"Johannes." "Johannes Richter." He spelled out his name for Rodney in case it proved to be difficult. "I'm volunteering for research."
"Will the research team be working at the same time as survellaince, or will...will the research team work first and then survellaince goes?" Johannes wanted to help as much as he can, but he was a bit confused on how they were going to be working, whether together or separate and then combine everything together.

A warm hand on his forehead. At first he had simply thought it to be the woman who he had almost butt heads with but when he heard the rising hysteria in this voice he knew it wasn't so. He could recognize this voice no matter what. The voice belonged to Hyo. He understood some of the words coming out of her mouth. Not a lot but some... Yet not enough to understand the context of what she was saying.
Raising his head he saw the motions made by the dark skinned woman who was raising his sleeve up higher. She said but a single word and pointed towards one of the many groups of people. What had once been one large crowd had split up into smaller groups. The woman was telling Hyo to leave, to join one of them.
Taking a brief look at the man on the ground beside him and suddenly had a horrible vision of the same thing happening to her. Grabbing onto the sleeve of her hanbok with the hand that Shee had not sterilized he spoke for the first time in large company.
"Don't go."
It had a slight accent to it but otherwise correct in pronunciation. There was as pleading look to his eyes, one of fear. Holding tighter onto the sleeve he repeated himself.
"Don't go Hyo."
His eyes were soley on her. Oblivious to the commotion and other people around them.

Estrelas suddenly got a thoughtful look. "Padre Ah-madai, my friend Mista Archaa, Mista Archaa once say something like that, that you is have your own thing you good at and thing you no do... Ah take care of chicken, Padre. You and people do so many thing that help, but Ah do chicken." Estrelas turned around to look at everyone. "Ah no fight. Ah no read. Ah no doctor. So Ah cook. Ah make sure people who do book no hungry," she said, "Ah take care of people like you, Ah pick stuff up and put thing that done away. Ah stay here."
That's Estrelas, Eponine thought, That's Estrelas. She can't do anything in those categories, but she's found her own thing to do. What about me?
"That's good, Estrelas!" Eponine said encouragingly, then send a silent thank-you to the priest.

..so apparently, he shouldn't be here. Hyo looked at the groups that were forming themselves - he didn't really understand on what conditions were they made, but it was pretty obvious that everyone was going there, so he also should. He can always ask about it those other people. But then, Abel moved his hand, and caught his sleeve. And asked him to stay. Abel's voice wasn't something he heard often. His friend seemed pretty timid for a demon, and Hyo accepted that. And for him to ask him out loud to stay... ...and the fear in his eyes... Is he dying after all..? No, it can't be, they wouldn't act the way they did if he was...probably. He looked at the boy carefully, looking for any traces of recent wounds, and when he didn't find such, he breathed out, now calmed. So why is he scared? But that didn't matter much. He was, so Hyo should stay with him. Only that woman, obviously important (probably a princess?) ordered him to go, so he should. Hyo started getting up, but...but... He looked into the woman's eyes pleadingly, and asked "Priis, I can stay with Abel? I know not what do, but...priis stay?"

Archer gave Estrelas a sheepish smile. "Well, I can't say that your talents are limited to chicken-care, Miss Estrelas, but that sounds like a most serious job indeed." he said earnestly. He hadn't even thought about it, but someone had to keep the group grounded to reality. If everyone was working, were they going to go hungry? If everyone was working, who was going to organize the information and make sure they were doing something useful? Either way, they were progressing and he felt glad that things were now running that much more smoothly.

Del turned her head when she heard something about food. Del now made her choice, she is going to stay behind and assist with research. Well, as long as there is food involved, she could do anything. "Del-gerd-zaya." Del said towards Rodney. Just to make sure that she was going to stay behind. Drumming her fingers together, she could feel her insides rumble. She wanted some food right away.

