((Ah, sorries! I should probably stop multitasking, and start putting people with roomies. sweatdrop ))
"Alight Ms. Carnell. Let's see......we'll put you in Floor 3, Room 7." she said, handing her the other room key. "You'll ahve a roomate in there already, so try to get along if you can." she said. "Schedule and informatino is upstairs, the dorms across campus." she added with a nod of her head, before turning adn going "Next."
Honestly....the repetiveness..........must....survive...day.....
((so, you shall be rooming with Kit. I was debating Silvia but then figured that probably wouldn't end well, nad it looks like we have one disaster roomie pair already, so we should be set on drama for now. xd ))

Gallant laughed at the girls shyness. There was certainly a wide variety of personalities here. HE would enjoy himself very much. "Well, either I'm a student here or I'm in the wrong school." Gallant said in a bemused voice. He was happy to have found a friendly person. He offered the schedule and information package to Sarah. "I picked up an extra one, did you want it? It'll save you the trip up the rest of the stairs, I guess. I'm heading to the dorm building right now. If you plan on getting settled in, you can walk with me. I'll even carry some of your stuff to make it worhtwhile." He put up his hands in mock defence. "And I dont want anything in return." He said, his best smile on show.

Sam smiled back at the clerk and took her key, the cold metal felt odd in her hands. She stepped away and headed down the hall until she reached the stairwell, stopping just short of it she looked up at its expanse. You can do this Sammy, c'mon! The women placed a boot clad foot on the step and pulled herself up, as she took another the rhythm of the stairs seemed easier. Why was climbing stairs so hard? Forget that! Who was Kit? Would she be nice to her? The Wolf yapped and pranced around happily, if She liked this then obviously its safe to continue. The woman continued up until her ears perked at something, she wasn't sure what it was but curiosity always seemed to get the best of her.

Silvia finally finished unpacking, forcing herself to put the clothes away, but did it neatly since she didnt' want wrinkles.
"Ahhhhh, I now live in this sexy luxury. YES!" she said as she flopped onto her bed and put a fist in teh air in victory. "I guess I should wait here a bit til hte place clears a bit.....hm? Aw man, I thought I DID my toenails! Guess I forgot." she sat up and shrugged, then picked up a bottle of sparkly black nailpolish from her large makeup collection.
"Might as well do them to pass the time-oh! TV!" she said cheerfully, as she got up and plopped onto the couch a remote in one hand and her polish in the other. "Looks like they got cable....sweet!" she said, as she laid out very unladylike and began painting her toenails.
"Yay; all done!" Kit said cheefully as she wiped some sweat from her brow; she had unpacked everything and moved it aside (the case a bit heavy even after empty, hence why she acutally used some energy).
Her side of the room looked fairly cheery (and probably a bit childish), but she was satasified and it felt a bit more homey. She went out to the balcony and watched all the people still running about. "It's crowded down there, all right." she said to herself with a nod, as she leaned against the rail and watched with interest. "I TOLD Silvia it pays to be early, that lazybutt woman..."

When Saki finished the song she was playing, she put her ocarina in the desk drawer and went over to the window. So many people, she thought. It'll be hard to fight the urge to suck their blood, but I will try. I refuse to let the vampire blood in my veins take control of my life. Saki sighed as she thought, as she had so many times before,Why do I have to be part vampire?

Sarah blushed again. "I didn't think you would..." she said. "I mean, I wouldn't..." You're just digging yourself deeper. Stop it. Sarah took a deep breath. Being around Gallant was making her lose her head. The boy practically radiated friendliness. Sarah smiled and took the papers from Gallant. "That would be nice," she whispered. "Thank you." She handed him her duffel bag and they continued downstairs. As they came out, Sarah noticed that the boy who had been staring at her was still there. He looked at her and his eyes narrowed. Sarah shivered and unconsciously drew closer to Gallant. *** Two students had come down from the schedules office. Jasper looked over to see who they were. There was the blond guy, and- Jasper's eyes narrowed. The girl. The fading girl was with the blond guy. That was not acceptable. He had plans for that girl, and if she had acquired protection - "What's your last name, please?" Jasper snapped an infuriated "What?" at the woman before realizing that he'd turned away from the fading girl. He turned around to look for them, but the two were already out the door. Jasper growled under his breath. "Tenebrio," he told the woman. He felt like taking his anger out on her, but then realized she could still be useful. So he hid his feelings under a polite mask.

