MsRoseLovingJo I got to have my 2 granddaughters here today and enjoyed my day very much! Jen is a little under the weather, though. She has a UTI and they missed it the first go round - so I hope it doesn't get worse and cause premature labor - she still has until June 8th before her due date! I hope everything works outs okay and the doctor gets that taken care of

Update. They think Jen had a kidney stone and had her back in today - we think she may have passed it now, but, so much fun!

Oh wow the worst i got was a on the verge kidney infection... Due to a little monster sitting the the tube that connected the bladder and the Kidney The doctor told me (after two hospital visits and a misdiagnoses and a forced on my part ultra sound) was not to infected but because she was putting pressure and i was showing signs that all they could do was give me meds for the pain and I drink LOTS of water...
Ugh i really didnt like going after that because they said I had round ligament pains and obviously the part about me telling them I do have trouble peeing didnt clue them into it.. Really do hate doctors for that exact reason but i did go in the second time telling them ten times more I know what I was talking about and this time I was for sure the pain was my kidneys!
REMEMER VAMP! You know your body if you have a pain and they try to tell you its some where else go back the next day and pray for another doctor

Update on Jen. She ended up going in 4 times to the ER and they finally found a big cyst on her ovary and drew over 50CC of fluid out of it. She is recovering nicely now - but wow! Like the Captain said - listen to your body and get the care you need, especially when pregnant!

Man, I've spent so much time bouncing around from bag to bag, trying to find the right balance of style and functionality - what you need in a diaper bag changes with every stage! That, and half the time the heavy use wore out the bag. Your motif sounds stylish and fun - I hope it stays with you for a long time!
Meanwhile, I just can't wait to be rid of mine...come on, wee girl, you're just about totally potty-trained - let me stop carrying the extra pullups and clothes changes! Pleeeeeease?

I will be potty training soon so i feel your pain... but right now she is at the frantic age so millions of toys so we carry an old carry on suit case with snacks, a million diapers (my daughter holds her bladder till the last minute then fills it so bad she over flows) cups with juciey juice water.. toys omg she has to have toys.
i was thinking of making a purse soon for my stuuf so it looks more organized and my style .. like my work purse bright annoying

See, my rule is: you can have all the toys you can carry on your own. My son figured this out quickly and commandeered practically every small bag and case in the house - now they're *his* bags, with *his* toys in them, and he'll carry them.
My daughter, on the other hand, feels that whatever her brother's carrying is just fine - she'll just pick her favorite and then fight him for it once we're in the car. burning_eyes

All this time and he does not like the name anymore? Well, you still have time to look at what you both want! Try out what nicknames they might get with each name, as well - don't forget that!

Octavia sounds literate, Echo Moon sounds like the name of a military squadron. Distressingly similar to Moon Unit too, which I always thought was a cruel thing for Frank Zappa to do to his daughter. If you're looking for something with a mythic edge, I suggest looking for something with a happy or neutral connotation - I'm one of those people who believes that names have a lot of power, and any story connected with the name will affect how the person's life goes. And Echo has a very very sad story. Try combing through Encyclopedia Mythica together for ideas - they're a fun resource. But...yeah. Since when does my opinion matter? The little girl in question has two loving parents, who I am sure will decide on something they both like. After all, it's not like you're trying to name her Hysterectomy or Chlamydia.