He kept looking in Einar's direction, but the voice and tone from Mokoyis brought his head back to look at her. He understood what she was talking about, people had more than likely seen the two men together and it probably was no secret the two of them were a couple (though neither man had said 'I love you' to the other), so he did know where the woman was coming from. He studied her a bit, he had never seen her before, but he had a feeling she was a superior over him. He would not let his anger fuel him, this was surveillance, not action, but he knew that if he remained here he would not be of much help. He looked at her a moment longer before nodding.
"I will be helpful. I know the plan was changed to surveillance and that is what it shall be Miss Mokoyis." He had caught her name just as she said it to Rodney. "I like to think I have a level head. I shall not go rushing in, because that would put us all in danger and we do not want any more...Casualties."
He turned his head away from her to hide his grimace as he spoke the word, but when he turned back his face was calm. If she was above him in the ranks, he wanted to show her he could go and be helpful in this search. Then he remembered.
"We still do not know the location of Audun." He looked to Einar, the Norwegian would know, but if he was already being started on for bandages and blood he did not want to pester him. He needed to save up his strength for the battle to save himself ahead. Forty-five percent chance survival without the antidote, fifty percent with.
Einar...You are a stubborn one, I know you can beat those odds...I know it.

Estrelas nodded to Archer. "You right, Mista Archaa. Ah take care of sheep too," she declared, then looked a bit happier. "See? We all do thing and it make me think Misstaa Ee-narr over there do well to it!" she exclaimed, rubbing her fingers, but then stopped. "Epaninny, what you do, what you do?" she asked. "You choose soon- Ah think there hungry person nearby!"

Mokoyis nodded once at Lai. If the man said he could keep calm then she would trust him. If he couldn't- well hopefully she would be the only to pay for the mistake when she had to save him.
Now there was only the issue of finding this..Audun? She returned to her idea about the radio. "Tell him we need to know where he is if we are to return you to him." She spoke to Einar, keeping her voice level.

With Einar in place and being, thankfully, relatively quiet (although she knew this was just from exhaustion), Shee, a pair of shears in hand, began to hack away at the man's jacket. When that had fallen away, she took apart the shirt underneath and silently cursed the man for having such complicated clothing. The bowtie, with it's beautiful shade of pink, was discarded to the side, cut in half. She felt almost wistful and for a moment regretted it.
His torso was a mess of scars, and nestled in between the criss-crosses, right under his ribcage, was the bullet wound. There was blood everywhere. She had forgotten to bring towels, which just only now realized. Grabbing handfuls of gauze instead, she wiped away as much of it as she could, so that his torso was relatively free of blood for the moment. More gauze was used for cleaning the area; she winced as the clear liquid hit his skin, and tried to be quick about it, wiping the area dry as she began to wrap a bandage around his waist. "Lai, Asmadai, lift him a little so that I can get around."
As she was wrapping, she heard the plaintive requests of Abel and Hyo. It would have been so romantic, at any other time. She felt rather worried as she realized she didn't care about it too much. She had been spending too much time around Wraith. That could be dealt with a little later, however, she thought.
"Lokiari," Shee was again thankful for the woman's presence, "could you prepare a catheter, cannula and syringe? There's saline, and everything needs to be flushed. I think we can use a peripheral venous catheter to do this."
She didn't really know how to tell Hyo and Abel that it was fine that they stay together, as long as no one fainted again (she wasn't so sure about either of their consistutions; they seemed to be doubly delicate when put together). At least Abel could talk; she assumed he could understand some rudimentary English as well. "Mmmmm... OK, stay. But do what I say."

Hyo nodded quickly, and smiled with a brilliant smile. How wonderful, they have an okay now! "Yess, I do! I do what Princess say, promise. Saankyouu, much sankyuu, very!" He bowed quickly, thanking the nice princess, and showing her that he really appreciated her agreement to his whims. And then, he turned his face again to Abel. He looked into his friend's eyes, and smiled to him, carefully touching his forehead with his own free hand. "It be okay, you see. Good peepor. Know what do to. It be okay." Then, after a moment of hesitation (and with a slight blush on his face, with three of his fingers he took a hold of the boy's hand. Even though he said all that to reassure Abel, he himself was afraid. Very, very afraid. But he can't show that. Abel can't know, or he'll be even more scared than he is now. So...he just wanted to hold his hand. Then everything will be okay.

