i'm sure Vaine will find your son, and he will be fine as well. I am also very sorry for all the trouble i have caused... Please forgive me."

The healer looked at Vaine; 'I didn't mean to rush you at all, I was just asking is all, and sorry if i offended you." The healer went back to work on his patient.

The families looked in different direction other then Anabel. The husband that fetched the healer spoke up looking at Anabel; "We can't blame you, you're being used as we are, and its something you seem to be taking better then we are."

(for the sake making this easy for me I'll give our little pain in the a** a name)
Mei sat in boarding room, the actual guests of the room were sitting along the wall with the eldest boy she had captured earlier. the heavy curtains were drawn across the window, and once the normal time for this couple to go lights out was reached she put out the lamps. Mei had learned from her little encounter with Anabel that staying out of the woods was key to her survival. However, she had to make sure they looked in the woods first, and she made sure her first victim would take awhile to die so that whomever found him would spend time before going back out to look. Either way her life was over, either by their hands, or by Dagon's. She preferred their hands since Dagon's cruelty would be without a doubt a long ordeal."

Vaine had searched for hours in the woods, and come to the conclusion that no one was there. a bit disappointed, he drug himself back to the bar to find Ive already spreading the word of the missing kid, and a hooded female who took him. He smiled at her efforts and dropped himself on the bar, "Gimme something strong Ive... I'll need it if i'm going to be out all night, and morning looking for this damned kid."
Ive smiled and began mixing him a drink.

Anabel nodded and paced around the room a bit worried, "To think this used to be the quiet part of town... Now look at it... Lord Dagon becomes more and more interested by the second."
She sat down on Ives bed and looked at the floor, "Do you suppose if I left this town and went far far away... the trouble would leave here?"

I will not run, change the rules of her game the ring was slightly warmer in her hands and began to cool to normal again.
The healer shook his head; "He is only interested in the weapon maker, I doubt he would do nothing to us, or he would have sent soldiers already."
one of the wives spoke up; "He is coming back for his ring, so why not wait until then to decide, this situation could be over with by then, and you would not need to leave town."

"How do you know Her motives?" Anabel asked as she pulled the ring to her chest, "And she'd have to kill me before she got his ring. I won't let it out of my sight." She gripped the ring tighter and shivered slightly while thinking of dying over a ring that belonged to a man whom she had known for two days and didn't love her; According to Ive.

"Here's your drink... With a few drops of blood... on the house." Ive grumbled as she sucked her pricked thumb and set the shot down in front of Vaine.
He smiled and slammed the shot, "... Thanks."
Ive leaned down on the bar, her breasts bulging from her top, "So where you gonna start looking for this little boy?" she purred as she waited for his answer.
He smiled, "Well, I'd like to just sweep through town... stopping at any shady places i know about and interrogating people for answers..." Vaine pulled his gaze away from Ive's distraction, and sighed, "... I just wish i had some sort of a lead to go on." He glanced over his shoulders and saw Ive looking up at him innocently, ".. If you don't put them away.... I'm going to bite them."
Ive sat up and grumbled, "Fine fine... I just like to watch you squirm... It's fun to torture men."
Vaine rolled his eyes and set the glass in front of her, "Gimme another."

The ring warmed up again; I listened as you listened, now prey upon her fear of this Dagon, raise your voice in the street against her.

She hesitated striking the boy in our midst, and his wound was worsened by a shaking hand. Do you trust the vampire that brought this child with your life?
The ring was a nice comforting warm now, like holding warm water in the hand, and it seeped down her arms towards her body.

Give me to him, and stay with him, and there is nothing to worry yourself over. The boy will not be harmed, i don't think she is as strong willed a person as she talks herself up to be. I must save the remaining energy for a short message for him if you choose that path to take.

Anabel stood up and left the room to go to the bar and sat next to Vaine.
"Hey princess... How's the kid doing?" Vaine slurred as he slammed another shot.
"He'll be fine... You shouldn't be slamming shots if you're going after that girl." Anabel growled as she met his eyes.
Vaine felt the disappointment in her eyes and sighed, "Alright.... No more for me Ive..."
Ive nodded and went off to serve another patron.
"So what's wrong love?"
Anabel remained silent, and took Vaine's hand. He blushed softly, but followed her movements. She opened his hand and pressed her other hand into his open one. the ring laid between their palms, and she removed her hand , rolling his fingers around the ring, "Don't do anything reckless with it or I won't forgive you."
Vaine stared at her a bit confused and nodded, "Alright, I think I can manage that..."
