((Well, he wouldn't attack you...maybe traumatize you but you'll live.))
Character:: Christopher "Crow" Scar Location:: Organization headquarters, Hallway
"I see you are one of those people who are satisfied with the minimum that life gives you. You're thankful for having a name because you don't want to blend into the background like everyone else," Crow replied, he was whispering now and had pulled his head further down, to meet Felicity eye to eye. "But let me tell you, if you don't want to blend into the background, then you'll have to fight. You'll have to take a stand and declare who you are. Your actions define you Miss Garth, not a meaningless name."
His eyes dropped from her intense glare to her clenched fist. "You shouldn't allow your emotions to be so perceptible, it is a major disadvantage." Suddenly, he smiled even his eyes were dancing with amusement, something that was not common.
"I don't want anything from you Felicity, you have nothing to offer me," Crow replied pulling back with a smirk. She was entertaining. The fact that she was so young and didn't cower in fear was quite remarkable.

[[I'll go discuss psychological trauma in the OOC thread for now then.. o.o]]
Character:: Felicity "Felix" Garth Location:: Organization headquarters, Hallway
The first words that came out of his mouth made her temper flare, and she wondered vaguely if it was a major offense to hit a commanding officer. Probably. Once he finished however, she had nothing to say, and instead turned her head away. She'd been told that her actions had defined her for the longest time. Every time she punched another girl that's what the principal said. She never obeyed him. What about Crow threw her into a rage yet made her listen at the same time?
At the mention of her obvious temper she grimaced, letting her hands relax before her nails bit into her palms and made her bleed. Such a thing had happened once before. "What's so bad about showing real emotion?" She asked him, an edge still in her voice. She was still looking away during the exchange. In the corner of her eyes, she could still see his smile, and it felt as if he was mocking her.
"And if that's it, why are you still standing here?" He seemed to have answer to everything else, maybe this would throw him off. Maybe not.

Character: Akana Massri Location: exiting the Nyx HQ
Akana grinned appreciatively at Clark's quick comment and walked slightly ahead of him with long, even strides, fluid but quick.
She glanced back at Clark once, he walked very quietly and it unnerved her for a moment. Surprised, she saw his demeanor had completely changed. If Akana hadn't spoken with him earlier, she wouldn't have known it was possible for him to have a sense of humor. The bemused expression was wiped from his face, and all that remained was a stark, unrelenting determination.
Akana returned her attention to what was ahead, her pace quickening as her eagerness to begin traveling increased.

Character:: Christopher "Crow" Scar Location:: Organization headquarters, hallway
He shifted his body to stare outside the wide window that overlooked a vast but barren field. Serial had been beautiful yet now, it was just a field of waste. "Like I said, it is merely a disadvantage. Emotions reveal your weakness and allowing an enemy to know your weakness- might as well commit suicide," Crow answered evenly, his tone never changed, much like his mood. He was always cheery yet cheery in a sense that you don't know what he is truly feeling. He could despise you to the core of his heart yet still remain jolly. Jolly by a different standard of course.
"Like now, you are mad. If I tick you a bit more so you'll topple over the edge- you'll make your first move. And one should never make the first move," Crow added, his tone dropping a notch and lips tilting downward, as if he was reminiscing about something that occurred in the past. But as soon as the frown came, it disappeared; his lips tilted upward and back into that usual smirk.
"Ah, that is quite a good question, why don't I get back to you on that?" Crow replied, spreading his lips into a grin. Truthfully, once in his life, he wasn't too sure about that question- he lingered with her because he found her amusing. She was like General Dayne and Captain Cadel, someone he could pick arguments with and she was someone who didn't care for his position in the Organization- if he was going to mess with her, he better be ready for it. "And as much as I would love to hang around this hallway and chat with such a lovely lady. We must be going on our way. Come along now."
He turned and sauntered down the hallway; legs taking long heavy strides and his black hair swaying to his movements.

