Korsu let out a shaky breath when he saw that it was someone he knew. "Oh, it's Hikari.." he said more to himself. "Ah Fu-"
'Don't mention me!' Fujiya snapped quickly in Korsu's mind as he cut him off.
"Ah, Uhm.. Someone told me I shouldn't stay at my house.. I-I think my parent's are dead." Korsu said, he loosened his muscles and let his arms hang at his sides instead of infront of his body when he saw Hikari lighten her stance. 'Why shouldn't I mention you to her?' he asked inwardly to Fujiya.
'What do you think others would think if they knew you had another person sharing your body?' Fujiya asked with a patient sigh.
'Oh.' Korsu thought. Turning his attention to Hikari again, he caught what she just said and said as he tried to return her smile, "I think that's a good idea.."

Hikari paused a moment. His parents were dead. That brought her back to the reality of it all... So were hers. But, she knew she shouldn't burden Korsu with her own problems... He was younger and needed more help than she did, right? And it was her duty to try to care for people when they were in need...
Serena knew HIkari only too well. When others needed help and such, Hikari would push anything out of the way in order to help others... And often times she would forget her own problems. Serena shook her head at the girl most times... Bottling up and forgetting such problems was no way to go about life, but HIkari did it, and Serena knew it would only be a matter of time until she let it all out.
"Alright," she said as she pulled her hood back up, though not so much as to shade her face again. "Do you need to check on anyone in particular?" she asked him curiously, wondering if he had any more family members... If not, Hikari wasn't sure what she could do to help the situation... Sure, she'd do anything in her power, but she wasn't exactly sure what it would ask of her...

Korsu shook his head lightly and said, "None of which are close. But I think it's for the best.. as long as they're not in this city they should be alright.." 'I hope..' He added to himself at the end.
Fujiya felt a slight pang of sadness for this boy he was sharing his body with. He was used to losing people close to him so he knew what it felt like. But he had gotten over it. On the other hand, Korsu hadn't ever lost anyone close to him and he never had to go through it. Except for now. 'Tell her we should start moving. It's not safe to stick around in the open like this.' he told Korsu.
Korsu opened his mouth to say something when he heard a rustling and his head snapped over in the direction of the noise. He dimly realized that his kodachi was half drawn and infront of him. A moment later a large black creature crawled out of the shadows and let out a large bellow, sending chills down Korsu's spine. His eye's widened and his mouth dropped open.
'Don't just stand there! Do something!' Fujiya said in frustration, knowing he couldn't do something unless Korsu allowed it. Or he took over without permission.

'Hikari!' she yelled in the girl's head, but it was too late. Hikari had been so distracted by Korsu's story and words, that the girl hadn't realized the danger they had been in as of a few moments ago. Serena, on the other hand, had been trying to get the girl's attention, but after so many years of it, Hikari had learned to block out the angel at times...
"Korsu! Look out!" she said, as a black creature attempted to leap at them from behind, but all too fast, she moved, and pushed the boy out of the way, getting pinned by the monster herself. "Damnit!" she swore beneath her breath, and wriggled until she was able to reach for her daggers. With both in hand, she swiped left and right, and up, cutting up and piercing the creature, which let out a wild screech before collapsing, and a second later, fading off, as if made of ash. Of course, Hikari paid a bit of a price saving Korsu, and she had gotten quite the nasty gash in her arm for it...
'HIkari, I'm taking over,' Serena said, sounding a bit panicked to HIkari, who accepted it as it was... She was tired, weak, injured, and not in the right mind to fight at all... Moments later, it was Serena who pulled off the hood, revealing the change in appearance, not caring if Korsu saw.
"Damnit, there are so many of them!" she said out loud, drawing bow and arrow, and, with her power to draw energy from the things that surrounded her, she began to carefully draw energy from her enemies, careful not to touch Korsu, as she gathered strength. A beautifully bright golden orb began to form, and using it, she empowered her arrows with the raw energy, sending them flying toward the black creatures, where upon contact, they blew up and disappeared.

From the shock of suddenly being attacked and then pushed out of the way, Korsu fainted.
Fujiya panicked slightly from the sudden darkness but when he realized what happened, he swiftly took over. When he stood up, it was no longer Korsu but Fujiya. His hair had darkened from blue to black and he was now a full grown man instead of a 13 year old boy. He pulled his now back length hair back into a pony and he held out his hands, two katanas appearing. Getting into a fighting stance he muttered, "Fujiya coming through.. Thanks for the warning kid.." With the added sarcastic remark, he swiftly started to cut down the creatures.
After Fujiya and Serena had finished off all of the creatures and it became quiet again, Fujiya finally turned to Serena/Hikari and examined her. Noting that the presence had changed. He also looked over himself, checking for any serious injuries. But he hadn't picked up anything bad. Just a multitude of cuts.