((Sora Kitty, don't you think there'd be complications with a girl with wolves and a half-cat girl?))
Reven had grown annoyed by all the noise in the dorms and decided that he would leave. He quickly made sure everything was all set and it was clear which desk and bed and opened up the window to jog over through the forest. I heard there was a lake behind here, It'd be nice to go swimming, I need to do more endurance exercises, pushing in the truck was it for strength, and he cared much more for speed and endurance.
Breaking through the forest he saw the beautiful blue lake. It's waters were sparkling, and he had run through the forest and was sweating from the heat alone. It had it's own little beaches, and waves lightly fell along the beach, it was slightly breezy. Seeing this Reven was very excited, it was the most beautiful thing he had seen in a long time. His time in jail was very hideous and usually gross, and the time he spent at home was getting ready for school.
Reven ran and jumped into the refreshing waters, they were somewhat cool, but warm enough not to chill him. He swam around under the water, very surprised that the water had not burned his eyes when he opened them. The water was so clear he could see the bottom, which was 50 feet down from where he was swimming. Amazing, and look at those fish, they're so peaceful, and that salmon, oh my that is one tasty looking salmon. Reven was the kind of vegetarian who didn't eat land animals, and he didn't eat/drink dairy products either, unless they are organic. He dived down and tried to catch the salmon. The salmon easily slipped between his hands and swam away. It's never that easy you idiot. He thought to himself.
Air, you need air you dumbarse! Reven thought beginning to feel light-headed, he quickly resurfaced gasping heavily trying to get as much air as possible. After catching his breath he realized his hair was all over his face, and he was completely blind, he dunked his head and pushed his long brunette hair back to keep it out, hoping it wouldn't bother him too much. It was short during his jail time, but during the time he was free he never bothered to cut it, and now he wasn't sure how to cut it so he just left it. He began swimming around chasing fish for entertainment.

Ryuk yawned as he looked around at all the different people. He directed his attention to the line, he was already second next in line, but the boy in front of him was strange. That look, the stance, Raiden what do you think of this one.
Hmmm, he is a harsh one i think. believes in only helping himself, i would watch him. be wary, he may stab you in the back if you arent carefull. Raiden replied.
Right, ill be carefull. He then turned his thoughts to what he wanted as a room. i guess it really doesnt matter. he thought.

After a moment, the pain subdued. Luckily for her, her recovering abilities weren't bad. Charlie took another glance at her ankle, it was merely red, there was no swelling or fracture. She stood up and rotated her ankle to make sure she could walk properly and headed for the forest. No need to consult a nurse for just a minor injury.
"Okay, now to find food," she mumbled to herself. Cafeteria food was never satisfying, Charlie needed raw meat with blood gushing out at the sides. Just thinking about the fresh flesh of an animal made her mouth water.
"A rabbit would do really," she said out loud, now dropping down to all fours and racing into the wilderness. It felt good to have the wind rush pass her with such speed. She shook her head, the barrettes coming loose quickly and allowed her hair to cascade down her back. It would be much better if she was in her wolf form...but the full moon had appeared just yet.
Lost in her train of thought, she forgot to stop and broke through the forest.
"Aw crap," Charlie muttered jolting to a halt, she quickly turned to head back when she heard a light splash from the water. Her head tilted and she got up to her feet. She brushed at the dirt on her skirt as she watched the human swim. A smile grew on her face when she noticed that he failed to catch that salmon.
"Isn't it cold there?" Charlie boldly called out to the swimmer, cocking her head and gesturing to the water.

Akane stammered towards and up the stairway, the weight of her staff weighing her down. It had always been a burden, ever since she was cursed 3 years ago. Using the staff as a support, she literally dragged herself up the stairs to the next level. 'Finally,' Akane thought as she let out a small sigh.
Akane looked back at the stairway she had just climbed and saw Sam making her way up. "Hi, I'm Akane," she greeted her meekly. Her heart pounded as she leaned on her staff. Would the woman accepted as a friend? Would she ever have a friend?

[[Currupted dart I was thinking the same thing! XD however the Wolf is in her head, she's a werewolf and the personality exists within her conciousness]]
The quiet greeting made the women turn and she saw the Elf standing there, smiling back she said, "I'm Samantha. Just call me Sam." The She-Wolf yipped in happiness at the greeting of her new friend, she was going to like this very much. "Do you know where...Room 7 Third Floor is?"
Sam turned back towards the scent and passed a neatly typed sign that read Third Floor, she looked at her key for the room number then looked down hall. After a few doors she finally stood infront of hers. The She-Wolf's hackles rose and a growl rumbled from her throat, by instinct Sam reeled the Wolf back and lightlly brushed the down her fur. Easy there girl; we'll never meet new people if you make me attack them. The Wolfs growling ceased and She sat back on her haunches, although the growl was now a rumble in Her throat. The Woman sighed at the Wolfs stubborness and placed her hand on the cold knob, sliding the keyinto the lock it clicked and the door swung open.
It all happened so fast Sam could not figure out what happened; her mind tore in half as the scent swept by her in one sudden motion. Cats shouldn't have bothered her but for some reason THIS one did; Sam clucthed her head and keeled over as the Wolf struggled to break free. NO! No! Please don't change, please! The snarling in her head increased and her arms released the duffel bag as it slumped to the floor, her hands slammed hard on the floor and she screamed as her mind split.
The woman raised her head to the startled Neko and cried as she saw the look on her face, the fear linned expression made the She-Wolf suddenly stop, Sam sobbed to herself as the pain in her head depleated until it was completely gone. The woman stood on shaky kegs and weakly pulled the duffel bag up, forcing to take one step towards the enpty bead she threw the bag onto it and squeezed her eyes shut. She had ahaunting feeling that her chance for a 'friendship' with this girl was shot and she couldn't deal with it. Taking a deep breath she turned and looked at the Cat-eared girl and hoped her eyes weren't gold. "I'm sorry Miss...Your smell just caught me off guard. I won't let it happen again."
Sam placed the key in her pocket and walked numbly to the window that lay past the dumb-struck girl, sliding the window up Sam placed one foot on the sill and hoisted herself up. Breathing in the crisp air she gave one final sympathetic look to the girl and jumped; the wind brushing her hair back eased Sam's pain, she hit the floor silently on all fours; now she could let the Wolf out. The Change wasn't too painful as long as she thought of it like as something else; she imagined running water lapping at rocks as her bones broke and reformed.
The whole process took about fifteen minutes, record time in her father's pack; shaking her black clad fur the chain around her neck changled and the metal wristbands clanked lightly on eachother. The She-Wolf howled one great sound and took off towards the forest as fast as her legs could carry her; not caring where she was going just as long as the feeling of wanting to attack that poor girl blew past her like the leaves behind her back paws.
[[FYI her wolf form is an actual black wolf the size of a bear]]