Boards or stretchers seemed safer than a bathrobe, but if there was nothing else. Rodney had nodded his head, feeling a little dense for having not noticed the use of it before. The woman seemed medically inclined, far more so than he might have been - and that had raised a number of questions. Was she going to stay? She seemed plainly useful everywhere. In control. In control people were good at anything!
But Rodney did not want to distract her with unnecessary statements or questions when she was clearly busy, and there was writing to be done. Sure enough, she would place herself, but he would say he needed to remember to ask her how she remained so calm.
The pencil had flicked against the paper as Rodney took name for name down. Asmadai, Johannes, Archer, Del. Four names down for researchers. The bullet name and number above their category, he'd leave the paper with them when it was all done. Lai, Mokoysis, and himself for surveillance - pending. Estrelas was cooking. Estrelas? Well, at least there was one recognizable name! He had smiled as he added the new category once he had heard the statement from the crowd.
"Alright..." He had murmured. "I've got all the names down right now. Or, the ones that I have so far." He had taken the paper, lowering his arm to his side with it as he had looked up at Johannes upon hearing the question. He wasn't entirely sure how it would work. "I ... I think it'd be good for them both to go at the same time. That's two ways to find the answer. Two possibilities is better than one possibility, isn't it?"
He had heard something somewhere within the mess about keeping a level head, about not knowing where Audun was. He thought he had heard something about a radio... That sounded smart. Incredibly so. At least to him, it had. They had to find the guy in order to do anything, and that certainly seemed a logical trick.

Lift him. Easy enough; tuning out the medical talk, Asmadai crouched to slide his arms back into place. In doing so, he got a clear eyeful of the injury and promptly regretted it. It wasn't too deep, but it was still... disgusting. He decided to translate Shee's remark for the brunette recruit, even though it seemed hardly necessary. The pretty Asian woman seemed to know that she would be allowed to stay. "Abel, Mlle Shee a dit que Hyo peut se reposer avec vous. Lai? Are you ready?"

Lai turned back to Shee as the woman gave her instructions. He crouched behind Einar's head and slipped his arms beneath the Norwegian's arms, taking his wrists. Lai had seen the scars on Einar's arms and neck before, but never his chest. While some would be repulsed, it made Lai love the man more. He only wished he could have seen this of Einar's own will and not in this scenario, but that shouldn't be on his mind right now. He saw the wound, but looked up instead.
The Russian looked to the priest and nodded once, indicating that he was. He double checked his hold and when he was sure of it spoke up. "Yes, on three Father. One...Two...Three..." He lifted with the priest, but unsure of how far of "a little" Shee wanted him raised he went by Asmadai's lead. When the priest stopped, so did he, and he held Einar with a steady and gentle hand.

As soon as Archer had starting speaking with the two women (Estrelas and.. Eponinny, she had been called?), Alberto moved away towards Rodney again, who had compiled a fair list already. Things were finally moving together, and he felt overall useless in this type of environment.
He approached and eyed the list that he had made under Lai (he finally heard the Russian's name)'s orders. Four for research so far, three for surveillance, and he was already addressing a younger blond boy who was asking about who was going where.
"Go ahead and put me down for surveillance," he said to Rodney, "Alberto Riviera. I'll definitely do what I can." Sure, he was considered a new recruit but perhaps his sharp senses could come in handy. Several sets of sharp eyes were going to be needed, as it was. "Has anybody started on what kinda supplies we need?" he added, raising an eyebrow. Estrelas had already volunteered cooking services for the researchers, but what of the other supplies they would need? He supposed everything had a natural order, but dammit, time was running out. That feeling was making him antsy, but with a quick glance over at Lai, he was ready to bank that this man was feeling much more on edge than he was (although he was doing a splendid job of not showing it).
"I can start gatherin' supplies," he volunteered. "I may need some help though.. if we want to get goin' as soon as business is done here." He looked around and scouted the crowd for an assistant, but paused as another thought dawned. "... We should get what we need written first, don't y'think?"
