"Mr. Atray? That makes me sound old, I don't even let my students call me that. For me, I just think Draqy is a much better name. Just replacing the x with a y sure makes things a whole lot easier. Or maybe I just enjoy the way the name sounds." He let out a slight chuckle as he listened to the other teacher. His eyes moved to look toward Kiami. "Well, for me being a teacher isn't really that distracting. Maybe a little bit considering I always have to work on lesson plans or my classes would be no help. The last thing I want is for someone to get hurt because of my teaching. Though, despite that, there are always chances to keep my skills from getting rusty. I do take full advantage of that. Besides, I think what Draqy was trying to say is that we're not really going for the fighting aspect, but we're there to figure out what's going on. It's not like the both of us can't fight. Infact, you should see what Draqy here is capable of. We can handle ourselves for sure." He smiled a bit and chuckled. "We'll just see what happens."

Zenn's eyes stayed on the other seeing if he could find anything out about his opponent without even fighting. Despite the fact that he didn't really care if he would die or not, he still wasn't going to attack without a plan. "We'll go with that if you insist." He didn't want to show off his true strength just yet. So he was just going to attack like normal and see how Taro reacted. "Here I come."
His grip on his sword with one hand got tighter as he slowly started to move forward. As he continued he sped up in a slight jog before running forward toward him. His sword was to his side as he came closer. Bringing his other hand up to the hilt he moved his sword up before coming down with a quick slash aimed toward his enemy.

"Is that all you got?" Taro said as he blocked the slash with his sword. He was able to absorb most of the slash even though it forced his own sword slightly. Still, he blocked well and now it was his turn to repost. He flicked his hand and slashed with his sword sideways against Zenn's stomach. This was only the beginning of the fight and he didn't expect this attack to actually win it all for him.

Zenn quickly jumped backward avoiding the sideways slash. Coming to a stop he let the tip of his sword touch the ground slightly. Without hesitating he moved forward slashing upward this time. He could tell that Taro would probably block this attack too. His sword skill was probably better, but that didn't stop him from trying anyways.

Draqx gave a little harump.
'Speak for yourself combat wise, I have not fought since the last time, back when they were still using the MK I exo-loaders and there was that one giant spiny creature thing, had to use the loader to hold it of for reinforcements... of course it was only good for scrap after that, but I guess it did help get some things developed, like the variable modular system that I got requisitioned... at least this generation of skin suit is one that can be moved around in fairly well.'

Taro sidestepped the attack this time, letting the sword pass by him by only inches. A single loose hair that wasn't tied up in Taro's bun was cut off and it floated down to the ground. Taro smiled at how wide open Zenn left himself, the only reason he managed to escape him was sheer luck and speed. He thrust forward recklessly with a stab. Whether the stab landed or not was irrelevant because what Taro was really aiming to do was cut Zenn with the spikes on his elbow.

“Umm, yeah Draqx, you can keep to the smart stuff and we’ll cover your back huh?” Kiami had never been big on technology especially when it came to weapons and other such things. She looked around; Amico was certainly taking his time getting out here.
“It’s getting hot out, where’s Amico?” She reached out towards the water from the fountain, having it turn to mist and swirl around her to help her keep cool. “See lucid, I may be immune to the cold, but this heat makes it not worth it, unless I live in like, Alaska.” She sighed. She had been fighting for a long time with her weakness to heat and it had only improved a little with all her training. “I think I’ll have to feel the cold before I can stand the heat.” She shrugged.

Tori had taken to ignoring the little twerps completely, and instead she moved to sit beside Kiami and Lucid, just to get away from those guys before they drove her over the edge. This was why she didn't talk to people. They were annoying and inconsiderate, well.. That was one reason. She had gotten her hat back from Leo by giving him a nasty freeze burn, and she placed it awkwardly on her head again. "Where's Amico?" She asked Kiami, though her tone was still bland and monotone. Her bags were already packed. Tori always came prepared, considering she was almost constantly on missions. She hardly ever got to spend time at the Syndicate these days.
That was the price to pay when you made it to level B though. Letting out a sigh, Tori looked around in annoyance. She absolutely hated the heat. Though it didn't bother her because she could cool herself, it was still annoying. Frowning, she began to cool the air down rapidly, not really caring if anyone complained. She was hot, and that was all that mattered. She was sure Kiami wouldn't be complaining either.