For a moment Serena was distracted by the man's voice... And strangely, the man that was now fighting along side her. "Hey. I would have warned them, had Hikari not learned how to block me out, alright?" she said, feeling slightly offended. 'Smart a**...' she thought as she continued to fight the black creatures off until it fell silent once more.
"Well, that was nice..." she said softly, returning her bow and arrow to the place it once rested before looking down to the wound Hikari had gotten. It didn't show on Serena's body, but she knew where it was on HIkari's, and, lifting her arm to the spot, she placed her palm over it. Her palm glowed for a moment before she pulled away. She had healed Hikari, and now left the girl to rest...
"Want me to uhm... Heal you?" she asked him curiously, wondering if he were the type that didn't like o accept help for fear of looking weak. Hikari was like that... and it frustrated Serena to no end. "I'm Serena, by the way," she said, still looking at the man up and down. It was always interesting to see another being like her... One that lived within another...

"Ah, No. Sorry about that. The previous remark was for Korsu. He has the knack of randomly fainting and letting me push through the darkness to take control." Fujiya said with a slight smile. "And I can heal myself, but thanks for the offer." he added as he closed his eye's and his cuts started to heal themselves.
Afterwards he allowed his katanas to disappear and then scowled at the clothes he was wearing. He picked up the pack that Korsu had been carrying and rummaged through it quickly. With a small smile he pulled out the black hakama pants he had told Korsu to buy. He pulled off the top that Korsu had been wearing and put it in the pack as he then stood up and looked at Serena.
"Turn around." he said as he stepped around a corner, out of her view. He then quickly changed out of the shorts and into the hakama bottom. Then walking back to the pack he stored Korsu's clothes and stood up again. "That's better" he said to himself as he then looked at Serena again, "I'm Fujiya if you hadn't heard earlier. It's a pleasure to meet another person who is similar to me."

Arisu had been so intent on fighting the creatures in front of her that she didn't hear some approach from behind. She looked back and saw them, a little too late. The creature had formed its arm into a battle axe and had was bringing it down. Arisu jumped out of the way and out of the house, getting a wicked-looking cut on her leg. "Damn..." she muttered. "Why didn't I hear them coming?"

"Huh? Oh, that's fine..." she said, understanding his statement from earlier much better now. She heard his remark about self healing and nodded, watching as he did so. It was a remarkable thing, watching someone like her do the things she did... And frankly, it was just amazing meeting another counterpart. She knew there were others, she just didn't know she'd ever be fortunate enough to meet one...
She turned when he asked it of her, still feeling shocked into silence, and when he returned, she faced him once more, admiring him, in a way, and curious. A part of her wanted to reach out and touch him to see if he was really there, or perhaps she was just dreaming. She shook her head, pushing away all silly thoughts and nodded. "Fujiya, hm? Pleased to meet you too... I knew there were others that existed, I just didn't know I'd ever meet another..." she said softly, looking up at him. Sure, Serena stood a few inches higher than Hikari, but all in all, they were about the same... Same build and such...
Of crouse, Fujiya here and Korsu, his host... They seemed complete opposites. Whereas Fujiya seemed certain and strong, Korsu seemed uncertain and rather weak. Of course, Serena couldn't expect much out of a young boy... "Do you know anything of these black creatures?" she asked him as she motioned to him that they should begin moving...

Fujiya shook his head as he shouldered the pack and then allowed one of the katanas to appear in his hand, ready to attack if the creatures showed up again. "I know nothing of the creatures. I only knew something was wrong about an hour ago. That was around the time when the boys parents left the house."
As they started moving down the street again, he constantly scanned the shadows, making sure they weren't going to be ambushed. Trying to think of a conversation so it wasn't completely quiet he asked Serena, "How long have you been with Hikari for?"

Serena thought for a moment. "Too long. I came to her when she was seven..." she said with a nod of her head. "It was really difficult to live with her at first... She was so different back then... In the sense that she was much weaker and much more influential..." she said, reminiscing the harsh days HIkari would have with her mother. "I think I convinced her to grow a bit of a backbone," she said, laughing a little.
She paused. "How about you and Korsu?" she asked him, looking at him curiously.

Fujiya thought back before replying, "I have been with Korsu for seven years. So when he was about 6 years of age." He let himself chuckle slightly before continuing, "If you think of him as a coward now, think of what he was like before I started changing him little by little."

"Don't worry about it,"Shizuma wavered. "The thing had to be dealt with. I just got to get out of this god forsaken house."
"Come on there has to be some where else we can stay right?" Shizuma questioned, looking back at Takeko. "And with both our powers we can take down those creatures if they mess with us."
Shizuma slightly smiled before continuing down the street.

Are you okay? Hana asked, sensing that Arisu was hurt by her train of thoughts.
I'm fine. Don't worry. There's no way I'm going to be done in by these creatures, Arisu thought to Hana comfortingly. She stood up from her position on the road and winced from the pain. "I hope you're prepared to die," she said to the creatures. Her ears twitched as she heard the creatures coming out of the house after her. She picked up her fallen blade and cut the nearest creature's head off.
You're in no condition to fight! Let me take over!
But-
Don't even mention the fact that I'm blind! I want to help!
I was going to say that you have no experience. You aren't ready to face this many creatures. You don't even know how to use a katana.
Yes, but...I want to help...
If you fight, the creatures will overwhelm you. Best to leave this to me. Arisu heard Hana sigh.
Fine. I guess I have no choice.
Thank you, Hana. Arisu cut another creature in half. Her cut was bleeding. "Damn. If I don't take care of this soon, I'll end up fainting from blood loss," she muttered to no one in particular.