Character:: Felicity "Felix" Garth Location:: Organization headquarters, Hallway
Felicity pursed her lips as she listened to his little lecture on the importance of never striking first in battle. As much as she disliked it, he was right, of course. Still; nothing at all could make her admit such a thing to Crow, so she remained silent. Though his tone had never changed, something had shifted around him. Something she could not pin; a mix between contemplation and reminiscence. Felicity could never quite pin anything to do with Crow. It wasn't as if he were particularly mysterious; just infuriating. And a touch shady. Okay; more then a touch.
She blinked when he switched gears to a different topic so suddenly. Reminiscing only served the man for so long, she supposed.
"Fine. But where are we going?" Felicity was still skeptical of his intentions. "And why so suddenly?" Her questions still had a bit of an edge to them; after so many years of it that edge was hard to dull. Still, before she'd gotten an answer, she started to walk; admittedly she trailed about a meter behind him. Nothing wrong with being cautious. Then she noticed long his hair was. Damn, he wasn't even feminine. In fact, Crow probably had longer hair then most of the women in the Organization.
It would probably hurt if she pulled on it.
Felicity was a once very glad she kept her hair in a tiny ponytail; it'd be pretty hard to get your hands around that in a fight.

"But where are we going?" Crow chuckled at her question and turned his head back.
"We are going to my secret laboratory where I do cruel and inhumane tests on my subjects. I would have you take part but I think you'll be quite a handful to handle, Miss Felicity,"" he remarked. It would have been funny had it not been for his sudden deadpan voice and intense red eyes. Also, he was Crow...if it was true, it wouldn't be something that would surprise anyone.
Crow walked down the short flight of stairs and wandered further down that particular hallway.
"Well, we have been burdened with a new task Miss Felicity," he paused at the doorway to turn and look back at her. He smiled, cocking his head slightly. "We will be attacking the Nyx and you are to come with."
Then, he pushed pass the double doors and down the next corridor. These hallways never seem to end. Finally, he stopped in front of the enormous steel doors. He held his thumb to the scanning pad and then his eye. The doors slid open, revealing another pair of steel doors. He repeated the procedure but this time he also drew an odd Greek symbol on the pad.
"And my men are a bit hard to rally up, so don't be overwhelmed. I would not want to frighten that fragile soul of yours," Crow informed, from the pad. He smiled eerily as the doors slid open revealing an elevator.

((Now, before somebody bitches about this Dart Gave me PM'D PERMISSION to post for him. Have any complaints say it to my face! D<))
Location:: Nyx, Hallway just past Elevator Character:: Strake Scizzon(Alpha)
The ride down the elevator was quick enough so conversations were spared. However, as soon as Strake took a step out, three of his men rushed to his side their faces dripping with urgency. He raised an eyebrow at them and of the convicts whispered into his ear. His smile tipped into a smirk as he nodded.
“Well everyone, looks like our plans have been delayed. I have some rather important business to take care of before we head off so till then, feel free to tend to your own business,” Strake informed, taking a step from the group. “But don’t disappear; I expect to see everyone to be here when I send my men for you.”
The Alpha spun on his heel and headed down the hall, the two convicts following close behind him. This was good. Real good. He could probably use this to his advantage; but how?

Character: Akana Massri Location: exiting the HQ
Akana sighed, anxious to leave the fetters she felt binding her to this place. With a toss of her head she slowed her pace, vacillating between asking for company or heading off on her own until it was time to leave. When she finally exited the building a smile spread across her face spontaneously; the feeling of the warm sun engulfing her briefly, soaking into her bare arms and caressing her face.
I think I'll just stay out awhile, no point in going home, she decided, her keen eyes quickly scanning the roads, taking in all the people who were going about whatever business.

Character: Clark G. McArthur Location: Outside HQ
Clark was quite pleased by the delay. He hadn't truly wanted to spend his whole day traveling in a truck, not yet anyway. It took him a few moments to adjust to the change of light outside. The poor lighting from the meeting room was pure darkness in comparison to the sun. It was much warmer out too, not much more though, the candles of the meeting room tended to make it quite hot. Clark brushed the hair from his eyes and observed the people passing by. A few he recognized, but many he would never see again.
He forced the grim frown deeper onto his face. He had a reputation to keep. He almost faltered though, looking back at the other Nyx leaders. Something about the smile on Akana's face was contagious, and it took an effort to hold back one of his own.
"I'll be around." He said to them vaguely, heading off on the side of the road, no real destination in mind. He would think of something while walking. The same thing he did in the years before he found Serial. Walking, and making decisions during it.

