Kane pulled her up and gently nudged her in the direction of the bed. "I will sit when you are comfortable."

She scooted to the bed and sat down. "But I'm not the one who's supposed to be recovering from injuries..." She pointed out, watching him.

Kane smiled and sat down on the other side of the bed, pulling his hooves up and stretching out. "Are you comfortable like that?"

She wasn't yet. She waited for him to get comfortable before she snuggled with him, resting her head on his shoulder.

Kane reached down and pulled the covers up over them. "Good. I'll sleep better knowing you are right beside me." He absently stroked her hair as he contemplated sleep.

She cuddled close, breathed his scent in and sighed softly.She was finding she loved having him close by like this, making her feel cherished....not like how a family cherishes but the way a man can.

Kane watched her through half closed eyes. Something about her made him want to wrap her up in his arms and never let her go. He fell asleep with her there, resting better than he had in ages.

She let time slip away as she cuddled close, slowly drifting to sleep herself. She catnapped there in his arms.

Kane woke up to his stomach growling. He yawned and looked down at Rosette to see if his noisy stomach had woken her up too.

She was sound asleep, not the least bit disturbed by his stomach. She'd turned over so her head was more on the pillow, but she remained close to him as she slept.

Kane gently tried to scoot out of bed without waking Rosette up. He caught his horn on the pillow and cursed softly.

She snuggled into his spot. She nuzzled the pillow and had a little smile on her face. Stirring, she looked up at him and smiled. "Hi..."

"I slept exceptionaly well. I think it had something to do with the soft thing cuddling me." He smiled and pushed a piece of hair out of her face.