((While cats and dogs can be hostile towards each other, the general consensus is that dogs well only attack cats on instinct if the cat is moving as it is the dogs predator nature to chase moving prey that drives them to attack cats rather than an inherent hatred toward the species itself. On the cats part, dogs tend to be larger than cats, a characteristic that automatically puts the cat in a defensive mode (and can initiate hostilities between the pair). A dog and cat introduced to the other species at a young age or in a situation were the other does not seem threatening does not generally produce hostile encounters. In this is case, it is likely that the scent of the cat would drive primal urges in the wereworlf if the werewolf had become accustomed to chasing house cats similar to kits alternate form. No doubt Kit would also be afraid of the more imposing figure of the werewolf in either form. This is of course hypothetically speaking from my point of view and has no reflection of the other players intimate knowledge of their own characters.))
He almost let out a sigh of relief, but instead hoisted the duffel bag carefully nestled between his violin case and his own satchel. As their feet touched the ground floor once again, Gallant, who had been incessantly talking about himself for the past minute and a half, noticed the boy staring in their direction. His voice trailed of and his smile wavered on his lips, a sense of grim negative energy flashing across his face. Suddenly, the receptionist spoke and the boy snapped around. Gallant took the moment to make it to the door, only once he had reached it did he remember he had been with someone else. His memory was suddenly jogged as he realized Sarah had inched closer to him and stayed in his shadow. To cover his lapse in memory, he grabbed the door and held it open for her, ushering her out and glancing back to make sure they had a head start on the odd fellow.
"Well...that was disturbing, to stay the least. Nobody you know right?" Gallant said to the girl while attempting to recompose himself. Not only had he been put off by the eerie feeling of the strange student, he also couldn't figure out how he, Gallant Goldheart, could have forgotten about a girl. Hopefully she had not noticed.

Saki hears screaming from the floor above. She briefly thinks about going to see what happened, then thought better of it. They'll probably better off without me wanting to drink blood, she thought, thinking it was a human who was screaming. Sure enough, the screaming stopped. Thought so. Now what should I do? I don't think there would be any other vampires here to talk to, she thought, not knowing about Silvia. Even so, I need to try to talk to humans to make friends without wanting to bite them. And with that, she left the dorm, looking for someone to talk to.

Distance has always been an issue. Walking took too long, and running was tiresome, and drew attention if done in the wrong place. Porting was even worse. It took more energy. B'dump, and the baby in the back of the bus cried even louder as the doors of the public transport opened. Nathan rose up from his bucket-seat, slung his bag over his shoulder, and made his way off the bus. The baby cried louder, as the mother resorted to bouncing it on her knee. Right.
It was just down the street, apparently. His... school. That so entirely and utterly wrong in his head. He was away from his caretaker, off to be 'taught' how to use his gift. Like anyone could help with it. If he was given a month, or even a week, he'd make sure he didn't mess up this time. But no, he'd have to do this... place for an indefinite amount of time? No... he'd make it out before then.
These thoughts carried him as he approached a collection of buildings. Wait, a collection meant more than... what, three? Even so, they were about the size of his caretaker's home. And he was supposed to stay here with others? Complete and perfect strangers who would have no reason to not to kill him. Nathan shook his head. Paranoia was something he was trying to work out of his system. It made him sloppy, and edgy.
He approached on building, one that had an obvious line inside. That... would be somewhere to go. Is that where he'd get his dorm room? He stepped inside, and saw people standing around, while one by one they were guided towards a figure that was handing out keys and telling them where to go. He stayed where he stood, just inside the doorway of the building, and watched as the line filed out. This was troublesome, in more ways than one.
((Hi everyone. I'm ShaydenPanda, and my room is prone to fires.))
