Rapture soon awoke from his little nap to see his two cats. "You two are all that I have." He said sadly as he began to think. "That's it, I'll build something to kill them all!" He shouted as he stood up and shot a Blood Strand out.

Dr. Elliot looked around at Blackstone's room. "Everything to your liking?"
[enter the Mad Hatter from Gotham City]
The Hatter reached his apartment again, locking himself in. Making up some tea, he prepared for when the good doctor would recieve his little gift. 'Oh, it was going to be GLORIOUS!' He considered in uffish thought, drinking his tea.

"Indeed," Dr. Elliot agreed. "Anyways, being from this city's socially elite, I can basically go anywhere I wish with impunity. I hear that there's a party somewhere in the downtown district, upper-class only, naturally. Me reappearing after my apparent death will cause enough stir in this town to catch anyone's attention, particularly the Bat's. Openly, I can make no ill moves. However, if we can get some pawns, that'll change the game up a bit, wouldn't you agree?"

Blackstone smiled a bit. "Quite a bit." he replied. This was definately a welcomed change of pace. Normally he had very few people to discuss things with that weren't his "employees".

"Also," Tommy said, "It occurs to me that no one knows anyone that I knew from Philadelphia, so you could assert yourself as a buisiness accuaintance from there."

Blackstone's smile turned into a slight grin. "That shouldn't be hard to pull off." he replied. He had...a close relative or two that did business in Philadelphia. He could simply assume their role when needed. In the event that someone from his world recognized him, then his story of doing business there wouldn't be completely blown.

All JLA communicators suddenly recieved this message--"This is Zatanna Zatara to all JLA core and reserve members; keep an eye out for a little girl, about five years old, red hair, red eyes, Caucasian, likely wearing a red and white dress. Answers to Rosie. ... Could be multiple versions of subject. If found, please bring back to watchtower. Repeat, bring to watchtower. And yes, Flash, I'm aware that this sounds like a lost kitten poster. Shut up."

Tommy nodded, then said, "Now, in the fairness if this being an even partnership, anything you want to say that might affect any planning?"

"At the moment, nothing comes to mind." Blackstone replied. "There are a few people who've made it to this universe that are from my world. If they see me, they'll know exactly who I am. They should be easy enough to deal with." he continued, then paused a moment. "I would prefer to take care of them personally."

Hush looked a little puzzled at the last comment. "Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of having pawns? The ability to commit deeds with no apparent ties TO said deeds? Sure, it's all well and good to be willing to get your hands dirty, but shouldn't that be left for when there's no one to do it instead? Fingerprints get left behind. Trails can be followed. Everyone and their mother has a camera phone. If you insist, fine, but I merely make the point of it being safer to have others do it for you."

Blackstone smirked a little. "And that's how I usually do business. But, there are one or two people that I would rather have brought to me rather than killed. My former wife for one..." he replied.

"Ah, that DOES lend itself to more personal means of extermination, doesn't it? Fair enough. And the possible second?" Tommy asked.

"I don't know if he even made it to this universe, but should someone who goes by Arachnis arrive, I'd like to take care of him personally. He's responsible for the death of my late wife." he replied.
