His whole body trembled for just a second, vile liquid rising up from his stomach for that moment. In the back of his mind, information was being brought as pain flare up in his abdomen, yea, that was going to bruise like hell. The five fingers tighten around the hilt of his sword, and brought it down into the other's undamaged shoulder.

Letting go of the sword, he pushed the leg away and collapse to his knees, on top of Bones' legs. His ears rang with the clank of an invisible chain dropping to the ground as he wrapped his fingers around this prey's neck and began to suffocate him.
"Don't....ever...come...against..me...again...Or I'll kill you." He hissed into his ear before letting him breath again. Removing his sword, he walked off to Veil and picked her up. His blood made a little path of dots of crimson in the snow as he walked back to the mansion. He kicked the door open and thrust Veil into the arms of Daniel, the teenager had been about to run outside to retrieved them both, he stared at him and then at the girl in his arms.

Adriel gave little sign of speaking as he stepped down the hall just to meters, body shaking and swaying. Looking ready to collapse, but not allowing himself the luxury.

Face contorted in pain, Bones chest rose and fell rapidly as he compensated for the pain by panting it out. Clenching his teeth, he forced his head up to try to spot the wound on the right side of his chest. Straining the wrong muscles, his head flopped back limply into the snow. Between breaths he found himself slowly irking out a smirk. That guy…he was good in a fight. Veil had been right to choose him. Blood spilling out, his wounds stained the snow. Hot blood forcing the pure white ice to melt, Bones calmed his breathing bit by bit…trying to slow his heart rate to lessen the loss of his lifeblood. “I hate snow.” He muttered to nobody.

Veil had clung to the young man in support and found herself needing it. Daniel looked up at her, before they watched Adriel stagger away in unison. Her mind was still recovering from the attack. However, watching the fight she noticed what was exactly going on with Bones. Burying her face into his chest, she took a deep breath. “I should have never come here.” In the back of her mind, she knew that Bones bleeding had to be stopped, but her thoughts had to gather at first in order to do this.

Adriel staggered again and leaned heavily against the wall, he breath deeply, feeling his lungs burning with air that felt ice cold. Eyes close as he tried to get over the drain that it took from him to not let himself just let go of everything. Was it no for the the panting breaths and the loud beats of the hearts just feet away from him, he would had probably fallen asleep. Another sound came into his ears, the heavy breath and the clicks of claws. Faraon.

The feline pokemon came forward, growling softly as he moved about the hall, his fur bristling as his eyes gave a soft glow along with his jewel. He was uneasy, and it has little to do with the state of his trainer. He'll give him a piece of his mind later. Opening his jaws, he snagged one of his deadly fangs on one of the damage sleeves of Adriel's shirt and pulled him.

Forcing his eyes open, Adriel growled in response. "....." His eyes stared into the ones of Veil for a moment before he let out another breath, his lungs cried out, wanting the air back as quickly as possible. He ignore the looks from his brother and went towards the door. He had to, at the very least, stitch the idiot up.

That, and he needed to see what was making his persian so high-strung all of the sudden.

Bones lay in the freezing snow, feeling it leak into his fresh wounds. It just further reminded him that he hated the snow. Eyes blinking blurrily, he realized the lethargy was from losing all that blood. It was for a good cause however, so this passed over in his mind and he dismissed it in an instant. All he could do was watch his breath rise in curling smoke patterns, and this just dulled his mind further. But then suddenly he was alert, crystal eyes darkly serious and violent. Crashing through the bushes came a pair of men, clothed more than proper for the time of year. Winter gear abounded. Hikers, perhaps he might think on any other day, but hikers didn’t carry pistols brandished as loosely as this pair. Glaring at them, his fingers on his right arm twitched for the short sword laying in the snow beside him. That arm was way less incapacitated than the left, but it was still no good. Moments later it was kicked away from any further attempts to retrieve it however.

Sharp immature laugher came out from under the one man’s scarf as he knelt down beside Bones’ head. Poking him in the jaw with the pistol’s tip, he stared at the fallen man with utter amusement. “You totally blew it man. Now it’s up to us to make sure the job gets finished.” Smacking Bones him across the face, it sliced open his lip in the process. Licking his lips, Bones grinned. “I didn’t fail.”

