Raster entered the clothing store after... the Japanese fellows... and leaned silently against a support pillar (again, presumably with Xistund following), waiting for them to remember their part of the bargain.
Although it was not as if Raster or Xistund had done anything to help them, however....

"Why am I here?"
"Look, old man. I don't quite know how insane you went, but we're going to snap you out of it."
"Perhaps we should get his old costume. That could remind him."
Gaudin walked up to Raster and Xistund. "Sorry 'bout all this. We'll help you defeat that 'Fatal' guy, just as soon as they get the old man to stop being insane."

Raster nodded, but then his attention returned to the clinically insane old man. "...Will he be able to recover?" the golden armor-clad, silver baseball-wielding warrior asked. "Why did he become this way?"

"It's not the first time this has happened." Harujiro said. "A night of drinking and a bucket of cold water on the head in the morning solves it. However, the nearest bar is a 'no shirt, no shoes' kinda place."
"Hmmm..... let's see.....not my size, out of style..." Chikao said, looking through the clothes racks.
"Old Man? Those are the women's clothes."

Raster abruptly left.
Minutes later, when he returned, he was able to inform Harujiro and company that the bar would most assuredly give them no trouble... at least, not until they knew that their insurance would cover existing and possible future damages.

"Well, we found an outfit for the old man," Harujiro said.
"I kinda like it."
"I heard drinking and in the name of Stevie the Squirrel, I wanna drink!"
"Okay, Old Man, fine. Let's go."
"This should be a load of fun." Gaudin said.

When they approached the bar, the bouncer shied away from Raster and flinched as he walked by.

"Wait.... Gaudin, how come your power has never been activated since we met these two?"
"I can turn my power on and off, luckily."
"That explains quite a bit."

Raster ignored the commentary banter. He stood silently by the door, arms folded. Just watching the crowd.

Chikao ignored the banter as well. He was already at the bar. "Three bottles of your finest vodka!"
"How drunk is he planning to get?"
Harujiro didn't hear. He was already at the bar. "I'll have what he's having." He then looked at Chikao, as if challenging him.
"I can tell that this night is only going to end in tears and debt. Not necessarily in that order."
(This will end with a massacre and technobabble!)

Raster saw what was ensuing and grinned finally.
"I'll wager," he said, drawing a chair. Looking at the bartender, he echoed, "Whatever they're having."

Fuyusuke whispered to the bartender. "Please, cut them off when you think they've had too much."
Harujiro was halfway into his first bottle. "You're going down, old man."
Chikao was three-fourths of the way into his first, and was just as coherent as he was before he started drinking.
Gaudin simply hit his head on the wall repeatedly. "If I'm lucky, I'll be brain-dead before this night is over." Gaudin suddenly had an idea. From now on, everyone who said the word 'hot' in any form would temporarily lose their soul. He smiled.

Except that, for someone like Raster, who did not fight unless it was necessary, the rules of battle wouldn't apply. Seriously--because he wasn't fighting. If this did happen... then Gaudin was a wellspring of power unlike any other. He would likely be the target of some type of attack, later on...
Raster drank slowly, not caring about the time it took to drink. He said nothing during this.
((Seriously. If he's not fighting--then you can just take his soul? That seems a little harsh--I don't know if that's fair.))

(1. Yes. 2. It's only temporary. 3. This includes the word 'shot'-- Oh noes! What did you expect, Pee Wee Herman shouting 'YOU SAID THE SECRET WORD!'?)
Chikao finished his three bottles. "I'm tellin' ya," he said to Harujiro, "'stained flight for bees should be imposs'ble.
Harujiro had also finished his third. "Pssh. Bees don' know the meanin' o' th' word imposs'ble. Mind you, they don't speak english, so there you go. Bees're fighters. All this law o' flight thing is a social 'njustice."
"An' I s'ppose yer gonna go on about this fer 'nother hour." Chikao raised his hand. "Bartender! 'nother drink!"
"Me too!"
(I think that this will definitely end in technobabble.)

((Uh...huh. You need to fight Reed, then. He's a genius.))
Raster kept along... decently well. He saw no need to talk, only drinking his share. He wondered who was going to pay....
