[Finally, I have some time off from exams.]
----
Flint picked up the half-built instrument behind the inn, quickly finishing it by nailing down the animal skin over the gourd.
And just like that, he built himself a banjo, and instrument still in its infancy but rather popular, among some people.
He hauled it over his shoulder, and walked into the inn. He placed the instrument on his bed, locked the door on his way out, and made his way back down outside.
His new task was to try and find the girls, and Mike. He soon found them, not far from a clothing store...as well as a few others.
"Hey there." he said, walking up to them.
----
[And as a result, I have a simple post xD]

Ashe took her purse back from Sorrow. "There were no problems paying?"
She was about to stand up and take her leave from Djers when Flint walked up. "Hay is for horses, Flint..." she said with a straight face. "Did you get what you needed?"

I don't exactly have a hunch for any evil in that boy. Nope, no malicious intent.

Djers looked back over at Ashe.

"Pardon, Ashe, sorry to interrupt. Caught up as I was in the illustrious swordsman, I forgot to ask. May Lido and I join you in your quest? Perhaps we can kill several birds with one stone by fulfilling both our commissions."

Djers had a notable tinge of sincerity in his eyes. Lido was hugging the dwarf's leg as it looked up with eyes as wide open as an offshore horizon on a clear evening.

[Sorry, I'm taking a temporary hiatus from the RP...my Gaia has busted itself, apparently a Canadian only issue...if you hit View, then Page Style, then No Style, you'll see what I'm seeing. Everything has been replaced with a white background and text, and this RP box is the size of my thumb at the bottom of the page. So, I'll wait for it to resolve first.]

[That was the shortest Hiatus in the world. It fixed itself, so here's my post.]
----
The corner of Flint's mouth twitched, and he tried not to smile. "Yes I did." he said casually.
He looked at the dwarf, then at the wolf.
"Hi." he said. "So, you're interested in joining our little band of adventurers?" he asked.
----
[And sadly, its short.]

"Well, I figured if you're off to see the king, and I'm off to see the king, then perhaps our intentions are quite similar, and we can solve each other's problems by helping each other out. As introduced quickly before, I'm Djers, this..." He motions to the wolf at his feet. "This is my companion and fellow fighter Lido. Not only do I tame animals, but I am also a hunter. I-

"Oh, wait, I almost forgot."

Djers Haschen motioned for Lido to "stay" as he pulled his rifle out from behind his back.

"I have a bit of business to take care of."

He approached the weapon shop, gun in hand. The assistant was still stationed outside, but instead of a snide look on his face, there lay a hint of chariness. "Uh, no pets sir."

"Right. My "pet" is right over there. Keep an eye on him for me, please."

"Oh, right. Uh, sorry, Mr..."

"Don't you be worrying about me."

Djers emerged from the gun shop with what appeared to be a new rifle. In truth, it was the same firearm, but freshly cleaned and reloaded (albeit locked, to prevent any unwanted disturbances).

He re-approached Flint. "Aha, sorry about that. So, what do you say to my rambling?"

[Argh, long projects. I'll probably be pretty busy for the rest of the week, but I'll try to post ASAP. For now...kinda slow and boring.]

Mike had been a little taken back by the sudden turn of events. He hadn't anticipated that the small group would suddenly grow, especially with another dwarf and his canine companion. To be honest, Mike had been perfectly fine with the small group. He had learned that traveling in larger groups usually led to alot of bloodshed when they encountered enemies. And now they were all going to see the king together? Mike wondered if their plan as getting in as musicians would work still.

The whole event made Mike's head spin. He told his companions he'd meet them back at the inn and headed back, arriving there in no time. He made his way up the wall to the roof and sat on the very top of the chimney. He slowly pulled out his ocarina and began to play a tune, the soft gentle notes being carried through the wind.

Flint waited patiently for the dwarf to get back, eyeing the wolf the whole time.
It was rather large, and seemed it would be taller than him if it stood on its hind legs.
"Aha, sorry about that. So, what do you say to my rambling?"
"Wasn't much rambling there." he said idly. "By the way, the name's Flint." he added.
"So...you want to see the king with us? Do you have any entertaining skills?" Flint asked. "You know, singing, playing and instrument?"

Ashe had sat on the ground between Flint and the wolf, pulled out a small book, and was reading it while Djers had gone to the shop. She looked up when Mike mentioned leaving and went back to the book. When Djers got back she put the book away with a soft sigh and looked at the two. Even with her sitting she was about a foot or so taller that Flint. She felt a little awkward being the tall one of the three, but she didn't want to change forms in the middle of a street in the middle of the day.

((Couldn't think of anything for her...AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETLY DIFFERENT!))

