Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie. Damien sat down at the table, making sure to sit beside Meg. She seemed a little lost in a way, and he was just as lost, but trying hard not to show it. He piled food onto his plate, eating it in a way that not much unlike Rikki's. There was a bit more class, though not much. Seeing as he hadn't eaten since six the day before he'd been sucked in, and he had no idea what time it was now. What he did know is that his body was acting like the Plant in Little Shop of Horrors, saying "Feed me!"
His eyes glanced over to Meg, who seemed to barely be eating. He took a drink of the water than was in front of him, before leaning over to lie his head on her shoulder. "You need to eat he said, with a funny face. "Seriously, though. If you don't you'll be hungry later, and it'll be all your fault." He lifted his head off of her shoulder, then poking her neck. Her jugular vein to be specific."And don't give me any bull about how full you are. 'Cause you're not." He smiled a cheesy smile, taking another drink from his glass as he waited for her to start with the process of eating. Step one: Put food in your mouth.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie.
Meg rolled her eyes at Damien. She picked up a piece of bread and tore off a piece. "There are you happy?" She asked with food in her mouth. She chewed the bread and swallowed. It was good and she was hungry. She started putting random things onto her plate. She thought it was ironic that she could be such an animal lover and yet she could still eat meat without feeling any remorse. She picked up something that she had never seen before and hesitated putting it in her mouth. She noticed that Damien was still looking at her. "You dont have to worrie about me. I will eat because you told me so." She said while giving him one of her stern teacher looks.
((OMG! love the referace to little shop! We put on that play last year at my school.))

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie. He smirked, acting as though he was making sure she was actually swallowing. Then he laughed, at the face she no doubt gave him for it. "What? Why can't I worry about you? I mean, we can't let this pretty little face be un-beautified by her body shriveling up and dying, can we? No! Feed the body!" He was grinning, though he wasn't sure what she'd do with the compliment. Throw it away, ignore it, or take it to heart?
"Also, those kinds of looks don't work on me," he told her, taping her nose lightly with a skinny bread stick. After being a...." he searched for the right word. "... A bookworm for the last ump-teem years, I have built up a grand resistance to them. It's quite useful, you know."{We watched it last year i acting class. I kinda want to do the play of it now that you mention it.... The plant would be fun... *-*}

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie
Meg bit of the bread stick that he taped her nose with. "A pretty face like mine? Right." She said while rolling her eyes. She didnt think she was that pretty. "You only say that to make me eat more." She added while tapping his nose with her finger. "You need to eat more than i do. I dont want you to be grumpy all night. It's annoying even from someone as handsome as you." She said with a smile.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie. He made a mock distressed face at her eating his bread stick, before eating a bite off the end she'd bitten. "Your face is pretty, as it should be. And one as handsome as me, how would it be annoying? I mean, look at me!" He said once done chewing, holding his chest out in a fake proud stance. He watched as he eyes rolled, and raised an eyebrow. "So why don't you think you're pretty?" he asked, as she tapped his nose.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie
Meg looked at her hands and sighed. "Its a long story but if you must know, I was abused by my father. Both mentaly and physicaly. He constantly told me i will never amount to anything and that noone will ever love me. He also did one other thing to me that i am ashamed of." She said the last sentence quitely. "I dont think highly of myself because i know i will never be good enough for anyone." She said while picking up her glass of water and taking a sip, trying her best to avoid looking at his expression.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie. His face kept changing emotions, though not nearly as quickly as his mind was running them out. First it was sadness, for her. How could someone abuse their own daughter. Then anger and disgust for her father. How on earth could someone do that? And to their daughter! And then wanting to comfort her. Just looking at her made him want to make her feel that she was loved. Finally he pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry."
Pulling back from the hug, he lifted her chin so she'd look at his face. A look into his eyes told her that he was indeed sincere. "I'll bet those girls, your students i mean, they think you're the best. They love you, they know you've amounted to something great: a teacher. And I think you're the prettiest woman in this room. If anything, you're too good for me, not the other way around." He paused, and though that maybe since she shared this secret of hers, which was deep, perhaps he should tell of his.
"My parents died at the age of ten. And I've lived in a library since the age of eleven, never going to school." He fingered a choker necklace that had a golden stone on it. "This is the only thing I've got let of my parents." He looked back at Meg; he had unconsciously let his eyes wander to the large dragon that was in the room, and now waited for Meg to respond.

Meg didnt expect a hug. She sat there like an idiot. She looked into his eyes and felt good enough for once in her life. She was touched that he would confide in her with his past. She touched the necklace he was fingering and grabbed his hand and squezzed it. "You are an amazing person. We have more in commen than i thought was possible." She said then kissed his cheek lightly. "Thank you for telling me about your past. I know that it was hard to open up but, thanks." Meg said while turning to look at what he was staring at. She saw a beautiful dragon in the corner and smiled. She found it ironic that she taught mythology and on occasion taught about mythological creatures and now she is seeing one for real. She looked back at him and smiled. She picked up some more bread and took a bite.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie. At her comments, he chuckled slightly, and at her kiss, he blushed. "You went to school and I didn't. That's not very in-common," he teased. As she touched his necklace and grabbed his hand, he brought hers up to his mouth and kissed it lightly. "And you opened up first. It's only fair, that I were to do the same."
As she turned to look at the dragon that was sitting in the room with them, Damien turned and picked up his spoon, and ate some of the soup he had in front of him, savoring the vegetable soup's delicious carrots, peas, and potatoes.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie
"I kind of only told you part of the story. I have only been to school for a couple of years. My dad locked me in my room for a couple of years only to come in to 'punish' me and to give me what food he had left over. Then defax came and put me in foster care which was a joke. They didnt let me go to school. I had to stay and be the maid. Then I saw an add for a boarding school and called them to tell them about me situation and they let me go there instead." She told him.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie. Now, Damien felt like a jerk. He'd figured she's gone to school for a while. Then again, she was forced to not go to school. He gave it up, in preference of reading. He chewed on his tounge a while before saying anything. He wanted to apologize again, but she'd probably reject it, not wanting too much pity. Finally, "At least you got out of there." That was a good thing, yes indeed.

Meg saw the look in Damiens eyes and almost kicked herself. "You didnt know so dont feel bad." She said while smiling. "But being in the situation i was in made me who i am today. I am strong because of what happened and now if i see my father i know exactly what to do." She said while placing a hand ontop of his. She loved the way her hand felt against his.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie. He smirked. "That's exactly why feel bad," he replied. "If you do see your father again, don't kill him." At her look, he told her, "Killing him would give him the easy way out. Show him how much stronger you are now, and make him regret trying to disillusion your life." He stroked her cheek with one hand, and flipped the other over so that it was palm-up, instead of down beneath hers.

Meg smiled at him. "I dont plan on killing him. I plan to show him that i am better than him." She said while intertwining her fingers into his. "You know something, I am not affarid to be myself around you." She said while looking into his eyes. She didnt know what to say after that so she finished off the piece of bread she had in her hand and averted her attention to the food.

Chapter Two: Meeting the Magical Myndie. "Good," he said back about her father. He glanced down at their hands, watching as his fingers almost automatically copied hers. He looked back up, at her eyes, and blushed when she said she could be herself. "Who else would you be, if not yourself?" he asked quizzically, as she turned to finish her food.{Lol, it's okay. It's not like your posting one-liners. The only reason I'm posting like 3 paragraphs at most is because of another guild I'm in. When I first joined, they were "if you don't post more than a paragraph or two, you're out. So I found random stuff for my characters to think about and can do it easily now x3}
