Anima ducked, but the punch snagged her ear. Knowing what attack she was supposed to use, she did it before Snookie could teleport away.
Renekai crossed her fingers. If the battle kept going like this, she could win!

 Being that Snookie was on the edge of exhaustion, he could not avoid the attack.
Kayla watched Snookie took the hit and fainted while his unconscious mind kept his body from falling to the floor completely. Even a protective bubble formed to prevent from any attack to harm him while he was out of it.
"You were amazing, Snookie. Now you need some rest and I'll still give you candy after this is over." Kayla called Snookie back into his pokeball before throwing out her next and last pokemon left.
"Adira! Time for some revenge!"
Adira appeared on one of the platforms and growled unhappily at being in this type of field. Trying to keep the field type out of her mind, she looked up towards her next victim and growled threateningly. No one harms her family and gets away with it. Sure, Quin was now a pokemon type that she despise but she could not rid the fond memories of their past.
Now Kayla and Adira waits for Rene and Anima's next move.

"Anima, I know you're tired, but hang in there!" Renekai said encouragingly. "Water Pulse!"
Anima crouched on her platform, and suddenly a jet of water was propelled towards Adira. That was one big pokemon, but maybe Anima could still help take it down!

Adira roared in outrage at the water attack as she shook off the attack. The Rampardos was barely managing to keep herself where she was being that Kayla had not given any orders yet. But only just.
Her eyes were locked on Anima and if looks could kill, Anima would be burnt to a crisp.
Kayla shouted the first command for the last battle and hopefully not the last. "Adira, use Focus Blast!"
For that attack, Adira was grateful she didn't have to attempt to jump from platform to platform as she created a white energy orb ball that grew before it charged at Anima.

The last thing that Anima saw before the blackness took her was Adira's rage. Well, at least she had gotten one good hit in... Then she fainted, falling limply over her platform.
"Good job, Anima," Renekai said quietly. She returned the Furret back to her pokeball for a good, long rest.
Renekai looked at her remaining pokemon. With Bell and Anima knocked out, she only had Dreydonna and Chaos left. Dreydonna was exhausted, and way out of the question. The choice was obvious. "It's time, Chaos."
Beautiful Chaos stood, eyes set dead ahead. He nimbly jumped onto a floating platform, then turned to face his opponent. Just as Isamu would one day fall, so would Adira. And it would be at his claws.

Adira watched as Rene called back Anima with satisfaction. One down two more to go. One of them was not up for a real battle but this one could be a challenge and they both knew it.
Kayla knew that if they were to have any chance at winning, they need to end this fast! "Ice Beam!"
Adira two large horns on her head started to have a static energy but it wasn't electric. It started to form a light blue color again like all the other times Kayla had her pokemon do this move, all of them either didn't last very long or was a dud. Hopefully now it will work like it should.
After a few seconds, Adira released it with a roar.

Hmm... If Adira kept that up, it wouldn't be good for them. Renekai would have to find a way around that, and soon.
Chaos growled as he felt his limbs stiffen. He would be able to move soon, though. If ice attacks had had much affect on him, he wouldn't have survived in Inhinx as he had.

Adira growled in frustration at the 'weakness' of the ice beam. Angry at herself. she snorted before sending another Ice Beam again, hoping to last longer.
Kayla didn't bother rebuking Adira for not waiting for her command because Adira knew what they had to do to win.

Renekai sighed. It was all she could do not to scream, 'STOP FREEZING US!' But instead, she relieved her anger by grabbing Dreydonna and hurling her into the stadium.
Chaos shook free of the ice and padded back into the trainer's podium. That hadn't been very entertaining.
Dreydonna's face was frozen in an 'D8' expression. What did she do to deserve this?!

Adira was disappointed that the absol didn't get frozen in time for a few turns but oh well. Now was a good time to up her chances of winning.
Kayla also caught on to Adira's plan and agreed whole-heartedly. "Use Anicent Power!"
Adira roared in triumph as she glowed to make her attack that more powerful. Now it was time to make good use of it on the next turn. Quote: 825/1000 Anicent Power +50 ATK

"Haze..." Renekai said, trying to keep her frustration level low. Things were going to be very difficult now... Chaos needed the upper hand-- er, paw-- to win here. Renekai had a slim idea of what to do, but it would take a lot of luck.
Dreydonna disappeared once again into a cloud of black mist. She felt a sense of foreboding; she was tired and about to get knocked out by a dinosaur!

Kayla could feel a sudden tension in the air, more so than before. She shivered a bit as she had a feeling what was about to happen.
Adira, her eyes still locked on Dreydonna, suddenly bared her teeth as if she was grinning maliciously at the ghost pokemon. This was for all the water pokemon and water type attacks that was aimed at her.
"Stop being mean, Adira and finish this with Mud-Slap."
Snorting slightly before she started flinging mud, which just happened to appear out of nowhere in her claws and now at Dreydonna. Quote: 825/1000 Anicent Power +50 ATK

Dreydonna suddenly felt a desperate will to keep awake and made a bid for safety. She managed to get it by falling through the air a few feet. She was so tired that she was dimming out. Her eyelids drooped... But she could still go on!
Now that was lucky. Could their luck keep up? Was it worth the risk, or should Dreydonna merely inflict as much damage as possible before being sacrificed? It would pay off if it worked... Renekai bit her lip. She would feel bad if she just let Dreydonna be beaten like that. She had to take the chance! ".... Ice Punch?" she said, already wondering if she was making a big mistake.
Dreydonna formed a block of ice from her mists. She aimed carefully, then lugged it towards the large rock pokemon.

Adira roared in fury that the attack did not make contact at all. The little ball of gas managed to dodge it in time and that made her furious.
When Adira saw Dreydonna was coming with an Ice Punch, she nimbly dodged it but just barely. Even tired, Dreydonna was fast and Adira respected that before going at Donna again with another mud-slap.

"Pooh," Renekai muttered, returning Dreydonna to her pokeball. So it came down to this. She only had Chaos, and Kayla only had Adira. "... Just as long as she doesn't freeze us... We have the health advantage..." Renekai told herself, trying to keep calm. Now that they were at the climax, she felt a bit nervous.
Chaos reentered the field. He hadn't even gotten to use an attack yet! He kept in mind Adira's extra attack power and made a mental note. It would be dangerous if he didn't take care of it soon. Unlike his trainer, Chaos kept a cool head, concentrating on the battle, and not on the result.