Shiango was furious. Contri had gone against his orders yet again and tried to capture the Fallen Angel from that annoying group. The one good thing that had come out of it the first time was that the angle had indirectly gotten rid of the annoying elf leader. But the gang had stuck together, and added a DEAMON to there numbers! One of his own had turned against him. He knew Mike's story, but he couldn't abide the fact that one of his subjects had turned his back on his King. He paced back and forth around his study, thinking of way to disband and destroy everyone of them.

((change of color for Ashe and say hi to everyone's favorite bad guy!))

"All I know is to sing. I was not so inclined to learn an instrument in my better days. However, if that is the condition with which we may see the king, I suppose I have no oppositions to it. However, the king may not believe that a singing bard also has a hunter's license and charter... Perhaps we could travel together, consult the king separately, and then meet up again and help each other out when necessary."

As the boy proceeded into the castle, he looked around at the displays, the old artifacts and portraits of older times... "Hmph... If my sources were right..." the boy muttered, "Then... there should be others coming...? I guess all I can do is wait..."

Sorrow was making her way back to the inn couldn’t help but think something strange was going on. As she approached the inn she could of sworn someone was watching her form the shadows. She opened the door to the tavern slash inn, tilting her head looking around, and hoped she could catch up to Mike. He didn’t quite seem like himself lately. Sorrow walked up the long creeping stairs but still didn’t see him. She let out a sigh and headed for her room.

Opened the old wooden door she plopped herself down on the bed. She brushed some hair out the way of her eyes, it was starting to get long again. She unstrapped her lute and set it on the nightstand next to her and laid back on the warm bed.

“Hmm.. sneaking into the castle, will this really work?”

[From the looks of it we should just walk right into the castle.]

Mike was still playing his ocarina a while later. His mouth was fairly dry, but it had been so long since he had played one. His skills were flowing back to him, being able to play a fast array of notes beautifully. Soon, he was playing some of the most wonderous songs that most elven musicians knew. He felt that he was being watched, not by a shadowy figure, but by his mother. His eyes were shining brightly in the afternoon sun.

He stopped and put his ocarina away. He was fairly parched, so he headed down to the in and grabbed a glass of water. It wasn't too cold, but still felt good to drink. The water was free, but Mike threw two gold coins the innkeeper's way. The man looked quite tough, but not when he was being so well treated. A smile showed Mike that he was now welcome to stay there anytime. With that, Mike headed back up to the roof.

He was walking back to the chimney when he heard a sound beneath him. He swung his head over the side of the roof to see inside Sorrow's room. He saw her lying on the bed and smiled. He pondered if he should stop in or not, but was starting to wonder if that would be a good idea. He was in a good mood, so he grabbed the side of the roof and swung onto the small balcony. He gently knocked on the door, hoping he wouldn't be met with a swift boot to the face. Though he could probably stick the landing, it was still a good way down to the ground beneath him.

((Greetings to all my new friends! Thank yeh for allowing me to join into your rp. I hope to get along well with all of you.))

Tengi stood on a roof top within a couple hundred feet of the castle. His cloak billowed in the wind while the malicious air messed and tangled his hair. Carefully Tengi analyzed what his possible routes to the alluring window could be. In front Tengi nearly thirty feet apart stood two trees. Having made up his mind Tengi made sure his head was uncovered, whispering to himself;
“This one’ll be all me.”
Tengi leapt to the first tree, intending to proceed from there to the second tree onward to the castle. As the familiar force of gravity attempted to prevent Tengi from hitting his mark he recalled why exactly he was doing this.
A couple hours earlier in the market
“As I said earlier, it’s impossible to get into the castle. There are just to many guards!” remarked one shopkeeper to another.
“Why do you have to be so negative? You should know what I always say, one must reject common sense to make the impossible possible!” The other female shopkeeper exclaimed.
To Tengi, who was passing by at the time, the female shopkeeper’s words reminded him of his mothers. In some twisted sense of balance Tengi decided to secretly prove this women right.
A-roooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
A twisted howl ripped Tengi from his thoughts as well as off target. Tengi hit the tree straight on then proceeded to fall down it in cartonesque style hitting one branch at a time.
“Ah! Ai! Urg! Bleh! Ooof!”
With a thud the unlucky rouge hit the ground with a thud from the impact and a crack from his back. Then in the distance Tengi could hear the guards.
“Did you hear that!? Let’s go check it out!”
Tengi jumped to his feet determined to go the day with out going through the trouble of losing the guards.
He nearly made it out one of the side gates in the wall when he heard;
“There he is! Get em!”
Doubling his pace Tengi sprinted for the inn district. As soon as he broke out of his pursuers line of sight he dived into an inn for cover to the dying notes of an ocarina.