"Well, I still say you're probably the only researcher that could take on the kind of things we fight. Just saying, it's that massive brain of yours." Lucid smiled slightly, he felt the same way about the smart stuff as Kiami. It usually didn't make sense, but then again, that was always how Draqx was. "The last time I actually fought something had to have been a month ago at least. Though it wasn't much of a fight. Though yeah, we'll cover your back for sure Draqy." His attention turned to the others in the square and he glanced toward Tori.
Walking back over to the bench and stopped a few feet away. "Hello there Tori, it's been a while since I saw you around the Syndicate. Those missions, they sure take time don't they? Now, about this new mission, just so you know, it's gonna be a tough one. Even if you don't get along with people, that's fine, though we all need to work as a team. It'll sure lead to disaster. So, I know it may be difficult to work with those two, but just try for me, okay?"

Zenn saw his attack miss and was able to miss the stab, but the spikes on Taro's elbow caught him in the side. He managed to stay on his feet and quickly turned around before jumping backward again. He chuckled slightly as where the spikes hit was a small cut. "Heh, seems like you have the advantage with just normal swordplay. Let me just turn up the heat a little bit." Using his power his sword once again was engulfed in black flames. Smirking a bit his eyes moved to his own sword. "Now, we'll see if you can keep from getting burned. Since I attacked first last time, why don't you come at me this time."

((Damn, have to destroy a freaking town to get noticed rolleyes I'm having fun regardless blaugh ))
Haruna gazed at a passing human from the roof top on some store as she waited for the moment which was best to strike. They couldn't have been much older then about 18, Haruna was never a good judge of age, after all she was forever stuck at 16. A small sadistic grin slowly came on her face as she slowly drew a knife and sneaked her way towards the young man. His hair was brown, facial features were something should couldn't see because she was coming at him from behind. He wore some kind of blue shirt and some black baggy pants. In best appearance, he was similar to that of a guy who thought he was tough, part of a gang. As Haruna advanced along the roof, keeping herself hidden using her ninja training so she wouldn't draw attention from anyone across the street.
As the man continued to walk, he was joined by a few other tough looking characters, Haruna didn't know it, but they were part of a local gang which had been causing a lot of trouble in the area. Not caring about the addition of others, she continued to stalk her prey like a hungry lioness would. The others who joined him were also men, two were rather tough and bulked out, something like a wrestler, while the third was pretty small, quite skinny, a guy pulled into a life which was quite violent. As the four of them turned and headed down an alley, Haruna saw a sign which which seemed to say something about a club. Maybe where they lived, she guessed and quickly dismissed any thought as she went back to the hunt. No feelings, but yet the emotions she got from hunting someone, they made her mind feel as if it were alive. She would kill them all if she had too, what difference would it make if it were one, or even twenty. They were alive, they should be dead and suffering like her!
As the men disappeared into the club, Haruna skillfully jumped down and headed for the door. Almost immediately she was stopped by the bouncer. "Sorry, no kids allowed!" Haruna didn't stop and the bouncer was forced to grab her and try to restrain her. Before she knew it, her face was almost slammed into the brick wall, the bouncer having pinned her there. "I said no kids! Get lost b***h before I kill ya!" Haruna was pulled away, her left cheek showed signs of a small dent, had she not been dead, she would be in tears from the pain due to the dislocated jawbone from the hard impact. As the bouncer threw her onto the alley pavement he chuckled and turned away to go back into the club. Haruna lay there, almost in a seductive way as she forced her jawbone back into place and forced her body up.
Through the whole ordeal, the knife she had been holding was on the ground, the bouncer was to focused on her and disabled her so quickly it went unnoticed. Just as the bouncer vanished into the club, Haruna pushed off the ground with her feet and ran towards the knife. She jumped into the air, rolled and as she hit the ground she grabbed the knife, came out of her roll, twisted her body and threw the knife through the club enterance and into the back of the bouncers neck, hitting just below the skull, penetrating just at the start of the spine, killing the big man instantly as he fell forward and hit the floor. Some noise from inside the bar caused Haruna to pause, as a few women screamed in terror as the men quickly raced for guns, thinking it was a rival gang. As members grabbed hold of guns, all hell broke loose as they opened fire, shooting at the door, the brick wall near the door, and hoping that the hail of fire would keep what ever was outside out, and if anything went through the wall it would kill them.
Haruna was taken back by the loud bangs, she had never heard a gun fired before, it was loud and made her panic, quickly grabbing a card, she focused and released the spirit. "Kaji da!" A large ball of flame suddenly appeared and sailed through the club door and into the building. As it struck the wall it sent magical fire in all directions, incinerating anything it touched. It took only a few seconds for the fire to cover the entire club and then when the fire spirit vanished, the entire building went off, probably from weapons stored inside. Haruna was sent through the wall behind her, as debris flew in all directions, windows shattered sending glass everywhere, and alarms went off across the street in nearby cars. As fire raged out of the remains of the building, sirens started to blear off in the distance as fire trucks, and other emergency vehicles were brought into action from frantic calls by people who just saw a building in front of them suddenly explode. Haruna was in pretty bad shape, her body was beaten from not only the bouncer, but the shock wave which sent her through the building.
As she struggled to stand upright, she slowly made her way forward, the fire reflecting off her eyes as she watched flames rise into the air. Haruna broke into an even bigger grin as she started to laugh a little. She would have stayed longer had the emergency vehicles not arrived. As firemen rushed to get the fire under control, police started to create a barrier and keep the people away. Haruna, not wanting to be found by anyone living, she looked for a place to escape. taking another card, this one similar to the sword she had used against the ice man in Siberia, she went for the nearest wall away from the fire, and began to hack her way through it. As water started to hit the fire, Haruna broke through the wall a little and desperate to get out, rammed her way through the weakened structure, and vanished into the shadows of the other alleyways

