Well, using the clippers took about 10 minutes, what with getting the bulk of the hair off my head. After that, it took about a little over half an hour to finish. I made it nice and smooth by using my mach 3 razor (y'know, 3 blades) as I was taking a shower. Of course, the first time I used shaving cream, but usually I just use a lot of water and some care.
It should take anywhere between 15 minutes to half an hour from now on.

That's quite a while for the first time around, but it sounds like the maintenance won't be too time consuming. How often do you have to shave it to keep it nice and smooth?

It'll stay nice and smooth for about a day or two. I'll wait after 2 -4 days between shaving. I do that not only because it saves on razors and supplies, but also because if I shave too often, the skin will get irritated and raw-like. I think I've found a consistent balance with it.

Shaving is not fun. Guys are lucky - less to shave! But I guess it's more obvious if you don't shave...

Yeah, we have less to shave, but, at least for me, where I shave is a pretty sensitive area, besides my head. (that may have been TMI. sorry sweatdrop )

@ Amber: Luckily, you don't need makeup to be beautiful! I went to work today and had three people ask me if I was okay. I think I need more sleep! lol

Well okays then! It's always interesting to know that you shave your...face. Shaving is fun. Okay, not really, but it's not so bad. You get used to it after a while. Waxing is better, though!

There is no way I will EVER put wax on my.......................................face. I get nervous enough just using a razor blade. The last thing I need is some super hot wax being ripped off where I don't want it.

Speaking of which, I need to get some waxing done again soon.
But in the meantime, I need a shower! I slept through family breakfast and church. I just couldn't get up! The lack of sleep finally caught up with me, I guess. So now I need to get going so I can make it to grandma's for lunch!

I read back at all this, and it made me think of what Kabuki said a while back; a certain somebody would be all kinds of upset with my antics! xp
