Sayori smiled and kissed the tip of her nose. "Good morning, Megumi..." He mumbled, as his hand rose to stroke her hair. "Let's just take the day off. We've been working hard non-stop lately so let's just take today to recuperate. After all, I feel like I've been ignoring you lately..."
With his eyes now open, Sayori reached above the two and grabbed the shade's control. He smiled at his lieutenant, as he twisted his wrist, putting the room in a state of total darkness.

Megumi let out another squeak, "S-Sayori...." She blushed darkly, "Sayori...This isn't funny....I-I don't like the dark..." She knew he was teasing her, but...Being in the dark wasn't something she liked a lot.

Sayori smiled and did as Megumi suggested - opening the shades. With the room in a new light, Sayori could see his lieutenant's dark blush. A small grin would grace his face as he whispered into her ear, "You're blushing..."

"I-I AM NOT!!" She closed her eyes and shoved Sayori out of the bed with all her might. A reflex she usually did when someone was close to her and was teasing her. Mamosuke bursted out laughing from the corner of the room. Megumi opened her eyes and nearly had a heart attack seeing what she did, "I-I'M SO SORRY SAYORI!!" She panicked and got out of bed to help him up, "R-REFLEX!! SORRY SORRY!!"

Sayori was smiling untill Megumi pushed him away. The entire sequence happened so fast, that he had no chance to stop her. At one moment, Sayori was happily laying down in bed, but in just a matter of seconds he was across the room and crashed into one of his many book shelves.
He laid there in a daze, trying to make sense of what happened. "I-I'm okay...No need to be sorry. It was my fault..." He mumbled as a few of the shelves contents fell on top of his head - including the small box he hid up there last night. "Scratch that...I think I may be bleeding internally."

That did not make Megumi feel better. Instead of calming down, she began to panic more. "Ohnohnohonohono!!!" She ran around in a circle, "I-I hurt Sayori! I-I'm a horrible person!!!!" Mamosuke sweat dropped as she ran, "I think she's having another panic attack...." "WAH!! I'M SORRY!"

Taking a deep breath, Sayori reached outward toward Megumi and whispered, "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat... Bakudo #9, Strike." as a dark red light shot forth from his hand. If the Bakudo made contact, it would freeze Megumi in place, allowing Sayori to talk to her, without her freaking out - hopefully.

Megumi blushed darkly feeling really full of shame now. "I-I'm sorry Sayori....I freaked out again and panicked over the top didn't I?"

Sayori began chuckling as he stood from where he once lay. "Megumi, of course you did." He laughed, explaining the situation to her. "You always do, but that's one of your distinguishing characteristics. It's also one of the many things I love about you." He said as he hugged her from behind. While to her he may seem like a big flirt, Sayori was actually quite more. He had actually hugged her, so she would not fall when he released the bakudo.
He smiled as he held her now limp body in his arms. "Ya know...we've been in the same squad for a good decade or two." He whispered. "Maybe we could go on a vacation - together?"

"A vacation?" Megumi frowned and thought a moment, "That sounds nice....But what about the paper work that we need to do? Will we be alllowed to go?" She really did want to spend time with Sayori, but if it was going to be a problem for their jobs...

Sayori smiled, swaying side-to-side, with Megumi in his arms. "Yeah, but I haven't taken a day off in the fifty nine years. I think I'm entitled to have just one day away from the job to spend, as I wish. Besides squad nine is prepared to handle any occurrences in my absence." He said with an obvious smile. "I could get Isaac to make us some Gigai. Maybe I'll even put a reishi sealing barrier on them so we don't disturb anyone. We could go to the beach, if you want."

"Great, I'll stop by Squad 12 soon. Only there's one condition: You'll have to be measured for a Gigai." He said with a slight blush crossing his face.

"Huh?" Megumi frowned in confusion, "Why are you blushing? It can't be that bad can it?" She didn't seem to think that measuring herself was something embarassing....Right?

Sayori let go of Megumi and headed to the door. He opened the door, looking at her as he said, "My measurements are on file, but Isaac needs to measure you for your gigai." With a smile on his face, Sayori began walking to the twelfth squad saying, "Come on... we need to hurry. We're departing for the human world as soon as your gigai is done."