Taro was only mildly satisfied with the wound he inflicted on Zenn. It didn't hit a vital spot, it wouldn't make him bleed to death, and maybe worst of all the move would become null and void since Zenn would expect and prepare for it. The only good this about it was that it caused Zenn pain, which made him smile, and he would think twice before coming that close to Taro again.
There was a pop, the noise of oxygen igniting, and Zenn's cursed black sword was consumed by fire. Taro frowned, knowing things had just got a whole lot more complicated.
"So that's your trump card? Good, because without it you're not impressive, I'm afraid. I was starting to wonder if it was really you that did all this." Taro circled around Zenn a few times, looking for a good opening. Whatever openings Zenn had before were now of no use to him, Taro though. All Zenn had to do was move the sword slightly when Taro went in for the kill and that was it, he'd be burned. The sword wouldn't even have to touch him.
"Here I come!" Taro shouted. He dashed towards Zenn it what appeared to be one big slide. He kept his distance, instead sticking his sword out to the side and hoping to cut him along the way.

Leo was running around the foutain area trying to warm off the freeze burn that Tori left him with. He had never disliked Tori, and he really didn't have any harsh or cold feelings toward her, but she was always so cold hearted towards everyone. No sense of humor. What a shame. Leo stopped by Lucid and Tori as he began about the new mission that Leo was assigned to. "Tori, my darling, are you assigned the new mission in Germany, aswell?" Before she could speak, Leo jumped into a cheerful rant. "Oh, this is just wonderful! Oh, your a seeker, right? Because I am! Oh, we're going to have so much fun! Don't you agree?" He asked ever so suttlely. He smiled wide. For some reason, he was very bouncey and bubble. It was probably because of all the fresh air. He didn't get very much fresh air, but when he did, he sure did enjoy it. "And don't worry, I'm level B, too." He put up two fingers. "I'm sure that this mission will go succesfully with both of us working together, right?" He smiled widely.

'Aye, that might be true... but just because I can does not mean I like doing so. So I am preparing it so that I should be prepared for anything less then godzilla level... for that we would need assisting air stikes and close air support.'

Zenn pivoted to the side slightly as he brought his sword downward to barely deflect the sword slash, preventing it from slicing him open. A slight smirk crossed his lips as a fireball of black flames materialized in his free hand. If Taro had thought that only his sword had the fire power, he'd be sorely mistaken. Without hesitation he moved his hand forward causing the black fireball to hurtle toward Taro. He hoped to catch him off guard with the attack and hopefully do some damage.
((He had a free hand cause he was only holding his sword with one. Just so you know.))

A look of surprise and fear spread across Taro's face as the fireball came towards him. He thought about blocking with his sword but he could see how ineffective that would be, so when it came near him he did his best to dodge it. Taro raised his hand, arching it above the fireball. It passed by underneath his armpit even though it did burn a bit. He didn't turn around to watch it go by, immediatly countering instead. Taro figured that Zenn had focused too much on sending a fireball at him that he had forgotten they were still fighting with swords.
When Zenn reflected the course of Taro's sword he used the momentum entirely, swinging his arm around and slicing at Zenn over the top (from above).
(((Not a bad fight so far, wouldn't you say?)))
