"I like the people in the area too." It wasn't like he had anywhere to be, anyone that depended on him. When she started off again he noticed he could see instruments in the next section. "Ah, there is what we are looking for."

Picking up her pace, Vesna nodded reaching the aisle, noticing a fair amount of stall watchers still around. "Looks like we have plenty of time to look." The first thing she noticed was a small harp and went over, plucking at a couple strings. "I think these are lovely."

Raist was glad there was a selection of stalls and not just on or two. It's hard to find something you really like if you don't have a good group to look from. He nodded. "They are, I've never played a harp, wonder if it's like guitars." He picked up some sort of stringed instrument and looked it over.

Vesna shook her head. "I don't know. Don't guitars have only a few strings?" She set the harp down, picking up next a small flute, called a piccolo, and played with the buttons absentmindedly. "Does that mean you've played a guitar before?"

He nodded his head. "Yep, guitars have very few compared to harps. I think harps can get pretty big." Raist motioned both his hands out as if to show a width. "I've been playing the guitar for a while."

Vesna cocked her head, then nodded. "I'm sure someone has a guitar if you'd like to buy what you know already." She looks around, but doesn't see one at this stall. She turns and scans the others nearby. "Maybe further down..."

Raistlin nodded again and glanced down the isle. "Guitar would be best I think." Without thinking he takes her hand and starts to walk to another stall in look of an instrument. "I think I see one over there."

"Okay!" Vesna felt silly with delight when Raist took her hand, leading her along the aisle. How nice this felt! It took her a moment to be able to look away from the male to look at the instruments. Yep, there on the back wall hung actually two sturdy but nice looking guitars. "Looks like you get to pick instead of having just one choice tonight." She blushed when the female cervitaur behind the counter snickered, knowing exactly what the other had laughed about.
The owner of the stall was giving the most obvious 'I am a prime female, come away with me' look to Raistlin that anyone had ever seen, and obviously thought herself a better 'choice' for the cute male. She ignored Vesna and whatever relationship the two customers might have with each other, leaning against the counter on her palms, batting her eyes. "See anything you like, handsome?"

He had looked past the stall owner and at the instruments when they arrived at the one. Raist rose a brow at the snicker, then understanding the other implication to the words. When the new female batted her eyes, he almost laughed. Sure the stall owner was pretty but everything wasn't about looks. "Those guitars you have on the back wall look nice. Might I see them?"

The owner smiled and nodded, turning to give her best sillouette before facing the guitars, pulling both down off the wall. She set one on the counter for Raist and held the other in a pose against her hip, also for Raist. "These are both hand crafted by my family. They've been doing it for generations."
Vesna kept her eyes down, half-hiding at Raist's side, face tucked at his shoulder. If Raistlin wasn't standing so sturdily and securely at her side, she would have just backed off and gone elsewhere. Hopefully, he hadn't forgotten about her in leu of the pretty face in front of them.

Raistlin nodded in thanks and picked up the guitar that had been set on the counter. He turned it around and studied it for a moment while the owner talked. Before setting it down he plucked a few strings. "Can I see the other as well?" The first would do but he decided to look at the second as well.

"You sure can." She leaned forward to hand Raist the other guitar, allowing him the advantage of the view of her, er, cleavage. Or, as she called it, her 'final strike' in making a selling deal with male customers. She brushed her finger tips lightly against Raist's hand as he took the instrument from her, smiling sweetly the entire time. "They are of the finest quality. No second rate guitars here."
Vesna was silent the entire time, though sought to keep her place, if only a little. "I like the first one better." She said in a small voice, receiving an 'are you still here?' glance from the other female. She ducked back behind Raist's arm.

Raist almost laughed again, seeing the show the other female was putting on. She was trying way to hard. When Vesna spoke he glanced over at her, noting she was almost hiding behind him and he nodded. "I agree, there was just something about the first one that I really liked." He looked over the second guitar again. "This second one just seems to gaudy for me."

The female lifted her nose slightly in irritation. "Well, everyone has their own tastes, don't they." Of course, the one Raistlin had called "gaudy" was the one the female had designed herself. Suddenly, she wasn't so flirty anymore, arms crosses loosely in front of her chest. "So, it'll be the first one then?"
Seeing the other female's reaction, Vesna could not help but to bear a small smirk of triumph. Like her father had told her, looks weren't everything. Maybe he really was right...

Ah, he could tell he hit a cord there. He sensed some other implications of his words. "I'll get the first. It might not be as decorated buy simple is better sometimes." Raist grinned and handed the female some money, taking the guitar from her. "Shall we get going Vesna?"
