"Meat. Large amounts of meat. Quickly, before I eat a chef..." One of the neraby chefs scooted a small distance away, only half-sarcastically.

"Um, okay" He began searching through a fridge with various meats, "How about steak and chicken?" He placed the steak on a cutting board, found a clean knife, and began cutting it into strips. "Give me a bit, i`ll try to get yours done first Meph." He tossed a few of the strips in a frying pan and turned it to low. He removed some precut chicken placed it on a sheet and put it into an oven. He then returned his attention to the steak, turning the heat up nearly to full. Kuro began flipping the steak strips into the air, catching all put one in the pan; catching the last in his mouth. "Ah, undercooked beef."

Mephlius wallked out of the kitchen, and sat by Amnity at the table. He cupped his hands over his nose and mouth, to avoid smelling the sweet smell of meat cooking. ... He wasn't doing a good job.

Amnity rested her head on the table, turning her head to the side to look at Mephlius. "...You hungry?" No duh! Look at him, he's starving! "Don't worry, Kuro should be done soon." She tried to reassure him without snickering.

A ringing sound echoed around the hall, it seemd to be coming from Amnity's phone, after a few seconds it went to Voice Mail.."...Hell--o... Need...assistance...please help... Blood everywhere... not much time...Central Park" The message ended there, a sudden silence falling onto the room.

"I haven't eaten... in almost two days. For a human, that's kinda bad. For a lycan... well... I'd probably be accused of having an eating disorder." Mephlius was shocked at the sound coming from Am's phone.

Kuro signaled for a chef to finish what he started. "So, central park," He tried not to sound desperate, but failed, "Please can I come! It will be three of us, so we`ll be fine!" He ran back to the infirmary to grab his katana, not waiting to hear if he could, then continued to central park.

Amnity heard the message, then looked over at Mephlius. He and Kuro were in no condition to leave, so she'll go and do this on herself. "I wonder who it is?... I'll go check it out." She got up, taking her jacket. "I'll call you if it's something too serious. Stay here and eat Mephlius, you're starving." She walked out of the mess hall and out of Haven.

Mephlius stood to follow them, however he took his hands off of his nose in the process. His senses were overrun with the smell of the cooking meat. He kept himself from crying. He looked from Amnity to the kitchen... Am... kitchen... Am... Kitchen. He took a step towards the exit, then, sat back down at the table. "Damn metabolism..." The chef set out his plate of chicken and steak. He stared at it for a second. The chef offered him a selection of forks and knives, but Mephlius didn't even see. He picked up the largest steak with his bare hands, and ate it in 10 seconds flat. He grabbed a thigh of chicken, and was finished chewing it in less time than the steak took. He grabbed a second steak, and a chicken leg, and then chased after Am and Kuro.

Mephlius sprinted up to the mess hall, breathing heavily as he burst through the doors... A few seconds after Amnity.He found his way to a seat, sat down, and caught his breath.

"YES!!! I won!!! HA!!" In her joy, she began dancing around the table where Mephlius was sitting in. "It seems that the bunny actually beat the moose in the race...Good thing too, or I would have bitten you in the ear!" After a few more seconds of dancing and gloating, she sat down next to him, the smile still on her face.

Mephlius almost killed the good mood with a comment about Silver Nitrate. But, he just smiled, and said. "Well, I figured i'd like to keep my ear."

"COOK!!! Whip us up something good. A nice 20 ounce sirloin steak for me, medium rare and bury it in A1 steak sause....And a kids meal for the lycan." Amnity called for the cook, chuckling a bit at her own joke.
