Before Emelyn could get a word out of Ambrose, people were skipping over from every corner to speak with them. She beamed at Awen, stepping away from Ambrose with one cursory 'I'll be back' glance at him over her shoulder.
"Thank you! And I do like your... 'human' costume," she laughed.

Ambrose smiled down to Emelyn, feeling for all the world like a chivalrous knight, swelling with a happiness that he hadn't felt in many months.
Even Julian seemed to be having a good time that night.
He looked over to Emelyn. "Well, there aren't that many people here - though at least two unfamiliar faces... and..." His eyes lit on Hargun, and he swallowed, seeing that someone might not be having as good as a time. She had changed again by the looks of it.... the poor girl... and her hands. He wondered if she would be able to draw still with how much they had changed. Hopefully, though, with the night's festivities, she could still enjoy herself. And he wouldn't draw attention to it.
Looking back to his lovely date, he replied, "we seem to have already made a splash, my dear. Would you care for some of the hours d'ouvres?"
He looked up to see a spunky girl with blue hair (but no other recognizable animal features) approach with a smile. "Hello there" Ambrose said with a chivalric bow. "It is a pleasure, Miss Awen. My name is Ambrose. Ambrose Maurlias."

She put a finger up to Awen, apologizing for the hectic nature of the party, and turned back to... dare she even think the word? Her... date. She nodded at his suggestion for food- but he was diverted again by Awen, and so she waited.

He drained another glass, watching the others in silence...then skulked towards the door, aiming to sit just outside.
He needed some fresh air.
Julian's tolerance for alcohol...wasn't...very good.

Lauren came back to the party, definately feeling better and after refreshing her corpse like makeup. She decided maybe that mongooses did NOT deal well with whatever that drink was so she would stick to water from now on.
Her outfit was still that of an undead gothic lollita Dorothy, the blue dress all torn up and red ruby goth boots buckling up all the way to her mid thigh. Her hair was covered in a brown wig complete with braids and a huge blue ribbon, that torn as well.
"Dun dun dun duuun!" She tried to imitate a trumpet loudly placeing her clawed hands around her mouth in an effort to make herself heard by all. "NOW ENTERING GUEST LAUREN GRANGER... ACCOMPIANIED BY... HERSELF!" Her tail wagged in amusement at her own lame joke.
Then she proceeded back to fill her plate with those yummy chocolate covered ants.

((Sorry to jump out after just coming in, but I've got something I have to finish for tomorrow that I just really figured out I can't get done tomorrow morning, like I thought. [Drat- you lose again, procrastination! XD] So if anyone wants to know...Em is over by the goodies, stuffing her face and/or looking for Greer, because she has something for her. Ta, ladies and gents!))

Awen giggled a little bit. So this was the one that Sabin had been talking about. the wolf. She grinned, Ambrose certainly seemd to show the noble nature of the wolf than the viciousness Sabin had. She was glad Ambrose had it, though he might just be playing his costume... like Sabin was. "Pleasure Ambrose, but just Awen please!" She hated formalities.
She smiled and nodded to Emelyn. "Well I better let you guys get to the snacks..." She passed them by going towards Juli-Shire and turned on her heel after a few steps. "Oh and try the jelloy stuff it's great!"
She grinned and moved closer to the Lauren. Playfuly Awen gave Lauren a little nudge. "Nice entrance." She laughed softly.

Ambrose smiled to Awen. "It's nice to meet you, Awen then." The formality and nobility seemed genuine enough despite the appropriateness of his outfit.
After giving Emelyn a patt on the shoulder, and a whispered comment about getting food for the lady, he went to the concessions table to pick out two platefulls of food. He put several of the meatballs on his plate, along wiht a few of the 'finger' sandwiches. He paused at the bowl full of insects, but decided to pass, but grabbed a few of the candies instead.
He filled a plate for Emelyn with a variety, and, with a smirk, put a big crunchy-looking grasshopper on her plate.
Ambrose smiled and waved to Hargun, happy to see her smiling - and dressed up quite nicely herself!

Cass seemed to have temporarily lost her date. Well. Vasile really couldn't have gone too far.
Garbed in alien-wear, she lurked in her wheelchair in the corner with a glass of rum and coke; the scales on her hands, throat, and stubby former feet were plainly visible, as well as on the tail that poked through the back of the chair. Her mask was pushed back so that she could drink.
She hadn't really been speaking to anyone this evening.

Hargun grinned as Lauren made her marvelous presence known.
"Hey Lauren." she exclaimed, actually getting tired of all the entrees.
She walked over and scooped some of the ants Lauren hadnt taken and tried to eat it likea handful of sunflower seeds. After chewing them, she looked around, everything unclear then asked. "So.. whose that with Ambrose?"

Lauren smiled at Awen's nudge, "Thanks, well sometimes I would think people get bored of all those Hey's and Hello's, wanted to spice things up a bit." She waved at Hargun. "Ah you love the chocolate covered ants as well! Oh and look, there's more bugs on the table!! Maybe I don't have to have them chocolate covered." She shuddered a bit. "Well, maybe I'm not ready for that QUITE yet."
She smiled at Hargun, "That's Emelyn, I didn't know they were dateing" She shrugged her shoulders.
Lauren nodded at Ambrose, Emelyn and someone she hadn't met yet but has seen transform... the snake girl Cassidy. She also gave a knowing smile towards Sabin who seemed to still be successful at blending in and even more so at being creepy.

Vasile emerged from the crowd with a martini is hand, and scouted for Cass. He found her and santered up, giving her a dashing grin. Yes. He definately needed a party. Small and lame as it was, he didn't care. THere were people, music, and alcohol. And women, of course. So plenty for him to have a good time.

Sabin remined in the corner by the concessions, especially trying to keep out of the way that Cassidy and Vasile were here - two of the people who would very well recognize him and perhaps blow his cover, that he was having ever so much fun playing with.
He raised his glass with a smile to Lauren at her entrance, and picked out a plate of food, sitting down at one of the chairs out of the way to eat.

Awen smiled. "Yeah that's true I guess..." She looked around at the tent starting to pick up. She realised just how few people she had actually met on the island. And wondered vaguely how many more there were. She looked to the one in the wheelchair and her smile faltered a little bit. It didn't seem to be quite natural. She wondered if the feathers were a part of her costume...but it seemed a little out of place?
She shrugged a little bit and decided for now just to refill her punch glass and move over to the clusters of chairs. She turned to Lauren and Hargun and waved a bit. "See ya guys."
Something just made her stomach a little uneasy and thought she might want to stay away from the growing crowd at the snack table for now.
