He snorted at him. "Don't apologize. If you don't trust me that much, so be it." Oh yes, he was good at the guilt thing. Even if he didn't mean to be.
"Don't eat all that at once, huh." He nodded to the sack. "You'll get a stomach ache." He started walking to the edge of the cave, holding the egg against his side.

Duncan gathered his knees in his arms and sighed, staring at the opposite wall.
"Like a guy, Al. Didn't wanna tell ya. Don't wanna lose the only friend I got."

He stopped, and frowned, glancing back. "... You shouldn't do that." He said after a minute, turning around with a small snort. "Guys are all jerks."
But he didn't seem to be freaking out about that. He was in his head, just a little, but who Duncan wanted to sleep with was his business. Besides, he was one of, if not the only, friend he had. He didn't want to go ruining that because Duncan liked guys instead of girls.

Duncan just sniffed and tried hard to maintain any manliness he had left.
"You should get that egg to the rookery." Aww, Duncan...

He nodded a little, sighing, and rubbed his eyes.
"You're still my friend, Dunc." He said, watching him before he turned around. "I don't care who you like." He snorted. "Long as they're not jerks." Alister walked to the edge of the cave, peering out absently.

Duncan just sighed again. Things would be fine tomorrow, he knew. Serious conversations were never allowed to linger. That didn't mean tonight was going to suck any less.

Alister's wings snapped open, ready to glide from this cave to the rookery. But then he paused, and looked back. "Hey." He grinned.
"Tomorrow night. You, me, a couple eggs, and some unsuspecting hunters. Whaddaya say?" He grinned wide.

He grinned. "No getting out of it either, buddy." He waved. "See you tomorrow." Alister leapt out of the cave, catching the winds that'd take him up to the rookery so he could put the egg away and go to his own little cave.
