The first post isn't counted on the counter, and the prizes aren't really an official thing. Part of the reason is that I usually just pick the approximate post that has the mark, because deleted posts are counted, the first post isn't and I don't pay enough attention for it to be correct enough to be official. I also don't count myself for the prize, so the post before or after would get it, hence, why it isn't an official contest thing,
I do suggest you not double post just to try to get the mark.

whee That was the point. I couldn't believe it yesterday or the day before when I realized that I hadn't given the 300th and 400th for Intro and chat. That was bothersome, mostly just finding where on the Congrats thread list they belonged. xp
