Fred laughed. "Why wouldn't I be happy. You are the best thing that has happened to me ever. I am very happy to have met you and I want you to be happy with me if that is possible."

Sara laughed even harder. "Well I guess that makes us even then. We both are happy for each other and want the other to be satisfied." She held out a paw in a hand shake gesture. "Although when you pick a mate you look through your heart and not the eyes."

Fred laughed and offered her his paw, shaking it as he smiled at her. "I can tell you this much. This is not how I planned my day on ending. You know that?" he said a licked her cheek.

Sara nodded her head. "Me too. Although I love it in a way." She smiled before shaking his paw back. "I've always wanted a family. Does that sound ridiculous to you?"

Fred shook his head no. "Why would it sound ridiculous to me. It's good to want a family. It means you are normal in a good way. And it means there is something deep to your heart." Fred tried to explain and felt ridiculous himself.

Sara smirked. "Alright then. You and me are a family." She thought out the idea. "It sounds nice. Doesn't it?" She stretched out. "You ready to head back? The sun's going down and we probably head back before it gets too dark."

Fred nodded. "Sure, let's go" and with that he stood up and stretched while waiting for her, not that he minded waiting as he enjoyed a nice slow pace himself.

Sara smiled and got up. "Alright." She then walked down the hill towards her home. "So...do you want us to live separate or together?"

Fred smiled at her. Either is fine with me, though I'd like to be at least nearby, especially if we decide to have kits. I want to spend time with you, and future little ones." he explained and followed her.

Sara nodded her head. "Oh yes. I agree on that." She smiled. "Well I can continue to live in my burrow for now. It's pretty close, but if we end up with kits then I'll move in with you. Does that sound better?"

Fred smiled. "Or do you want me to move in with you? I have no strong ties to the mansion and its close enough to visit. Plus, you shouldn't be moving if you are pregnant."

Sara cocked her head to the side. "Really? Well I can stay here for now...it's not like I'm going to be pregnant any time soon." She sighed. "Although that would be nice."

Sara nodded her head. "Yep yep." She was a bit worried. There had been other foxes in the past that had tried to get her pregnant, but it almost seemed to never work. Should she tell him of what was? "Just wondering...what if I never did have kids?"
(She really isn't infertile I'm just giving her a bit more of a difficult past since she's my plain jane hard working trying to cope with life smiling all the time fox.)
