Angus of the Crooked Way I don't play with a shoulder rest anymore though XD How do you stop the violin from getting you in the squishy part between your shoulder and collarbone?

It takes some getting used to and a lot of work out of Kreutzer and Flesch Scale Book. My teacher and I use a bit of Chamois to hold the violin more comfortably. Ask your teacher and watch videos of Heifetz and Oistrakh and other great masters. Personally, you will feel much freer and more comfortable after you get used to it. Just don't squeeze, because that will lead to neck and shoulder problems. It sounds better too XD

The last time I took it out was around Christmas, and I was trying to show my sister what "Mary Had a Little Lamb" was supposed to sound like. I need to get it fixed, but there isn't anyone in the area that does that.
