EveRoarke I've been a CLAMP fan forever, so I check Clamp-net at least once a week. And thats how I first found out about Tsubasa. I just about had a heart attack I was so excited. And then I had to tell everyone I knew. I went back home (to Japan, since thats where I consider home) later that year (or early the next) and got the first volume right as it came out in Japan. I got to see the anime right when it came out in Japan since I get Asian cable since my grandmother wants to stay connected to her homeland, so I always get to stay up to date on whats new in Japan ^-^ lucky!! *whine* the first and last*up until this point, at least. ninja * time i went to japan (osaka, i think), it was pre-obsession. i knew nothing of CLAMP, nor manga.... gonk -sakura

I was in Suncoast with my friends when I saw Tsubasa on a rack. I picked it up to read about it, and I saw the "Sakura and Syaoran return!" thing on the back, immediately realizing it was CCS characters. Then I sat there thinking "Hmm, I haven't finished reading CCS yet..... But who knows if I'll be able to find this again(I hadn't ever seen it before)..... So I'll get it!" And after reading the first book I became addicted to it ^.^

I was in desperate need of some interesting anime...and a family friend suggested that I watch Tsubasa Chronicle. He gave me a synopsis and I was hooked!

Last year I made a new friend in my Japanese class. She first lent me Cardcaptor Sakura and I got hooked on that. As I was watching that anime I saw her reading a manga called Tsubasa that just so happened to have Syaoran on the front of it. She then told me there was an anime for it. I thought that it was going to be a continuation of CCS. I looked it up on youtube and was surprised that it was something completely different than what I expected. I absolutely loved it and I watched everything that was out then. My friend then lent me the mangas. Now I am completely hooked on Tsubasa and it is my favorite anime and manga series ever. My friend has all the mangas out so far and the first season on dvd. We watch the dvds a lot and I am going to buy it this weekend. I have also read the newest mangas out in Japan online. I am very thankful to my friend for getting me into Tsubasa. I absolutely love it and I am such a Syaoran fan girl.

I was introduced to Tsubasa by a friend. This is how it all started.
I missed my friends birthday, so I wanted to make her a birthday card. So I went to the school computer lab/library and one of her friends came with us. We asked her (the girls missed birthday) what her favourite anime was and she wondered why. So I told her it was for a birthday card because it was and she said her favourite was Tsubasa, so then I asked what the characters were adn everything, and after I gave the girls missed birthday her birthday card she let me borrow the manga books, and from there I started watching the anime.

I was introduced to Tsubasa via the internet, they were up to chapter 10 in Japan when I found out about it. I've been hooked since.

Okies, so I was in the Barnes & Noble with my uncle and little cousin when I went up to visit them in Arizona in August. My little cousin and my uncle were in the kid's section, I think (for my little cousin is seven) and I was, of course, sitting on the floor in the manga section 'til my butt went numb.
So I'm sitting there and I'm all, "H'ohmigod! Hellsing volume three! Wai! xd " and then I was all, "Oooohh... The Tarot Cafe. Never read it, but it sounds cool." So I was reading, and then I noticed Tsubasa and I was all, "I started reading part of this last time I was here... (Wow, two years. It's been a while.)"
So I pull it off the shelf and I read about half of it, before my uncle had to get back home before he left for work (works for the National Weather Service and had to leave for work in the afternoon that day) so I was all, "I have limited funds for while I'm here and for buying junk. I don't wanna waste all of it so I can only buy two. Well, I gotta buy my Hellsing 'cause it's Hellsing and this Tarot Cafe one sounds cool." So I didn't buy it.
Then, last month, I was on deviantART and I caught sight of some very cute KuroganexFai pictures and I was all, "Kyaaaaaaaaaaa...! It's so cute! Gotta buy the manga!"
So I did. And I've been on a Tsubasa-high ever since. The End. xd

So I started reading it too, and so started the obsessive fandom and random hoarding of any Tsubasa pictures I could find.

'Cause I'm obsessive that way. biggrin (*le gasp* Kim-chan spoke blasphemy today in regards to Tsubasa! ....But I will speak of this later, so we do not stray from the assigned topic. ninja )

My friend was obsessed with it. I had read the ad for it in the back of Negima volume 1, and was like... "OMFG ITS SAKURA AND SYAORAN! WHEEE!" And then I got in trouble for swearing in class. Then my friend told me it was good 1 year later. And I read them from 1-3 then 5+6. Now Im a fan. sweatdrop

Hmm... I don't really remember. I think I first saw it at Chapters and I read a few volumes. Then I totally forgot about it until my friend and I saw it at Chapters again like a year later, and now I'm totally obsessed. heart

Well, I've been a big CLAMP fan for years, first getting hooked on Cardcaptor Sakura way back when. And...hmm, I can't quite remember how I got onto Tsubasa and xxxHolic. I remember seeing the DelRey ads and such. It was probably from Anime Expo or just from browsing the shelves of Borders on my own.
