King glared at Gem, "Sloan was a genius and the best assaisin of the century. Wesley killed him, Sloan was my mentor. He practically raised me, that's why." he said.

Gem thought this over and sighed. "So then why are you killing all of us?" she asked thoughtfully. her hand rested on the bed behind her, and she leaned back slightly. "I don't understand." Gem’s eyes looked away, down to her knee's which were half covered by her red school girl style skirt.

King grinned, "Because I am working under His will." he said. He pulled out a picture of Sloan, "He speaks to me. He tells me who to kill, when to kill them, and how. I obey His will."

Gem shrugged. "But doesn't that bother you just a little?" She asked "I mean, What if he told you to kill me? Would you do it?" She looked up at him and blinked innocently. "I don't think that Sloan would want me killed, I liked that guy." She leaned back all the way on the bed and folded her arms above her head, looking up at the lights. "But how would I know what he wants?" She tapped her toes against the carpeted floor.

King shook his head, "He says he would never order you dead. But if he had, I would have no choice but to kill you. He also says he only wants to talk to me because I am forever loyal to him." he explained, "Are you going to kill me now?" he asked.

Gem sat up and looked at him glumly. "I kind of have to, sorry." She apologized and took out her gun. She checked to make sure everything was set, before cocking it back, and pointing it at his head. "Tell him I said hi." She said and closed one eye taking aim slowly, not wanting to miss. “We’ll all miss you” She said softly.

Serrenedy's equitment ws gone in a moment, in another Gem was pinned agianst the wall "Eh, eh,eh I'm trying to keep you...non dead, I belive I asked for you to bring back my new bike" Serrenedy said from cross the street, she walked over slowly, arm exstended, dagers peeking slighty
((I have a slight question-Wesley's son is the same age as Gem...yet she knew Sloan, whom Wesly killed bedore getting on with his life?))

King smirked as Gem was pinned to the wall, "Addios." he said and ran out the door. He broke into a car and hot wired it. He drove out of town as fast as possible and switched cars in the next town.

Gem spat profanities at Serrenedy angrily. " I can't ******** believe they the hell you just did! You Stupid Basterd!" She struggled to rip herself free and slammed her feet into the wall hard. "God damn it, I have him, He was dead!" She snarled at the girl "******** it!" She finally tore herself loose, and slammed her fist into the wall, leaving a hole, and cutting up her hand even worse. "You're dead to me until I convince my self not to shot you." She walked out of the room, and got on the bike

Gem raced back to HQ. She parked in the garage, and ran though the building to the chemical baths. She saw Joker in one and ran to his side, ignoring the naked factor. "Joker?" She whispered and dunked her bloody right hand into the bath above him. "Joke?" She asked. "I had him, I had a gun to Kings head. I'm sorry That I was not fast enough. Renna stopped me..." She sighed and looked at his sleeping face.
