The machine didn't seem very hostile. Call someone to pick her up? What was that supposed to mean? Her stomach complained yet again. "I'm sorry, but could we please find me some food before going wherever it is we're going? I'm certain I've missed both lunch and dinner by now."

"This is the food court." The machine replied blankly, not understanding the food was long gone. "You may get yourself something before we head to the office."

Thornak's next shot tore a chunk out of the sphere. Archive passed out.
"Thornak!" Mithra exclaimed.
The soldier looked back, noting that she'd gone out, "Finally!" He twisted something and his gun sprayed shots at the sphere, obliterating it. He twirled the rifle and turned away as the remains crashed into the fountain.
"Let's go before it explodes." He said to the princess before scooping up Archive and walking out.

"But there's nothing to eat here," Bell argued back, extremely confused at what the thing was saying. There was clearly nothing left to eat in this place. She sighed and looked around. There wasn't much in this place at all.

The machine looked around, which was odd, since it's legs stayed still while it rotated around on top.
"This is the food court. It is currently lunchtime. All stalls are open currently." It said, not comprehending the lack of food.
An explosion sounded, unable to be drowned by the waterfalls.

Thornak and Mithra escaped just in time. The shockwave hit them from behind, knocking the princess over, but Thornak was unaffected as he carried Archive over his shoulder.
(I wish someone could draw my OCs... I'm rather bad at it...)

Bell spun around quickly as some sort of huge blast sounded behind her. Without looking back, she summoned as much force as she could, found what metal the demon had in it, and pushed it away as she sprinted towards the source of the explosion. There was no way back to the surface visible from where she stood, but the blast might have opened a new way out.

The security robot fell on it's back as she ran towards the explosion. Out the doorway the entire underground city could be seen, lit up and thrumming with electricity, It sounded like she was inside a massive metal demon. On the far side was a massive structure, cascading waterfalls from the ceiling around it. It was smoking from the entryway, and two... from this distance, they weren't easily visible, but two things were moving away from it.

Bell didn't pause at the sight of the city. For all she knew, the strange plasticy demon was right behind her. At first she was headed towards the explosion, but then some movement caught her eye. Two figures were running from the sight of the chaos. Hm, probably not good. She changed direction so that she might come up behind whatever these things were without them noticing. She hopped she could figure out if they were friends or foes before they heard the clanking her bag emitted when she ran. There was too much value in it to put it down and she was too afraid to slow down, so she mentally crossed her fingers as she got closer to the pair.

As they ran, it became apparent that the figures were three people. The faster one was a man in odd clothing with a large pack. he had a girl over his shoulder and a weapon that looked like a metal demon's arm. The second one was a young woman in a blue dress, not burdened with anything, but slowed down by the lightly elevated heels of her tailored shoes. She was the only one that looked 'normal,' and from her looks, she was either rich, or royalty. The girl over the man's shoulder was limp, and appeared to be wearing metal demon parts. They were in a hurry, and the man made so much noise from his pack, which clanked, a telltale sign of a great amount of metal in his pack.
"Come on! We need to get out of here quickly!"
"But why?"
"The power plant has no crew to maintain it! the exits are likely elevators, so we need to get out while power still flows." Thornak replied.
"I can't understand what you're saying." Mithra complained.
"We'll be stuck down here if we don't go NOW!" he restated angrily.

As she got closer, it became apparent that the two figures were actually three humans...or, at least one of them was. The other two seemed mostly human. The man seemed to have quite a lot of metal in his bag. Just as Bell was reaching out to investigate the contents, the older girl and the man started bickering. The only words she heard were from the man saying, "we'll be stuck down here if we don't go NOW!" At that point, she gathered her courage and called out, "hey!!"

Thornak whirled about, "Aw, no! Another Ollam... wait... you're not from Ollam... whatever! Let's get going now!" Thornak began to dash off towards a smallish building in the underground city's edge.
"Wait!" Mithra called, frantically trying to keep up in her shoes. "You'd best hurry too! Thornak said we'll be stuck here if we don't get out soon!" the princess said to Bell, before turning around to run after the man. (Thornak was surprisingly fast for such a load, but Alainn soldiers have lots of muscle and endurance training.)
