"I am much too depressing for an early morning stroll. What terrible company I am being!" Zywynran exclaims after the song draws to a close. "But no matter; it has passed the time well enough and we are nearing our destination." He gestures toward the garrison though he wishes he hadn't. His cloak parted only for that brief gesture but he could swear he became twice as cold in that time.

[[Sorry for the story delay, early snow, car trouble, and my current lack of internet, makes it difficult, I'm using a friend's computer currently]]
The Garrison was coming into view, though the thick fog persisted. A guard holding a torch stands in front of the door. As you approach he bangs his hand on the door, and it begins to creak open, hitting with a loud bang on the inner walls.

Hope had been up since dawn. She had dressed, said her morning prayers, then went down to the kitchen for breakfast. Afterwhich, she set off to explore the surrounding countryside. She hadn't gotten very far however, when she heard the church bells ringing. Hmm, she must have taken longer at breakfast than she thought. Well, it had been a good breakfast.
She came around the side of the inn in time to see the dwarf leave the building. "Ah! Good morning to you good inkeep! I hear the bells of your local church calling. I had desired to go, but my explorations did not get me far. Under the circumstances, I got a rather minimal veiw of this region last night. Might I please walk with you?"
As she waited for the man to respond she added, "I would like to complement you on your staff. I found no fleas in the bedding and the breakfast was well prepared."

Walking down the stairs Kale moved his hands swiftly over the buttons of his cloak which was the color of a scarlet red. Walking outside Kale set off to find the garrison sinking slightly ankle deep in the snow.
((Sorry for short post quite busy watching wee nephews and nieces.))

 Beauty watched as the large gate opened. Though she wasn't exactly sure if it was large, as she was very small. "You're not depressing, I liked your voice and that's all that mattered," she responded with a light voice. She looked back to barely see the scarlet cloak of the paladin. "You go inside Zywynran, I'll bring the paladin," she said with a giggle as she started back down. "Paladin," she shouted as she got a little closer. Beauty still avoided touching him, but she stood in front of him and giggled. "The garrison is this way if you're looking for it. I could lead you," she offered. She still wanted to make sure it was the garrison and not the church he was looking for. For the church, she'd have to follow a headache...not high of her list of "to-do's"

"Of course." Zywynran replies as Kchelach leaves his side. It is a regrettable thing as he was much enjoying her company, but he had no love for this cold and was all too ready to step inside the garrison. He smiled and inclined his head politely to the guard as he steps inside. He went to the first person he saw within the building and asked "Might you tell me where to find Captain Havicson?"

Looking down at Beauty Kale pulled a smile together through chattering teeth, "T-that w-w-would b-be l-l-lovely." Kale said as he forcefully closed his mouth and chin to stop the chattering. And then motioned for Beauty to lead the way with a outstretched arm.

Beauty giggled and pranced forward, resisting the urge to grab his hand to pull him in the right direction. "This way," she called, making sure she could still see him. She could, but she waited for him to catch up before going forward again. Beauty kept this up, making sure she never lost sight of him, but never touching him, or his clothes. Once they got there, she said, "Here we are, Zywynran's already inside getting warm."

((Sorry for late post getting ready for holidays and such lol sweatdrop ))
Smiling Kale walked inside of the garrioson welcoming the heat and comfort.
"Thank you for showing me the way Beauty, I would have probably
been lost without you." Putting his shield onto his back above his crossed shaped sword, Kale walked along with his armor clinking about and spotted the colorful elf from the inn. "I think I spot your rainbow friend Beauty." Kale said with a smile and motioned for her to lead.

"Rainbow friend?" Zywynran repeated as he turned, proving his somewhat tapered ears were not just for show. "I do think I like that, sir." Zywynran offers Kale a coyly demure smile, lowering his lashes over his eyes some. He meant nothing by it, but being warm and in good company again had him in quite the mood. "And you've brought Beauty back to me. Wonderful." he went to Kchelach and took her hands in his, ostensibly to warm them.

Beauty giggled as she bowed deeply to the paladin. "It wasn't a problem at all Holy Knight," she giggled as she pulled out of her bow. She hopped and skipped towards Zywynran, jingling the whole way. She accepted his hands, letting them warm quickly with his warmth. "Oh, I really wish I hadn't worn a skirt. Pant would have been a much better choice today," she giggled as she shivered momentarily.

"While the skirt is a marvelous aesthetic choice, I must say the conditions outside do demand a bit more, yes." Zywynran agreed with a sympathetic smile. Ah, the trials of being an attractive, well dressed woman. " Would that we had come to this decision much sooner. I hardly think you would enjoy walking back to the tavern to retrieve more weather appropriate clothing."