Akana heard Clark's comment and watched him walk away. She realized there was absolutely nothing she needed to be doing, and without hesitation jogged after him, calling out his name.
When she was caught up and walking alongside him, matching his lanky strides, Akana flashed him a teasing grin.
"Would you mind if I spent some time with you? I find myself without company, and I prefer to have interesting people like yourself around," she asked, her voice expressing amusement at her current situation.

Character: Clark G. McArthur Location: Streets
Clark had only stepped a few feet when his name was called. He resisted the urge to look back, knowing who it was before she came into view beside him. It was amusing, seeing her fast-walking to keep up with is longer strides. He hadn't planned on company, but he cirtainly wasn't going to turn it down. Clark wasn't used to people wanting to be around him, so he didn't know how to respond at first.
He took a look around, making sure none of his men were walking on the street, or at least were in earshot, before relaxing his grim frown, slightly. He didn't enjoy always carrying the appearance of a grim person. He understodd though, that with a grim reputation came respect, and fear. Two things a leader of criminals needed to stay in charge. Or so, that is what he told himself. Clark glanced over at her, before awkwardly, he answered her.
"Well, I don't know as far interesting goes, but I'd be glad to have you along, yes." Clark answered, nodding as he did so. He ran a hand through his hair again, what had become a frequent sign of him thinking, or disconfort. The reasons varied.

Akana smiled, pleased. Winning people over always gave her a satisfying feeling, and she felt very happy walking outside inhaling the warm air with the prospects of travel and friendship before her.
A younger man whom Akana had been romantically involved with a few months ago strode past the two of them and glared, clearly trying to upset her or at least elicit a reaction. Her mouth pulled into a lopsided grin and she tossed her hair, acting as though she hadn't noticed.
"Clark, tell me something. Are first impressions important to you?" she asked, interested in what he would say.

Character: Clark G. McArthur Location: Streets
Clark had to think for a moment on that question. He didn't even notice the man glaring at Akana, to Clark, he was just another civilian. They walked for a few moments more, with Clark choosing his words carefully. Not quite sure what answer she was looking for, he answered as honestly as he could.
"Well, I suppose they are important, yes. Only for certain people though. If I shall never see the person again, then yes, the first impression means a great deal. With you for example though, it means little to me. Future actions overide any impression for me." He looked over to her then, seeing if she was pleased with his answer. It was an unexpected question. By then though, Clark had expected her to take him off guard. It seemed to be a common event for the day. Her spontinuity was refreshing, and Clark chose then to stop trying to anticipate what she would do next. He would probably just assume wrong.

"Damn right." Felicity replied, equally deadpan. She could have laughed, the words themselves were humorous enough, but no. Crow was turning out to be quite the killjoy. She wasn't even sure if an actual soul was lurking somewhere in him. Felicity certainly couldn't find it. Neither could Crow's mother, she'd bet.
She followed him still with no clear indication of where they were going. Felicity wasn't particularly adventurous, she'd probaly never been down this way. She looked at the walls around them. Bare. The entire corridor felt a bit creepier. Maybe it was because she didn't know them, because they were empty, or even because of Crow. Felicity didn't let it get to her though. It was just a sterile white hallway.
At his next response her eyes hardened a little. So she was right after all. A real combat situation, with a real gun and real bullets. She tried to look excited at the revelation. The feigned emotion was easy to see through.
"Sounds like fun." His smile was slightly unsettling she realized, Felicity just had to get used to it. That was all. Hopefully. He turned and they went through a series of security measures that seemed a bit much to her. Then again, she'd never seen Crow's men. Still, the cynicism did not leave her. She scoffed at him.
"Survived you now didn't I?"

As Clark replied she listened, finding herself in agreement with his answer.
"You're right, that does make sense," Akana stated, "Although having an accurate first impression is the most important part of my job."
She paused briefly, gathering her thoughts, then said, "Most of the time it's game for me, to figure out what I need to do to to persuade people, or distract them. But the problem is there's always one surprising trait that's impossible to unearth until you are really friends."
Her voice dropped in volume and she raised an eyebrow, her expression inviting and mischievous.
"That's why people are so exciting, really. You never know exactly what to expect."