The other man still stayed standing, his gun trained on the fellow Rocket. “The priority was to capture the target from the start. Whether you failed or not, she’s coming back to base. Either way, you’re out of here, and useless to us now.” With that the other man kneeling beside Bones shoved the barrel of the gun into his right shoulder wound, and twisted it at a dangerous angle. “Haha, so we got those orders you know, to kill you.”

Bones back stiffened from the attack, his face showing each painful tremor through his body…no longer able to hide it. It was excruciatingly taxing on his beaten form. The flunky yanked the gun back out of the gash and Bones slackened almost instantly, his breathing becoming spotty and rapid. ‘Ah crap…’ he hissed lightly into the air.

Contenting himself to wipe the barrel of the gun clean in the snow, the grunt proceeded to place the soaking murky weapon against Bones’ right temple. “You know, if you’d just have gotten the girl, we might have been able to let you live…”

The door was pulled open quietly, Adriel's eyes gave a warning look towards Daniel and Veil to stay put as he slipped out with Faraon on his talons. They both in haste, but silence, their footsteps muffled by snow. Adriel reached over and passed his hand through the persian's fur, feeling the electricity jumping off it. The healer felt his ears were more acute then normal as his world sway for milisecond, he prevented himself from gagging as the vile rise up again. Somedays...He shook his head before he would sink into depression.

His eyes focus and like the persian's, they locked onto two figures standing over the still fallen Bones. Adriel crooked an eyebrow at all this as he stared at their backs. He traced something on the top of his pokemon's head before removing his hand as the persian charged up an attack.

"Hey, what do you think you are doing?!" He suddenly called out, but he didn't yell, he was incapable of such.

That's when Faraon unleashed a powerful beam attack towards the two rockets. Power Gem, one of the pokemon's favorites. The beam was powerful and it gave off a sparks and glows like that of real gemstones. A gentle blue color with white veins seemed to be the overall color of it.

The lancing light tore through the thin air with nothing to stop it, snow vaporizing and steam rising high from its sheer power. The man that was standing up managed to back away having the end of his gun completely sliced off, but the kneeling man wasn’t so fortunate. Bangs rustling against Bones forehead, the attack missed him with calculated skill. Splatters of blood showered him, for the one man was now howling about his useless arm, full on with shards of rock sticking out from his back. Falling away from the fallen rocket, his gun arm looked like ground meat as he rolled around in the snow. A less than honorable display.

The standing man dropped the broken rifle, and reached into his coat for his secondary pistol. Bones coughed out a grin as he tapped the catch of the pokeball that had slipped into his hand. “Too late.” In a flash of red laser light a large arcanine appeared and attacked him, having not even touched the snow.

Cooper was burning with rage. How dare he!? These men, what right did they have to injure his pet human so? Fire alighting about his fangs, he tore into the winter clothing the man wore, searching for some flesh to damage, his ears pinned back in rage. It was almost enough though that he weighed as much as he did, for the man wasn’t moving seconds after he pounced. Perhaps that was for the best that it knocking him out.

Growling, he spit out some pieces of clothing satisfied with the punishment. The foolish rocket grunt had a few broken ribs and a nice slash down the chest, not to mention his clothing was shot. He’d have hurt him more, were it not for the fact that Bones needed his further aid. Trotting over with urgency, he sniffed at his owners face before licking it lightly. Therein revealing the backwards ‘R’ scar on her tongue. Bones was almost completely out, his crystal eyes fading to transparent, as he just blinked idly. Veil…Veil was safe.

Adriel watched with a small smile as the arcanine came to the rescue for his human. Walking to the still conscious grunt, he gave a blunt hit to the head to knock him out, quiet tired of his screaming, really. His purple eyes looked around towards his persian, who sat on the snow, panting after the powerful attack. Poor Faraon, he was really getting too old for all this.

He looked at Bones and his canine pokemon, beginning to approached the two slowly. "Do you mind if I patch him up before you take him where you think he will be safe?" He question the pokemon, since his master was sure too out of it to answer him.

Faraon's blind eyes watched him, and his expression only said 'you are nuts'. The persian couldn't think of anything else when it came to his human. To his fool and jester. He was just nuts and in serious of a getting a good scolding. Always running off when he needs rest, fighting people and then trying to heal them, taking in strangers and feeding them his blood. Indeed, the man need to get his brain checked and be put in more medicine.

