Startled I turned around, studying the Witch before me. I breathe slowly tucking my wings tighter to my back. I am Layla...and who are you witch? I take a slow step back, ready for any attack.

worried that reaven might get attacked madyrn followed her into the woods but stopped when he caught an unfamiliar scent then proceeded forward slower than before.

Her arms prickle with sense of someone new coming. I have to get out of here. She takes another step back, butterflies filling her stomach.

"Dont be afraid. I have no intention of hurting you. My name is Raven. I'm a witch as well." I looked behind me and smelled Madyrn's scent. I looked back at Layla. "That's Madyrn. He wont hurt you either. What brings you here?"

She doesn't relax her stance, We're fighting a war of sorts, are we not? I Fell a couple days ago, and was attacked by humans only a few minutes afterward. It's now hard to trust who's safe, and whom to stray away from. She glares behind her, her fingers flexing carefully and her wings straining to be free.

i looked at her carefully. "IF you would like, i can make up some herbal tea, if your hurt. If you want to come back to my cabin." I looked at her, wanting her to trust us.

Contentiously touching her bandaged eye and hiding her arm, she relaxes a touch, her heart begging for someplace warm. I would not like to trouble you...but...if you wouldn't mind...

i smiled at her warmly. "I dont mind at all. Just follow me. The humans have left by now." I looked behind me at Madyrn. "You should come to." I started walking, glad to see that she followed. "So, how did you get hurt?"

She carefully kept a slight distance between her and Raven. As I said, after I Fell I was attacked by humans. I was so surprised that they were able to wound me before I could get away. Stumbling over a root she kept her pace as to not loose the girl.

I looked at her. "Yea, its fine. Before you came, we had a fight with the humans. THey wont come back for a while." WIth that thought, the grief came. Archon had been killed during the fighting. I didnt know him very well, but i was sad that he had to get killed because of something like this. BUt i didnt have time for grief right now. We were at my cabin now. "Come on in."

Slightly hesitating at the door, she stepped in carefully. Looking around the room, her eyes quickly darting, she stepped in further, not closing the door.

I went straight to my cupboard. Obviously, she was having a tough time. I sent some pleasing thoughts toward her, trying to calm her. I set the herbs out and chanted as i worked, giving them an extra boost. I turned toward her with the drink, looking at her wing and face. "I've made the tea, if you would like it. It would help you feel better." Bracing for her reaction, i said "Or, your more than welcome to make your own, if you'd like."
