::looks at her for a long while, then crashes into her, wrapping her in a tight hug. It's one of the way she uses her power, to plant a seed of hope, and Mariata knows it:: It's alright!

She growled. "Get away from me Bella! I don't want one of your seeds, I don't need your stupid hope!" She shoved Bella away from her and glared. She could be light hearted and good natured when she wanted but when it came to Bella and her powers she preferred to stay away from them.

*Ran quirked an eyebrow and looked at her questioningly* Well, I suppose every group has a few exceptions... *He sighed as they reached the base of the hill and started into the town* ...yet the only two I met have both attacked me...and the air humans are the ones who killed my father and brother. *He looked down at the ground as they walked* Even if I did meet a nice one...I don't think I could ever forgive them.

Arianna winced again mentally. Her plan just flew out the window....but she could understand if Ran could never forgive any air human for what happend to his father and brother. Her face sadden a bit at that thought. After making sure Ran was alright she better leave before he finds out about what she really was. She thought that option over in her head and figured it would be best. "..but still....not all air humans are bad...most are very friendly..." she whispered.

*Ran looked at her and almost replied but felt the shadow cast over them. He looked up quickly and saw the wings spread on the persons back. Ran quickly tackled the girl next to him into an alley, protecting her from the impending threat* Get down! *Ran's head shot through with pain and he winced as sat up, looking down at the girl* A-Are you alright? That could have been bad... *He looked back over his shoulder and towards the open street* Oh no, I guess they are really attacking us. Pssht, just like them to attack a peaceful town... stressed *He turned his look back at her and smiled weakly, his head still killing him* By the way...I never got your name. I'm Ran.

Arianna saw the shadow over cast them both but then was quickly tackled much to her discomfort into an alley by Ran. She gave a little laugh at Ran trying to be the hero but her eyes widen a bit at Ran's last 2 statement. "I...I'm alright...my name is Arianna and the air humans aren't attacking, I swear their not.." Arianna replied towards teh end she spoke up more to defend her race. Then looked infront of her to see the goddess Belinda. She was shocked to see the goddess and bowed to her to show respect.

*Ran glared at the goddess, who still appeared to him as an air human* What's the big idea?! Coming here to finish the job your friends started?! scream *Ran gritted his teeth as his head throbbed then looked to the bowing Arianna. He was shocked to see her bowing and stood her upright, his face covered in sweat* Why are you bowing?! She's one of them! Don't show her respect! *He turned and glared at the girl with her wings still spread* I don't know who you are or what you want but... *He positioned himself between Arianna and the new intruder. He wasn't much of a fighter and in fact, he was pretty weak, but he still had to try. He looked back at the girl behind him then back at the air human. He had to protect his new friend. This girl who had helped him after his first attack. He'd watch out for her* If you really want to start a fight...then start one with me. You'll be surrounded by normal humans in no time and then you'll fall. So I'd suggest you leave...now. stressed *Ran didn't want to fight her, because he knew that he couldn't win. So here he was, trying to talk her into leaving*

Arianna by force thanks to Ran was turned up right from her bow. Then watched him trying to play hero again by standing infront of her. Again she winced by what he said about air humans. "But Ran, Lady Belinda is not an air human....." she said as she tugged on Ran's shirt. Then quickly pulled her hand back...taking a step back with a sad expression on her face. I should leave....I shoudl summon my wings then leave before he tries to hurt me...but his condition....he shouldn't be going around picking fights with a goddess. she thought. She looked at Belinda and gave a small smile at the goddess still showing her respect.