Bones let out one more breath, which sounded more like a content sigh, before his translucent eyes slid silently shut…regardless of the activity about him. Coopers ears pinned back again as he nudged at his trainers cheek. Whimpering, he looked up to Adriel and took two steps back, and then one forwards. Nervous, and almost panicking Cooper eyed the man fervently. Barking at him, he glanced at the Persian next to him, and then the man again. His actions read this way...

Help him. Please.

Adriel sighed and made a sound towards the persian, who ran off to the house. Moving closer to the man, he slowly picked him up without aggravinting his wounds too much. The dojo was closer, so he moved him there, opening the sliding doors with his foot. He looked back at the arcanine and left it half open so he could look in. Putting down the man, he grabbed a couple of blankets stores there and put them under him.

Faraon ran into the house, not stopping for a moment as he burst into the master bedroom and went under the bed, he pulled his head out. holding in his jaws the handle of Adriel's messenger bag. He ran out of the house just as quick, giving a baffle Daniel no time to stop or question him. Thought the feline was quiet sure that when the teenager was stop and think about it, he would smack his own head for even implying a persian could had answer him.

He moved quickly through the snow, muttering under his breath as his furcoat become soaked through. He made it back to the dojo, panting against the handle as he shook his body from the cold snow and slither his way into the room. He dropped the thing next to Adriel and collapsed nearby, curling up as he tried to warm himself up again.

Adriel gave a apologetic smile to his old persian before he released his pressure on the wounds and began to take out several things from his bag. Taking off one of the blankets from the shoulder wound that invalid his arm, he began to clean the wound with alcohol and a cloth. Of course, he wasn't stupid, the rest of his body was locking Bones' in place, just in case the other woke up from the treatment. After cleaning it, he began to stitch it close in a manner that would help the muscle heal faster and correctly. He pressed some bandages over it before he began to wrapped more bandages around it tightly to keep it in place. He did the same with the other wound, at least it wasn't as severe. Once, done, he sighed and got off the man.

Looking at the arcanine, he nodded. "I'll put him on your back and secure him there if you want me to and you can take him somewhere you think its safe."

Veil watched the Persian rush past and grab the bag filled with medical supplies, and her heart caught. Poking her head out of the door slightly, she tugged her coat around her shoulders as she peered into the white mess. Marred with blood and footprints, it was no longer pristine, and after tracing her eyes across the area she spotted a huge arcanine. It was tilting its head in question at the door of the dojo.

“Oh God, it’s Cooper.” Tearing out of the house, she hopped from the steps as fast as her little legs could carry her through the suffocating element. Pushing herself hard, she was more than halfway there when the dog turned its head with his ears perked. His tail wagged just a touch at the sight of the small female…before hanging again, and he uttered a sobering guttural whimper. Reaching out, her fingertips brushed his fur, and he soaked up every second of her comforting touch, needing it desperately. Smiling sadly, she knew what it meant for him to be out just like this. Bones was really injured.

Looking up at the sliding screen left half open, she climbed up onto the deck and peeked through. Adriel was leaning over a limp body, with the medi pack open at his side, hands covered in blood. Familiar blood. Gasping sharply, her hand rose to cover her fanged expression of shock as her eyes rimmed with tears. Bones…

Adriel checked for the man's pulse, it was there, and it was strong, even thought he lacked blood. He had lost a fair share, but nothing that would kill him. He was sure of that, besides, he hardly thought that they had any type O back in the house. Hearing movement outside, his first instincts what to grab the sword at his side, but he stop when he saw Veil.

Well...she was certainly not crying for him, that was sure. "He'll be alright, Veil....with some rest and a lot of food and liquids, he'll be banging down the door and trying to stab me in no time." He smiled, weakly. He himself was still bleeding from two wounds, but he pushed that asside as he smiled to the girl, trying to calm her.

Veil jumped up to meet Adriel, throwing her arms around his waist and hugging him gently, her long crimson hair flying everywhere. “Y-you…you didn’t have to do anything…and now I owe you so much more…” Her skin was warm and her tears were even moreso, as they slipped down her cheeks in relief. They both were okay. This never happened to her.

