Lumanny That kind of goes against the point, but it's been slow there so sure, just quote this permission to do so. It kinda has to do with family... When I was about 3 or 4 years old I went to a private Catholic school where being a left-handed person was evil or something. My teacher used to tie my left hand to the desk so I'd write with my right hand. So one day, I asked my aunt, who was my writing tutor, if she had any rope so I could tie my hand to the desk. She started laughing at me and asked me why I needed rope. "Because, if I write with my left hand, the Devil's gonna come get me!" She never lets me live that down gonk

Funny! xd
This can't top it, but since we're deviating from just Family Stories....
I was hanging out with doomjax and was saying how 'He was like the Robinm to my Batman.'
'No, I'm not."
Then I made him look down. By pure coincidence he was wearing a red shirt and khaki shorts and I was wearing all black!

Lol! I love it when that happens! Many a time have my mate and I looked down to see that I was wearing blue and red with a cape and a big S, and he looked down to see he was wearing a black/red latex suit with a spider on the chest... mrgreen

I think most of us have to compromise our special dominance for the sake of school. Those darn mouses on the right side of the computer. Freakin spirals on the left side of notebooks. The world is at odds with us.
Does anyone know why it was so weird/bad to be left handed?

Left-handed issues:
Scissors Cameras/Camcorders Knifes Computer Mice Guitars Pianos Trumpets (but not really because the French horn is played with the left hand) Golf clubs Cricket bats Baseball bats Tin-openers Potato-peelers Cork-screws Number keys on a keyboard
It's supposedly bad because 'the devil is left-handed.'...The Devil also supposedly has curly hair too...
I tend to curl my hand around my pencil and write from the top….

The devil is also supposed to manifest in posessed people as OCD scrupulosity symptoms.
Not a commercial for my thread on my other thread, just my skills set.

My parents got me a sewing machine for xmas and were kind enough to seek out a pair of left handed scissors. I love them!
You know pop art may show different, but I'm pretty sure Jesus had curly hair.

And I'm pretty sure he had a thick black beard, stood at 5ft tall, smelt like old socks, had a massive shnoz and spoke Aramaic with a thick accent.
But if Christians still want to portray him as a 6ft blond man with blue eyes and a strong physique who smells of roses, looks a little bit Germandic, speaks English softly and has a neatly trimmed goatee, let 'em.
I'm not gonna be the one to point out he was very Jewish.

kingpinsqeezels My parents got me a sewing machine for xmas and were kind enough to seek out a pair of left handed scissors. I love them! Lucky! My brother was once saying that 'It can't be too hard to cut with right-handed scissors', so I took his scissors, inverted them into lefty scissors and made him do the whole project with those scissors. I changed them back about 3 months later.