Veil’s grip was loose enough not to injure his abdomen wound anymore than it already was (already the bruising was showing), the side of her head resting slightly against his skin as she listened carefully. She could hear his heart beating, knowing his blood was flushing out of a few wounds. Not as serious as Bones’ injuries by any means, but it was taking a toll on Adriel’s already worn form, taxing him even further. Her heart dropping, Veil’s concern tightened in her chest for him, her uncertainty gone. Her thoughts that were once offset by his display of control and strength moments ago, had been brought to the forefront of her mind. He was the kind of person that made you see what he wanted you to. But there was no time to admire that.

Grabbing his wrist tightly with her slender fingers, she led him back to where he was sitting moments before. Kneeling, she motioned for him to do the same…and took it upon herself to fish out some fresh supplies from his spilled open bag.

Glancing down at Bones lying on his stomach, the expertly stitched up wound was something to marvel at. All this had gotten done, and he running on nothing. Her eyes smiled before her lips parted to copy them, and looking back her bright eyes met his violet ones. “Thank you.”

Her demeanor changed now, more one of a motherly type as she poured some antiseptic on a clean swab and then looked at him expectantly. “It’s the least I can do, so just let me worry about it. You can relax for a moment.”

Adriel had forgotten all about his abdomen until the girl hug him, he stopped himself from gasping in pain as he bite his lower lip, calming down just in time before she looked up at him. A little smile still playing on his face. "You owe me nothing..."

He followed after her and sat down, thinking back to his little brother. Daniel wouldn't make it to the dojo, not with all that blood spilled in the snow. Not with the thoughts that his brother had something to do with it. If he knew his brother, and he did, he would be throwing up dinner, getting a bunch of blankets and Writer before running off to the barn where his Rampardos slept and curling up against her until tomorrow morning. It wasn't that Daniel couldn't stand blood, it was just the thoughts and then the nightmares, of what Adriel could had done for it to be there. Adriel didn't blame him...

His purple eyes turned to Veil as she prepare a swab and he shook his head. "Veil, just lay down next to Bones and make sure all your worries are away from you. I can take care of this without trouble at all. Don't worry about me. Never worry about me."
PostPosted: Mon Mar 02, 2009 8:29 pm

Slipping the swab gently across the blood stains, she began to clean up the area around the arm wound, not wanted to disturb the scab that was almost completely formed. Each touch was careful and calculated, almost like a Butterfree’s. “My worry is not gone…” Her eyes blinked almost a hue like Bones’ eyes did, as she observed for any muscle damage in the laceration. It was fine, and she sighed a bit. “…it’s just shifted again.” Her tongue slipped out and curved against the side of her mouth in concentration as she added more disinfectant to the few piece of cotton.

“And I owe you so much Dr Hart…” she continued, not ignoring his words from before but not addressing them either. The very sound of them made her heart hurt more…and she wished there was something she could do. Cooper was sitting in the snow staring at her expectantly, and she smiled at him before getting back to work. Picking up the bits of cotton from the floor, she gathered them into a pile to make the area a bit more tidy. “…you really don’t know.”

Bones face was relaxed from the consciousness due to the blood loss, but his breathing was even, if not shallow. Reaching out a hand, she ran it through his hair, breaking up the blood that had matted there. Eyes softening, she looked back to him. “I will take also the amount owed to you from him and place it on my shoulders. So if…no…when you think there is a proper payment…” This must have sounded mad to Adriel, for her to be like this to a man that tried to capture her. “…you must tell me immediately.” The young man seemed to stir at her touch, but it was just every so slightly.

Listening closely to her words as his eyes watched her careful hands, he only thought of a couple of things. Once she was done, he pulled bandages over his forearms and sit there and while longer, just plainly watching her with Bones.

For some reason of other, he picture a broken bone being mended with a crimson satin veil. That made him smile for some reason or other as he slowly rose and looked about the dojo, soon coming back with more blankets and laying them down on the floor next to Bones for her. A long with a couple of cushions that he put down along with them before he walked outside and sat on the dock with the large arcanine. He felt his breath waffling over his face in clouds of hot mist.

He didn't belong inside the dojo at the moment, nor did he belong in the mansion, or anywhere in the particular that he could think. His mind register the woods nearby and he knew that there was something there for him but he didn't belong there either. He sighed without a sound as his purple eyes close and he just began to meditate the pain away.
